It’s the 6️⃣th edition this WTC 2022 to bring together approximately 1K delegates from more than 60 countries to reconnect & reassess tourism’s recovery in the aftermath of the worldwide pandemic 🙌🏻💪🏻👍🏻

travel , art , quote

According to the UNWTO’s Policy Brief on Tourism & COVID-19, the crisis is an opportunity to rethink how tourism interacts with our societies, other economic sectors & our natural resources & ecosystems; to measure & manage it better; to ensure a fair distribution of its benefits; & to advance the transition towards a carbon neutral & resilient tourism economy

✨ ~ Tourism Futures Reimagined ~ ✨

With this theme, WTC 2022 aims to provide an interdisciplinary platform for policy makers, experts & world leaders in tourism to present & discuss the most recent innovations, trends, practical challenges & solutions for the future of tourism. Also to champion thought leadership on tourism futures & strategies driving tourism’s recovery & resilience in a post-pandemic world ğŸŒŽ

It features some 30 expert speakers comprising government policy makers, industry leaders & leading academicians, apart from UNWTO officials in championing thought leadership on tourism futures & strategies driving tourism’s recovery & resilience in a post-pandemic world. They include the State Minister, Ministry of Tourism Maldives 🇲🇻, Dr. Ahmed Salih; Regional General Manager, Tourism Australia 🇦🇺, Mr. Brent Anderson; Professor Emeritus, University of Wisconsin-Stout, USA, Prof. Jafar Jafari; Co-founder of Traveloka, Indonesia 🇮🇩, Mr. Albert; & representatives from some of the world’s most innovative tourism-related companies such as Skift, Tripadvisor, TUI Group & Intrepid Travel 👍🏻

It’s an inspiring addition to Malaysia’s 2022 Calendar of Events 🇲🇾🗓️ with a full return to in-person participation, in line with Malaysia’s reopening of international borders since 1 Apr 2022. LocalMalaysian experts also made an appearance on the exclusive WTC 2022 stage including Prof. Dr. Amran Hamzah of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia; Mr. HC Chan, CEO of Sunway Malls & Theme Parks; Ms. Lau Yin May, Group Chief Marketing & Customer Experience Officer, Malaysia Airlines; Mr. Yusno Yunos, CEO of Evenesis & 2️⃣ local Sabahans from Kota Kinabalu – Dr. Maklarin Lakim, Director of Sabah Parks & Ms. Jessica Yew, Founder & Director of Sticky Rice Travel

“This year’s conference is very significant for Sabah because Kota Kinabalu is playing host for the 2️⃣nd time after 12 years & undoubtedly, it is a clear testament to its fame as a major tourist destination 📍& a gateway for travellers visiting Sabah & Borneo. Kota Kinabalu is also 1️⃣ of the most attractive & popular destinations not just in Malaysia 🇲🇾 but in the Asia-Pacific region as a whole. When I came here in 2010 for the 1️⃣st time when Kota Kinabalu hosted the 2️⃣nd edition of the WTC, I was so impressed by its natural wonder & its unique culture & beauty with stunning tourism facilities that I made it a point to recommend 👍🏻 it to many friends in Asia including my fellow countrymen of Korea 🇰🇷, because I saw it as a very ideal destination to visit with one’s family & friends. I’m happy to report that many of them have taken me at my word & have come to experience the beauty of Kota Kinabalu.” Said Mr Harry Hwang, the Director, Regional Department For Asia & The Pacific, UNWTO in his opening remarks for WTC 2022

1️⃣ of the major highlights of the conference is the keynote presentation by distinguished speaker, Prof. Dato’ ChM. Dr. Mazlin Mokhtar of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network-Asia & Academy of Sciences Malaysia for the 1️⃣st time bring a scientist’s perspective to the WTC, particularly in advancing a more sustainable tourism recovery which embraces energy transition & carbon neutrality

