SiennyLovesDrawing is feeling positive with HK Private Equity Fund diversifies into Malaysia 😁 🇲🇾🇭🇰

SiennyLovesDrawing has been invited & attended the launch ceremony of the Asia-Pacific One Belt One Road Tourism Industry Fund on 14 October 2016.

~~ Evergreen Offshore Inc zooms in on Malaysia’s tourism sector for a long term gain ~~

Evergreen Offshore Inc. (“Evergreen” or the “Company”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Evergreen Group, it was incorporated at the British Cayman Islands in May 2012. Evergreen’s primary business involves Enterprises Analysis, Private Equity Funds & Listing Operations.

At present, Evergreen holds 2 Trust Units:

i. Evergreen Offshore Fund Trust

ii. Asia-Pacific One Belt One Road Tourism Industry Fund

To date, Evergreen has a total of USD200 million in capital commitments & has invested over USD50 million in the 1st phase of its investment blueprint.

The Launch of Asia-Pacific One Belt One Road Tourism Industry Fund, 14 October 2016

Evergreen has just launched in Malaysia its private equity fund which worth HKD10 billion named Asia Pacific One Belt One Road Tourism Industry Fund (“the Fund”) on 14 Oct 2016. It is a private equity fund which targeting the tourism sector in Malaysia. By building on the existing strong bilateral relations between China 🇨🇳 & Malaysia 🇲🇾 , Evergreen aims to further boost the relationship by investing in Malaysia’s tourism sector for long term gain. The decision to debut the Fund in Malaysia was strongly backed by the evident growth of the Malaysia tourism industry & the Malaysian Government’s plan to increase its investment in developing the sector.

“The Fund is set up with a long-term vision to promote the tourism sector in countries and regions along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road,” said Mr. Davy Chan, Chairman of the Evergreen Group.

“Through our partners here in Malaysia, as well as our own findings, we understand that the Malaysian Government will increase its investment in the tourism industry.”

Tourism and travels are Malaysia’s third largest source of foreign exchange earnings, which stood at RM61 billion, 5.7% of its total gross domestic product (GDP). The number is projected to reach RM262.2 billion, 15.8% of its GDP by 2025.

“By working with Hong Kong 🇭🇰 & Mainland China 🇨🇳, Malaysia 🇲🇾 will gain better financial strength thus strengthening its existing foundation & infrastructure in the hopes of achieving more integrated productivity & attracting investment,” added by Mr. Davy Chan in his speech.

One Belt One Road (“OBOR”) initiative is a strategic development by the Chinese Government in 2013, under the leadership of its president, Xi Jing Ping. The far-reaching transformational development will be the cornerstone that leads the country on the path of modernisation & bolsters its leadership position in the world.

On land, OBOR connects China to Central Asia through its Silk Road Economic Belt.

On sea, OBOR connects China to Southeast Asian countries, Africa & Europe through its 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Economic Belt.

Meanwhile, the visionary development initiatives will build the “maritime transport corridors” that connect important ports along the trading route to create an international economic collaboration.

Malaysia is strategically situated on the south belt. In addition to the Chinese Government, many private sectors, including Evergreen, have come together & aspire to contribute to the success of the ambitious initiative by investing in relevant projects in the OBOR trade route.

Evergreen is already in talks with a few potential project owners who are directly involved in the tourism development projects. Evergreen has allocated HKD2 billion from the Fund to invest in Malaysian projects ahead of its other targeted markets including Thailand 🇹🇭 & Vietnam 🇻🇳. The Fund is managed by Ever Centurion Limited based in Hong Kong. AFV Consultants Group Sdn Bhd is exclusive strategy partner in Malaysia involved in project assessment & due diligence process.

There is no better place than Hong Kong, with its ‘One Country, Two Systems’ policy, where one can access such an opportunity. Through the Fund, Evergreen will take advantage of its vast & powerful network in Hong Kong & China to attract the key investors from both countries to invest in promising tourism related projects in Malaysia. The Fund is a capital market instrument & will be working with Hong Kong listed entities to protect the robustness of projects in Malaysia.

Since there are many potential tourism development & related projects waiting to be developed, it foresees that the OBOR initiative will further promote economic growth in Malaysia.

