As the progressive platform dedicated to art, technology & sustainability, the iNYALA 2022 is brought together by an interdisciplinary group of industry professionals, including 🆕 media artists, music composers, architects as well as audio-visual, communications and creative specialists, in collaboration with the local students from Universiti Malaya, DASEIN Academy of Art, Multimedia University & Han Chiang University College of Communication. In addition to the entries submitted by the students, the exhibition will feature works from both international & local artists such as Kaoru Tanaka, FabU & Jun Ong. A 1️⃣-minute unique multimedia show curated by Kaoru Tanaka, FabU and LIE, involving all 17 art installations accompanied by sensuous sound, will be staged at the start of every hour to present an audio-visual experience which conveys the message of unlocking a world of beautiful possibilities when all interlinked SDGs are met

“This year’s theme serves as the holding space for our audiences to pause and reflect on the development & progress our country undertook, particularly on SDGs, as we emerge from the pandemic. I hope the whole 🆕 format of iNYALA which dives into generative art will inspire dialogue and enable Malaysians 🇲🇾🧑🏻‍🤝‍🧑🏻👭🏻👬🏻👫🏻 to imagine different ways of thinking & doing to transform the world we live in,” commented Mr Helios Loo, Founder of iNYALA 👨🏻‍💼

ENTER • EXPLORE • EXPERIENCE THE WORLD OF CUBES

Spanning over 3,392 sqf, the iNYALA 2022 🆕 media art exhibition brings to life the idea of an immersive world 🌎 made of technicolour cubes, symmetrical shapes & boundless digital artworks. The show consists of 17 cube installations with live media art mapped onto the digital canvases, creating a vivid field of visual spectacle overlapped with imaginative soundtracks curated by award-winning music 🎖️🎵🎶 production company ~ Inner Voices Productions, allowing the patrons to fully immerse themselves with real-life data which reveals the past and present of pressing topics in Malaysia 🇲🇾

.

DIGITAL ARTWORKS BY THE ARTISTS

● “GLOWING PLANTS” by Kaoru Tanaka. SDG Goal 12 Responsible Consumption & Production. Beautiful & delicate plants always heal and light us up. Just as plants are generated by the sun 🌞, carbon dioxide & water 💦, so are the things that humans produce. This digital artwork seeks to reflect & reimagine how human production in the face of impending climate change can transform through methods eg. sustainable manufacturing which utilises natural materials as part of the possible solution

“AMORPHOUS” by Tan Sher Lynn, FabU. SDG Goal 17 Partnerships For The Goals. Fascinated by the grotesque yet strangely beautiful aesthetics of the microbes, the installation is an attempt at recreating these natural phenomena digitally. Perhaps we humans can learn from the behaviours of these minute organisms that resemble biological computers & how they influence each other, forming efficient networks similar to that of mathematically generated patterns. By making the invisible visible, we could engage in a deeper understanding of our relationship with microbes & the communities around us

● “VIVID DREAMS” by LIE. SDG Goal 17 Partnerships For The Goals. Goals without action are just dreams. More than just a statement, SDG is a continuous effort to achieve a better & sustainable future. We bring the statement to life by recreating the icons of the Sustainable Development Goals in the form of abstract motions. The rhythmic movements of the lights represent an ongoing journey to keep moving toward the goals & continuity of the dream that everyone can achieve in solidarity for a sustainable future

● “TILL THE GREENS ARE GONE” by Si Ying. SDG Goal 15 Life on Land. This artwork is created to address the 15th SDG – Life on Land. It showcases a visual passage of colours & shapes from the outskirts to the city centre 🌇🌆 Along the passage, there will be a gradual transition of scenery from the lively organic greens to the grey hard dead tones of the high-rises. The colour data are collected from pictures of deforestation & construction work taken in Kuala Lumpur & Selangor

● “PIXELS” by Jun Ong: Jun designed the artwork installation & spatial experience of iNYALA 2022. The installation is itself an object & also a dynamic framework. Using a modular system, the framework made from organic cardboard together with the digital art installations are reimagined into a meandering pixelscape that allows storytelling & data to be visualized through different scales & dimensions. From afar, the glowing installation can resemble a geological terrain while up-close reminds one of the dynamic façades of cities. The entire spine anchors itself on the ground through a large, spatialized pixel that allows visitors to experience the insides of a pixel