Datuk Hajah Saraya Arbi, Secretary-General of MOTAC in her welcoming address has acknowledged the tremendous impact of the worldwide pandemic & multiple crises which continue to disrupt the tourism sector’s growth trajectory. “However, there is also a great window of opportunity 👍🏻 for us to rethink & reimagine tourism for the future which is more sustainable, inclusive & less susceptible to shocks,” She further explained

Despite challenging headwinds to the global economy in 2023 & beyond, experts have great expectations for the tourism sector, predicting continued pent-up demand alongside 🆕 growth opportunities & emerging niche markets arising from the pandemic. For instance, as tourism recovery gets underway, the boundaries between work, home, leisure & travel become increasingly blurred, requiring greater cross-collaboration 🤝🏻 between tourism & transport, health, security, cities & urban systems towards greater liveability & quality of life for both visitors & residents alike

“These are just some of the exciting new prospects that will be explored during this 2️⃣-day conference. Therefore, I hope the chosen theme of “Tourism Futures Reimagined” will inspire deep insights on the challenges, opportunities, trends and forecasts shaping the future of the industry,” Saraya concluded

SiennyLovesDrawing had a golden chance to have a chat with Dr Anil 👨🏽‍💼, the Chairman of YKOA, who is passionate to continue his late dad legacy as one of the 1st few strong advocate of indigenous heritage ie. Must have indigenous heritage as a permanent place in Malaysia heritage. Dr Anil has reminded all about each own root, he said that “I always remember my root & I’m educate my kid as well”. Dr Anil actually already started to involve his 5️⃣ years old son 🧒🏻 in preserving indigenous heritage by getting him as a Master to present the welcome bead necklace named Kabo to each of the guests of honoured at this event, absolutely a great education way practiced 👏🏻👍🏻 Dr Anil also shared that he is planning a Medical camp trip in Nov/ Dec 2022 as part of his continuous efforts to build a medical framework to address the medical needs & supports for the elderly Kelabits which approximately 40% of this tribe communities. If SiennyLovesDrawing is being invited to be part of this medical camp, she will then share more about it

Datin Pearl Masna 🧑🏻‍🦳, the Chairman of this event organising committee was one of the 1️⃣st Kelabits who venture out of Bario & participate actively in promoting Sarawak culture & dance under the Sarawak State Government. With many accolades in charity work, she joined this foundation to help promote indigenous people as she herself understands the need to raise awareness of the various beautiful cultures & diversity of Malaysians

At the end of the event, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 also had a lovely chance to have a chat with Datin & she got inspired by her proud vibe of being a Kelabits herself. Datin has expressed her happiness to see this event has materialised & felt grateful of the supports received. Datin told that if without continuous initiatives & activities to promote the heritage & cultures of Kelabits, she foresees it may lost in the future for the next generations

Datin also shared some of her heritage sustainability efforts are getting some volunteers to teach them the traditional Kelabits dances & beading skills, also invited the older Kelabits communities to share  their experiences & skills in audio format, also trying her best to have Kelabits performances to be presented in various states within Malaysia 🇲🇾 During the lockdown, Dating occupied herself by beading to stipulate her brain 🧠 & made lots of pearl for charity purposes with the Kelabits beading

She kept welcoming all to visit Bario, Sarawak especially not to miss the Bario Food Festival aka Pesta Nukenen that usually happening in the last weekend of July annually 🤗💕 Ohh ya..Datin has taught SiennyLovesDrawing some additional Kelabits language, really a pleasant friendly met & catch up with Datin 💕

  • Tepu means Grandma

Malaysia’s diverse races & cultures makes it beautiful & culturally diverse. By highlighting the mysterious indigenous folks adds flair & depth to Malaysia’s 🇲🇾 inclusivity & diversity, yes ✅, truly making an impact to promoting Malaysia Tourism 👍🏻

Yeah‼️ The event continues with amazing Kelabits dance & music performances, enjoy max 👏🏻👍🏻

✅ Arang Mekasor (Welcoming Long Dance)