Gourmet Safari KL,

Foodie lovers will enjoy gourmet food, precious wine, whiskies & cocktails (mocktails) to celebrate the intimacy of socialising at the dinner table by guided tour to 6 F&B ourlets owned by Werners Group, at Changkat Bukit Bintang KL.

Just to take note when you are having your Muslim relatives or friends visiting to KL, this is because of serving alcoholic beverages, 5 of their outlets are Muslim friendly i.e. no pork served. And one of them is non-halal named El Cerdo (item 1).

1. El Cerdo, 🐖🐷

El Cerdo means pork in Spanish. It is a non-halal restaurant which specialises in home-cooked pork flavours from all over the world like Europe, the Caribbean & Mexico. This is one of the highly popular restaurant on Changkat Bukit Bintang KL for its perfected pork cooking that took 9 years in the making. The Chef Werner Kuhn has spent days & nights nurturing his baby & now has grown to become the best porky pork restaurant KL has to offer.

SiennyLovesDrawing has enjoyed the grilled pork shoulder steak so much! It is marinated for 48 hours in pprika, herbs, onions, garlic & served with Jalapeno & smoked paprika sauce.

She is planning to return to El Cerdo for the famous “Cochinillo Al Estilo Segoviano” which a roasted suckling pig served on a chopping board (available in whole/ half piglet). She was told that it is a tradition to knock the serving board for 3 times with a plate, then to chop the pig into 3 parts. After that, to make a wish & break the plate itslef into a wooden pail for good luck! This is an interesting tradition that Sienn yLovesDrawing got attracted to it & wanna be back to El Cerdo to experience it herself 😁

So, this definitely a must visit for your non-Muslims relatives or friends to enjoy a super delicious porky ride in KL!

 2. Opium KL,

One of the best asian restaurant in KL which established on 12th July 2014 to serve Asian delights & oriental cuisine with a twist. Its slogan ~ “Eat Drink Man Woman” ~ takes a more subtle approach to distinguish Opium KL as the must visit places to unwind oneself. Its concept is rounded off by featuring their creative cocktail bar that takes on classic recipes and transforming them into our own creations.

SiennyLovesDrawing really loves their decoration & dining in ambience apart from delicious food served. That’s for sure! 😍

3. Dining In The Dark KL,

SiennyLovesDrawing has enjoyed this the most! It was really an awesome 1st dining in complete darkness! She can’t even see her own fingers while dining! 😅

This is a restaurant in total darkness. Yes! A completely new sensory experience & the very first of its kind in Malaysia ~ DINING in the DARK KL!

Do remember that a dress code of smart to semi formal is required to enter this Dining In The Dark. Not rcommending to wear shorts, singlets and slippers, athletic wear, caps, hoodies etc. for this unique dining experience.

We are not suppose to bring in anything with us for this dining. We will be provided a locker to keep all your personal belonging, including phone before we enter to dining area. So, do let your phone 📱to enjoy its darkness off hours in the locker too while you enjoy yours  😆

Then, you will be guided by a “Darkness Expert”, we just have to relax, trust & enjoy (also wondering) the food served. The Darkness Experts whom will be serving you are consists of visually impaired & blind persons who lead their daily life without or with minimal light.

Special thank you to Mr. Rabha, Darkness Expert who guided SiennyLovesDrawing throughout her 1st awesome dining in complete darkness!🙂

So, no photos to share about it. Instead SiennyLovesDrawing did a quick sketch of her surprise menu served based on her sensory memory in complete darkness before her sleep that night in Swiss Garden Residence Suites 🤗

The surprise menu changes frequently based on the season of the ingredients used as well as their freshness. We can check on their menu status by informing our last date of visit, just in case we may return to it often with a different group of relatives or friends. All can be pre-arranged during our reservation with the friendly & helpful staff there 👍🏻

4. The Steakhouse KL,

This is a 40-seater steak joint along Changkat Bukit Bintang & adjacent to The Whisky Bar KL. The beef is imported from Australia & we can choose between the aged Black Angus & Grain Fed. All steaks orders are accompanied with your choice of sauce (béarnaise, black pepper, red wine etc.), your preferred style of potatoes (baked, mashed, wedges etc.), grilled vegetables, tomato salsa & onion rings. All cuts are grilled over charcoal, a style popularised by the Argentinians.