Guess what ❓⁉️
SiennyLovesDrawing actually practiced this dance before during her primary school ğŸ«ğŸŽ’ in her school performance. While watched this dance performance again, it recalled her childhood time with love ❤️ of the Malaysian heritage & culture
✅ Sape Music Presentation
~ SAPEH aka sape, sampet or sampeh, in whichever way it is spelt, this stringed instrument of Sarawak’s Orang Ulu is primordial in essence. When plucked & strummed, it eludes a haunting tune, so divine & sacred, that those who dance to its music convulse into a trance
The home grown musical instrument of Central Borneo’s upriver folks was once played to lend music during ritualistic ceremonies in the aboriginal enclaves of the long houses. However, over the wheels of time, the sapeh morphed in status & in its role
Mr Warten Anak Dikan 🙋🏽‍♂️, 29 years old is from Kuching Sarawak is 1️⃣ of the Sape player at Kg Budaya, Sarawak since 2014. He was performed the traditional tune & contemporary tune during this event
The dream of the Kelabits is to have every boy to own a Sape so that sape crafting culture of Kelabits will not disappeared in the future
✅ Arang Iyap (Fishing Dance)
~ It’s interesting to observe this dance with the usage of fishing net in their dance moves & gestures. Truly into the fishing ğŸŽ£ time at the Bario villages
✅ Arang Sebulang (Solo Dance by a Lady)
~ This dance is traditionally using hornbills feather 🪶 as accessories on hand for beautiful dance moves & gestures. However, as a sustainability efforts, Kelabits is now using the Turkey feather 🦃🪶 or the duck 🦆🪶 feather as replacement to Hornbills feather. SiennyLovesDrawing is impressed & touched by this creative way of conserve & preserve for sustainability to keep the cultures live , bravo 👏🏻👍🏻
✅ Arang Delaih (Warrior Dance by a Gentleman)
~ During the event, this dance was joint together with Arang Sebulang, as a couple dance performance to the audiences
✅ Arang Rinuh (Winnowing Paddy Dance)
~ It’s interesting to observe this dance with the usage of weaved rotan rice tapis tool in their dance moves & gestures. Truly into the paddy 🌾🌾 farming time at the Bario villages
✅ Upun Aluh (Bamboo Dance)
~ If you’re visiting this event, you will get to observe this famous & enjoyable dance, perhaps the friendly Kelabits will invite you to join them on stage too

So, you may curious who are Kelabits❓⁉️

Kelabits ethnic is 1️⃣ of Malaysia’s smallest & most secluded indigenous tribes. The Kelabits are the indigenous Dayaks of the Bario highlands. Bario is well known for its Bario fragrance rice 🌾🍚, sweet pineapple 🍍, cinnamon, salt, beads & soap. While the Bario highlands’ cold weather & naturehiking trails are the main attraction to promote it for Malaysia tourism

This 2️⃣-day event in KL aims to display & promote their colorful culture & heritage. Also to highlight Bario & Sarawak as a tourist destination in Malaysia 🇲🇾 with the bold displays of the mist-soaked beautiful highlands, villages & holiday homes that traverse it

The Kelabits bring a culture that has been long secluded high in the mountain ⛰️ tops, their ornate dances tell a story of the natural fauna 🌳🌱🌿 cohabitating with their village while their warrior shows depict the fierce battles, they once faced displaying bravado & prowess. Not to forget their Sape instruments soothes all & cleanses the soul as the string instrument resonates through the single bole of white wood 🪵

The Kelabits are a close-knit community, noted for their cheerful, industrious & refined nature & generous hospitality. Family life & friendships are highly valued in their society. They hail from Bario in Northeast Sarawak, Malaysia 🇲🇾 Lying 1K meters above sea level in the remote Kelabit Highlands ⛰️🌳🌳,  accessible only by air transport ✈️ & a windy mud road. 16 Kelabit villages are located within this highland tableland, while 4 other villages are located in the lower parts along the tributaries of the Baram River ğŸžï¸

From being animist they adopted Christianity ⛪✝️ in the 1940’s & still retain a lot of colorful cultures, dances & crafts honed from many years of tradition ~ The official Rurum Kelabit dancers. The Kelabits’ ancestors were traditionally farmers & headhunters. At present, they live a more progressive life as some already migrated to urban areas for work & further study
Sarawak is the only 1️⃣ state in Malaysia that SiennyLovesDrawing yet to travel & visit it
Definitely she will be there 1️⃣ day to explore the beautiful vibrant & unique indigenous ethnic groups near future, perhaps to start with Kelabits heritage & culture discovery at Bario, Miri 👩🏻💕🇲🇾
So, what are you waiting for❓⁉️

Places To Visit & Things To Do

Kampung Tasek, Pengkalan Hulu

It’s a Siamese village where approximately 90% residents here are Siamese, while 5% Chinese & 5% Indian

This village very near to Thailand 🇹🇭 border to arrive at Betong city of Thailand, a Thai food paradise ya 😋👍🏻

Durian Orchards, Kampung Tasek

It’s a huge area with different local owners of durian orchards here. Hmm… It’s kind of special to visit a durian orchard while not the durian season, so a different way to appreciate the greenery of durian trees here. The durian varieties here are Musang King & Blackthorn in season annually ~ July & August. She understands that the gross profit of kampung durian approximately RM500/ tree vs the gross profit of Musang King approximately RM2k/tree. So, priority to plant Musang King durian trees here with aims to increase ⬆️ the community living in this Kampung Tasek

SiennyLovesDrawing has learnt that the durian trees will get disease equivalent to cancer if not take care properly during her visit here

It would be great 👍🏻 excitements to revisit a huge 500 acres (⬆️ acre approximately 33 trees) orchard owned by Bina Terra Sdn Bhd to enjoy the durian fruits here the coming durian season of July to Aug annually. According to Mr Ken Leong of Bina Terra Sdn Bhd, it took 4 to 5 years to start for plantation. Its weather cooling especially at night here, it’s suitable for durian plantation. There are 5 zones ie. Zones A to E for scheduling of durian plantation, however with same harvesting time & year 2022 is the 1st year of fruit production. It’s for local supplies & international market for durian exporting market ie. China 🇨🇳, Singapore 🇸🇬 , Thailand 🇹🇭 etc. In long term planning of building a process durian factory 🏭 & a village homestay here as explained by Mr Ken

Also visited a durian processing factory that actually then exported the durian fruits to overseas. It’s amazingly learnt that freeze technology actually can keep the freshness of the local fruits, especially when her travel mate shown to SiennyLovesDrawing a frozen mangosteen 🤩😋👍🏻 Advanced technology in food industry adopted here. All with vacuum packed as the oxygen from the air will make the durian sour tastes for export market

Do contact Majlis Perbandaran Pengkalan Hulu (Details below) for arrangements if you wish to have a group tour visiting ya

Lastly, we stopped by Tasik Ceria Agro Farm (It’s 9️⃣ acres & already more than 30 years) which is a famous spot during the durian seasons (Late May to late July) to enjoy fresh durian Musang King, D24, Blackthorn etc. under the tree 🌳🌳 or with a tent. Visitors can walk in to enjoy durian eating with no min headcount & just pay what you have eaten according to market price. It also provides packages here with durian feast & local Thai village dishes by local chefs for a group package of at least 20pax, advance booking is required. The founder, Mr Ooi has informed that the durian Blackthorn here won awards from the Jabatan Pertanian Hulu Perak with its durian colour, taste, creamy & stickyness

Istana Singgah Raja Reman, Pengkalan Hulu

It’s a wooden palace with more than 💯 years ago of an ancient kingdom called the Kingdom of Reman or Kingdom of Rahman (1810 to 1920), 1️⃣ of the 7️⃣ regions of Pattani Kingdom. This palace was also used as a stopover place for the descendants of King Reman to visit his conquered colonies in the northern region