SiennyLovesDrawing strongly recommended to have your steak medium rare with red wine  🍷sauce! Unforgettable juicy steak dining here! 😋

5. The Black Forest KL,

This is an authentic German food hang-out is almost a hidden treasure among the crowded restaurants & music-blasting bars in Changkat Bukit Bintang, KL.

Guten Appetit! Pros!

After so meaty meals during this safari, SiennyLovesDrawing & friends were here to enjoy a digestive, named Altes Schwarzwalder Kirschwasser (AKA Cherry Schnapps). It supposed to drink a shot at once, non-stop. However, due to its 50% alcohol contain, SiennyLovesDrawing dare not, and just some sips to enjoy it. Else you may not be reading her full 3Es sharing here 😝

6. The Whisky Bar KL,

Currently, they have selection of about 600 labels from around the world. They also stock the rarest single malt & scotch as well as Irish whiskey, Japanese Whisky & American bourbon. The whisky connoisseur are all welcome to indulge with his/ her favorite & encourage the curious to explore their range with selected whisky flights.

SiennyLovesDrawing has enjoyed the Chivas Regal Extra served here while chit chatting with friends that night 😄

This was how the whisky being served beautifully

Really love their creative & classy set up with fruits, oranges & green apples!🍊🍏

Apart from whisky, there was a dessert named “A Happy Ending” served. The bonbons with magic liquid (Ohh…what’s that?), strawberry 🍓, banana 🍌, marshmallow & camembert cheese.

Forbidden City KL,

A vintage glam-lounge features daily (Tue – Sat) live music performances & ‘vinyl-only’ sessions. It offers an aesthetically refined & exclusive ambience where its guests can indulge in exquisite live performances. Soulful music elements with a distinct modern influence entice aural pleasures.

Their curated collection of craft cocktails 🍸 or mocktails definitely have satisfy many discerning palates & ears.

Really enjoyed the live performance, amazing music talents! Bravo!

Nagaba KL,

It is a multi-space venue with something for everyone. A wine lounge (Groud Floor), A club (1st Floor) & its rooftop Mojito bar.

SiennyLovesDrawing really enjoyed the rooftop space during her visit with the Lychee Mojito 😃

Don’t forget that Nagaba KL also famous with its juicy signature burger in town, a must try else definitely a regret!

During her AboutKL stay with Swiss Garden Hotel & Residence KL, SiennyLovesDrawing has really indulged with its awesome meals selections available within the hotel.

Flavors Restaurant of Swiss Garden Hotel KL

Impressive dessert selections available really made SiennyLovesDrawing happy everyday & stressless 😋

Hmm…hopefully not gaining too much weight though…Ha…Ha…Because it’s just so difficult to stop herself since she is botn with sweet tooth😛

The main dishes served in Flavors also impressive. SiennyLovesDrawing really likes the signature dish, Asam Pedas. It’s truly appetitive!

Sino Sense Restaurant of Swiss Garden Residences KL

It is a restaurant that offers an infusion of modern, classic HK & Szechuan cuisine menu. The food will be prepared & presented in unique clay pots that will tantalize your taste buds.

It is open daily for lunch from 12pm – 2.30pm & dinner from 6pm – 10.30pm.

That’s SiennyLovesDrawing who was preparing herself a wrap of the Peking Duck dish served & then being spotted & snapped by the event photographer. A special thanks for this nice shot!

The restaurant is with a table for 8pax comfy seating arrangement for dining in.

Enjoyable stay

Swiss Garden Hotel & Residence KL

It also offers for a long stay with their residence suites at its South & North Towers. They are 478 units of contemporary serviced apartments range from a-bedroom deluxe to 2-bedroom premier apartments replete with modern fittings & amenities.

SiennyLovesDrawing really enjoyed her great sleep during her stay.

The Sky Garden for sunset viewing

SiennyLovesDrawing loves to enjoy sunset view since young.

Because it is beautiful, and she believes a beautiful sunset signifies an end to a beautiful day. Then, looking forward to a next beginning.