However, on 16 July 1909, the surrender of Reman District to the state of Perak took place at Kroh (NKA Pengkalan Hulu) as a result of the intervention of the Siamese & British Governments. Read more about Kingdom of Reman via 🌐 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Reman

This is the 1️⃣st time SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 actually visited a wooden palace 👑

This wooden palace is now managed by the 7️⃣the generation of Tengku Putra as a gallery, the only treasure from King Reman that left for his descendants. From her recent visit, she understands that some of the valuable items that are the treasures of the family of King Reman’s descendants have been taken by their relatives & descendants who live all over Malaysia & some in Thailand to keep as souvenirs

According to the gallery management, entrance is currently 🆓, however admission fee may apply in the future. So, quick quick plan your gallery visit whenever you’re at Pengkalan Hulu ya 😁

Malaysia-Thailand Border Stone 1968 Kroh ~ Betong Tragedy Memorial Site

It’s important to remember the services of the heroes who died defending the country from the enemy once upon a time. This bloody incident occurred on 20 July 1979, when a convoy transporting patients from Baling to Kroh was ambushed by a group of communist terrorists. The convoy that was attacked consisted of an ambulance, a military truck and two military Land Rover vehicles. The communist attack left three soldiers and two civilians dead
This memorial site was built to commemorate the communist terrorist ambush in Kroh NKA Pengkalan Hulu in year 1979 to remember & inspire the best kept in the folds of history

Rumah Ayah An Rusa & Kelulut 🦌🐝

Visitors can enjoy light meals with tame friendly deers 🦌🦌(Themoressis deer from Nusantara Indonesia 🇮🇩) surrounding you here with a fee, it’s an exciting experience, SiennyLovesDrawing kept lol 😆 when the deer 🦌🦌 kiss her hand to get the organic pallets 😂🤣😄 Ha…Ha…Ha…

Each of the deers here with a name given by the founder, Ms Herlyza ‘s mum eg. A 3️⃣ years old deer named Rama Rama. Each can be recognized from the behaviors of each deer 🦌 When started, initially with 2️⃣ female deers, then now with 11 female deers & 3️⃣ male deers

Some of the interesting facts that she has learnt during her visit are;

  • Female deer needs to have heart or love 💕 the male deer 🦌 1st, to release hormones to attract the male deer 🦌, then only the deer breeding happens. Baby deer max with 2️⃣ deer each time ie. Twin babies deer
  • Pregnant deer until 7️⃣ months still unable to tell from appearance, only can tell a little fat from its normal size
  • A week before give birth, the breasts of the female deer will be swollen

There is a small garden here with stingless bees (Kelulut Itama) honey 🍯 available ✅ for tasting & purchase

Do check out her happy visit with exciting deer feeding 🦌😆 & honey tasting 🍯🐝😋👍🏻 TikTok clip captured via 📹🌐

The current Takong Lake Park was developed by Majlis Daerah Pengkalan Hulu (MDPH) as a multi -huge center including decorated rafts, fishing ğŸŽ£ festivals & various events with popularity among Siamese people from Southern Thailand 🇹🇭

This rock garden ⛰️🪨 aims to celebrate Malaysia’s rich geological heritage, to promote the world of Geoscience & as an iconic landmark for an education tourism, a physical & digital information hub, an active learning medium in curriculum, as well as learning competition platform equipped with digital library, Virtual Reality (VR) & Augmented Reality (AR) with industrial network in place

It’s built on the UTP lake side 2️⃣ with a design of ~ Travel Back In Time ~ of 5️⃣ specific thematic geological period & major focal area with each showcasing the diversity of the rocks ⛰️🪨 & geological formation respectively,

  1. Early Earth ~ Evolution of the Earth 🌍
  2. Paleozoic ~ Early life form of the Earth 🌍
  3. Mesozoic ~ With life size replica of dinosaurs 🦖🦕 & Mammoth 🦣
  4. Cenozoic ~ Rise of Man
  5. Special section for Oil & Gas (O&G) during Cenozoic ~ The creation of Malaysia ‘s 🇲🇾 petroleum system, with O&G activities & sedimentary rock types