The panorama shot of the KL view snapped from the Sky Garden

Oasia Suites KL

This is a serviced residence style hotel with its concept of

“When the workday is done, guests can look forward to returning to the hotel to refresh, refuel & recharge while taking in the lush views of the adjacent KL Forest Eco Park. As the city’s only surviving primarily tropical rianforest, the park is a welcome respite from the cosmopolitan metropolis that surrounds it, not unlike what Oasia Suites KL promises to be to those who seek to Journey Well. ”

SiennyLovesDrawing loves their swimming pool view of Malaysia KL Tower

The one-bedroom premier room is most preferred among business & leisure guests.

Their modern bathroom design offers a nice view too.

SiennyLovesDrawing recommends to opt for a higher level during your stay (Level 37 is the highest level of this hotel), do off the bathroom lighting & then romatically enjoy your shower with the city lighting.

It would be a cool bathing experience though.

An inspiring met in person with Dr. Jessie Chung

This sharing will consist of 2 parts, so do read till the end ya 🤗😉

SiennyLovesDrawing had a great day on 23 Aug because of 2 awesome ladies, Dr. Jessie Chung & Cik Fazlia Mohd Saleh.

1st awesome lady, Dr. Jessie Chung

SiennyLovesDrawing enjoys reading, especially bibliography of successful people.

Read about Dr. Jessie Chung,, a Sarawak-born international singer, actress cum entrepreneur many years ago about her personal transgender life sharing. And truly inspired by her positive thinking & strong determination to live life to fullness.

Dr. Jessie Chung has already taken on the Chinese market with great success. Now spreading her wings further, and she has launched her 1st English EP ‘There You Are’ recently. This EP will be Dr. Jessie’s launch pad for entry into the English market & it will feature 3 songs, “There You Are”, “Drive My Heart” & “Someplace Honest”.

Yeah! Dr. Jessie Chung has autographed on her EP for SiennyLovesDrawing 😃

“I would like to dedicate this EP to both my father & my husband” said Dr. Jessie Chung. “I want to tell everyone that it is important to cherish your loved ones while they are still alive & I hope that, through my music, I am able to touch the hearts of many & get this message across.”

“The filming of the music video (MV) for ‘There You Are‘ has been such a journey,” said Dr. Jessie. “We spent 2 days & nights, travelling on the road throughout Brisbane & Gold Coast to shoot the MV. It was very cold at around 10 degrees Celsius, but I was not allowed to wear a sweater to keep myself warm. The most unforgettable moment was the one at the beach.  As I was walking on the top of the cliff next to the ocean, I nearly fell down, but luckily, being trained with Wushu skills, I was able to maintain my balance.”

Yes, Dr. Jessie Chung is well trained with Wushu 😊👍🏻

She is an amazing lady!

This EP will be available on various digital platforms including iTunes, KK Box, Spotify, Deezer, Joox from 2 September 2016 onwards.

There You Are” can be purchased digitally on iTunes and KK Box, & the album will be available in all Natural Health Farm (NHF) outlets nationwide, So, do get a copy of this EP today or download it from iTunes.

2nd awesome lady, Cik Fazlia Mohd Saleh

After attended Dr. Jessie Chung’s 1st English EP launching, SiennyLovesDrawing was sitting down on a long bench at a nearby shopping mall to relax & tidy all photos snapped from the EP launch.

Guess what, she then forgot her goodies bag when she left. It consists of NHF supplements & books. During her journey home, she recalled it, but she almost reaches home. Initially thought that her bag must be gone as it was so easily accessible by any public people shopping in the mall & walked pass the long bench. But she wants to read the book written by Dr.Jessie Chung about her life diaries. Ohh…She wants her bag back! Actually the book is the cheapest item from the goodies bag. But it is the most valuable to SiennyLovesDrawing 😆

So, she quickly google searched for Funtopia Courtyard‘s contact details, which is the outlet right in front of the long bench that I rested at the mall. Called the outlet number & its staff, Cik Fazlia picked up her call. Yeah! Cik Fazlia was so helpful, she checked & kept my bag with her 1st when SiennyLovesDrawing travelled back to the mall to collect it then.

Yes, the bag with Dr. Jessie Chung’s book still around! SiennyLovesDrawing was so happy!