Currently, UTP is working on to collect & then demonstrate each state rocks from different time scales in Malaysia 🇲🇾 They are open for sponsorship whether cash or in kind, do check out more via 🌐 if you’re with interest to contribute in building this rock garden 🪨⛰️
In the future, the visitors can choose whether to start to tour this rock garden whether from the earliest time or vice versa from its entrance ie. Zones labelled in Yellow 💛 , Orange 🧡, Blue 💙, Purple 💜 etc. The bridges 🌉🌉 are used to distinguish each of the different thematic periods

Still in progress to install signboards & explanation QR codes for the visitors to scan & explore more historical & geological info digitally moving forward

UTP is planning to soft launch this rock 🪨⛰️ garden in mid Dec 2022, yeah 😃👍🏻

(6) UTP Trail

In the future, there will be a UTP trail for all visitors to explore the nature hidden gems & some endangered flora & fauna species in its forest 🌳🌳 This nature trail idea was inspired & mooted from the Imbak Canyon visit by the management team

UTP campus compound is with 7️⃣ lakes from the mining old days & with a few remaining freshwater swap forest 🌳🌳 in the district of Kinta Tengah, Perak 🇲🇾 It contains high diversity in flora 🌿🌱🌳 & UTP has working together with FRIM on rehabilitation process on these lands with lakes
Not just that, in 2013, UTP has engaged with FRIM to protect 4️⃣ endangered tree 🌳🌳 species namely Vatica Flavida (Resak Padi), Shorea Hemsleyana (Cengal Pasir Daun Besar), Shorea Macrantha (Kepong Hantu) & Aquilaria Malaccensis (Karas) that have been touted as Malaysia’s 🇲🇾 heritage. It’s now an important conservation area for these threatened Dipterocarpaceae

There are on going efforts to reserve these endangered species trees 🌳🌳 with proper labels to avoid them being cut for future campus development

UTP trail is with sponsorship from Yayasan PETRONAS to invest in building the board walk that is friendly for both senior citizens & kids as an educational trail with the displays of information boards

Suggestions from the media members that for UTP to have parents & kids to visit, also to work with MNS Society, as well as collaborate with nature guides etc. on this UTP Trail once it’s ready to open to public then

So, when will be your trip to travel & visit this beautiful UTP campus to feel young as a university students ğŸ‘©ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ“ğŸ§‘ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ“ğŸ‘¨ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ“ğŸ˜ƒğŸ˜â“â‰ï¸

Kwong Sup Ikan

She has enjoyed a big bowl of bitter gourd soup vermicelli with a mix of both fresh fish & fried fish slices as lunch here

The fresh fish slice is tasty to enjoy with a sense of fresh sweetness, while she is not to enjoy the fried fish slice, she prefers more dried fried, as she doesn’t really like the taste of flour coated on the fish slice. Just her own tasting preference ya ☺️

The bitter gourd soup base is slightly plain to her taste buds & not bitter. She would have preferred a thicker bitter taste soup base. She has tried a sip of the tomatoes soup 🍅🍲 base from her travel mate’s bowl, it tastes better as compared to bitter gourd

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 is a proud Anak Malaysia 💕🇲🇾💗 & always love to share about her home country here, this time she would like to share her recent trip to Lenggong, Perak with Tourism Malaysia 🇲🇾

Ohh yes ✅👍🏻 Lenggong Valley of Perak, Malaysia 🇲🇾 was a little-known backwater town, then with famous news 📰 of Perak Man (Born with congenital deformity) discovery in Gua Gunung Runtuh ie. Also listed as Lenggong Geopark since Dec 2021 👏🏻👍🏻

Lenggong UNESCO Caves Expedition

It was a guided caving expedition by representatives of Lenggong Geopark Expert & National Heritage Depertment to conquer the Gua Kajang, Gua Memerang, Gua Asar, Gua Ngaum, Gua Puteri, Gua Kubah, Gua Gelap & trace back its glory back to the stone age. These caves are the 1️⃣st excavation sites in Malaysia 🇲🇾 in the year 1917 👍🏻🤩

Gua Kajang is 🔟mins drive 🚗 from Gua Gunung Runtuh where 2️⃣ female skeletons were found at the entrance of this cave. 1️⃣ of several caves in Bukit Kepala Gajah limestone massif, also was the site of the 1️⃣st cave archaeological excavation in Malaysia 🇲🇾 back in 1917, fragments of pottery, stone tools & food residues were uncovered here. The pottery discovered here claimed to be the oldest recorded pottery in Malaysia 🇲🇾 for the production & usage of pottery

This is an interesting cave with a unique tunnel-like structure together with fascinating stalagmites & stalactites. It offers instagrammable spots to capture lovely OOTDs with a ❓ & ♥️ shapes, amazing 😍🤩

Gua Memerang with its name that a memerang aka otter looking natural formed within this cave
Gua Asar with its name from the Muslim prayer Azan Asar was played when this cave was discovered
Gua Ngaum was 1️⃣st site discovered in 1990 by a team from University Science Malaysia. It was named ‘ngaum’ after a tiger 🐯🐅 was heard roaring outside the mouth of the cave soon after it was discovered. Food remains, stone tools & potsherd ie. fragments of broken pottery were the evidence of human habitation around 7K years ago, wow 😲
Gua Puteri is a slightly challenging cave to reach, all have to climb & hold the ropes to avoid falling down. It offers interesting natural limestone formations inside it, SiennyLovesDrawing has observed the sculptures of a princess, a Malaysia map 🗺️ & a frog 🐸 during her recent visit
Gua Kubah is with windy 🌬️ moments to walk in, a very spacious cave comparatively
Gua Gelap is the cave that you can see the fruit bat 🦇 here, you will smell their poo 💩 once you step in this cave. Guess what❓⁉️ Their 💩 makes great 👍🏻 fertilizer for plants

Lenggong Valley Tour

It was a guided tour by the representatives of Lenggong Geopark Expert & National Heritage Depertment, as well as Mineral Department

Bailey Bridge 🌉 at Kampung Belum Baru was an instant yet strong wooden bridge built by the Squadron Army in 3️⃣ days which is part of the main road that is used daily, when you’re here you will sure observe the heavy vehicles to/ from this bridge 🌉 with goods transporting

Hmm…So shy to share that SiennyLovesDrawing accidentally fell down from this bridge 🌉😂 while snapped photos, luckily just her right leg 🦵, if both her legs, she will be dropped to Sungai Perak & she doesn’t know how to swim 🏊🏻‍♀️😰😱 Thanks God, she was safe with a memorable bruises moment during this trip 😂

LoL 😆, this was the photo & the broken hole 🕳️ as you observed behind her in this photo was how her right leg 🦵 got fell down. Moral of the story is we as visitors & travellers need to be careful with our surroundings while busy taking photos or videos. During dinner on that night, she had a chat with the Majlis Daerah Lenggong team about her incident & she was told that they have submitted requests to the Jabatan Kerja Raya to continuously repair & maintenance this bridge 🌉, some of the maintenance work already on going, just that finding suitable wood to replace the broken parts of this bridge 🌉 take time as not easy to find the equivalent wood quality

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 greatly appreciates the actions taken to ensure the locals & visitors’ safety at this heritage bridge moving forward 🙌🏻👍🏻
Telaga Biru is a rare geopark site that features natural occurrences from the ground that is said to have health benefits for skin disease & anti aging. It’s recommended that to cook this well water 1️⃣st before consume it ya

Luat Bridge 🌉 is a scenic & panoramic view of 2️⃣ majestic range, Titiwangsa & Bintang Hijau. Get a glimpse of Bukit Bunuh, a site of a meteorite impact, read more Malaysia’s national language via 🌐 https://ms.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bukit_Bunuh