During her travel journey to the mall, SiennyLovesDrawing doodled a ‘Thank You’ message for Cik Fazlia & decided to share Dr. Jessie Chung’s book in Bahasa Malaysia language as an appreciation gift to her.

Hugos By Modestos 🍕🍝🍰🍻🍾

A special thanks to Hugos By Modestos,, SiennyLovesDrawing & her family members enjoyed our humour catch up & great dinner there recently 😃

The animated facial expersssions shown in this photo shared our happiness with all the tasty foods served 🤗

Hmm…you may be curious about what were the foods that we have enjoyed?

So, the food menu of the day…

Albondegas, Spanish starter, a plate of 6 balls, RM26
This starter served with lean lamb meat ball which slowly cooked in rich Roma tomato sauce.

SiennyLovesDrawing loves this juicy tasty meat ball.

When I bite on the meat ball, the lamb aroma & delicious tomato taste filled my taste bud. And at that moment, my 1st impression was, “Wow! So tasty!” Moreover, am a lamb fan! Ha…Ha…Really enjoyed this dish 😀

Chicken popcorn, western starter, a plate, RM23

This starter was a crunchy delight. It serves with a sweet spicy chilli sauce. As well as a fresh vegetable salads. My dad enjoyed it very much.

Tom Yum Kong, Thai, a bowl, RM23
This traditional style tom yum soup is not very spicy & sour. It’s just nice & delicious to enjoy. There are fresh prawns, mushrooms, vegetables, herbs etc. in the soup.

My uncle who always enjoy spicy foods & as a Thai food fan, he told that he likes this Tom Yum Kong! It is very tasty!

Fettuccine Al Salmone, Italian, a plate, RM34
My mum who never a pasta & Salmon person all these while, am shock that she actually enjoyed this smoke Salmon pasta very much served by Hugos By Modestos!

At 1st I was persuading my mum to have a try, but she refused to. But I still insisted & served a small portion on her plate. Guess what? Ended up my mum has happily finished the whole plate by herself! Ha…Ha…She told that this pasta so nicely cooked till she can’t seem to taste the strong Salmon taste.

So, I guess, if you are a pasta fan, you will definitely enjoy this delicious pasta 😍

Carre D’ Angello Alle Erbe, Italian main, a plate, RM75

Yeah! Am a lamb fan & really enjoyed the grilled lamb shoulders with rosemary & garlic. Love the tasty sauce served for this grilled lamb. Hmm…just that some portion served were not well grilled & a little hard.

Guess what! I actually forgot to snap a photo of my grilled lamb…reason?I jJust can’t wait to taste & enjoy it. Ha…Ha…after I finished enjoyed the tasty lamb, I just realised I forgot to snap a photo to share with all of you. Luckily my dad told that he has snapped a photo with his phone. Thanks dad! 😉

Nasi Goreng, Malaysian main, a plate, RM22
HugosByModestos is serving some local dishes such as fried rice with chicken & shrimp or minced beef or kampung style. The kampung style will serve with ikan bills. The fried rice dish will serve with 2 types of belacan sambals, small chilies with black soya sauce & green chillies for those who love spicy taste & fried fish crackers.

Napoletana, Italian, a plate of 8 slices, RM36

This freshly baked pizza consists of tomatoes, Morzarella, capers & anchovies. It is very crispy to bite, just that a little salty for my parents as old people generally don’t enjoy salty food.

Crostata di miele, Italian dessert, RM22

A home made apple pie & it serves with a scoop of vanilla ice cream & white cream. Hmm…Perhaps slightly over baked, the baked apple top was with a slight bitter taste. Just a little disappointment though…

Mojito, cocktail, a glass, RM26

This cocktail consists of white rum, brown sugar, mint leaves & soda. Hmm…personally I don’t really like mint taste, but I enjoyed this Mojito though.

As female, we need to be extra cautious whenever we ordered a cocktail. Reason being is generally cocktail tastes so good like a fruit drink, until you don’t realised you are drinking an alcoholic drink, till we got drunk unconsciously 😆

You can opt for non-alcoholic by requesting for Virgin Mojito. Then, they will serve you a glass without white rum. Nice service offering from the bar tender, bravo! 👍🏻