SiennyLovesDrawing as a go green & sustainability supporter truly impressed with how art creative & innovation applies on having sustainable in mind. All the cardboards used with no print on it so all can be recycled after the exhibition ♻️✅👍🏻

Staying true to its mission to make sustainability core to artmaking practices, iNYALA 2022 has adopted innovative approaches to prioritise environmentally-friendly 💚 exhibition design & construction with 75% of the materials used for the show being organic, refurbished & recycle-able ♻️✅ in a bid to avoid single-use disposables, reduce wastage & overall carbon footprint

This art exhibition is being created out of 2️⃣ main components ie. The LED panels & cardboard where the largest cube installation is made with more than 300 used LED modules collected across the city while the latter is a humble, non-chemically treated material made from paper pulp

The iNYALA 2022 is spearheaded by Helio Media, in collaboration 🤝🏻 with Filamen. It’s supported by Tourism Malaysia & Yayasan Sime Darby. This latest art exhibition is made possible by Fahrenheit88, Co-labs Coworking, NovaStar, Nextrend, De Carton, LIE Design, Inner Voices Productions, Jun Ong & RUBIX

DIGITAL ARTWORKS BY THE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

●  “CarbonBubbles” by Iwani Binti Muhammad Izhan of Multimedia University. SDG Goal 13 Climate Action. As Malaysia 🇲🇾 continues to be a car-based society 🚗🚘, this artwork illustrates the increasing amount of global greenhouse gas emissions from private transportation. Different cars are shown to be affected & affecting others as emissions continue to rise & pollute our environment

“Not a Dream” by Group MMUTB of Multimedia University (Muhammad Khuzairi Bin Mohamad, Teh Poh Leng, Lena, Tang Efaye, Ray Lee Zhe Yen & Akiff Rahman). SDG Goal 06 Clean Water & Sanitation. Animating the long process of dirty to clean water 💦, the artwork unpacks issues related to water quality, affordable access to drinking water & how it is affected by insufficient sources of clean water & poor water-related ecosystems

55100/221126″ by Blankmalaysia of University Malaya. SDG Goal 08 Decent Work & Economic Growth & Goal 13 Climate Action. 55100/221126 is the continuation of Blankmalaysia’s series of digital work in 2022 that explores the fluctuating urban landscape, past/future memorial sites & the costs of development to the environment & the bodies involved in it. Malaysia 🇲🇾, being a postcolonial country, has been transformed by waves of migrants since the 19th century. Today, Malaysia’s commitment to Agenda 2030 for sustainable development seeks to promote economic growth with social inclusion & environmental sustainability promises a 🆕 era of transformation. Although the data shows GDP growth, the emissions caused by rapid development continue to rise.  This artwork hopes to create public discourse on the cost of economic growth at the expense of migrant bodies & our ecology through the juxtaposition of archival images & personal field work of present developments/ forgotten spaces

“1 Movement 0 Execution” by Ammar Hazman Bin Rosli of Multimedia University. SDG Goal 13 Climate Action. The artwork will explore modern natural disasters that have resulted from man-made consequences & the action that people took as a result of the event. As climate mitigation has become an increasing concern in the face of climate change, the artwork hopes to provoke thought on what can be done before it is too late

The Tower of Perfidy” by Nur Farahhani Azwa Binti Rosli of Multimedia University. SDG Goal 16 Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions. Malaysia 🇲🇾 is a country at a crossroads, plagued by bribery & corruption. This artwork focuses on exploring how the country can achieve peace & justice in the aftermath of 1️⃣ of the biggest corruption scandals in the world 🌎

“TemPixel” by Rufiyan Bin Ramli of Multimedia University. SDG Goal 13 Climate Action. With temperature mapping, this artwork explores rising temperatures recorded in Malaysia from 1991 to 2020 to demonstrate how our climate conditions have changed overtime. Thus, leading to the question: where do we go from here as our cities get hotter and development intensifies the effects of climate change❓⁉️

“Heat Escape” by Group One Shot Production (Tey Yun Nee, Chin Jia Wei, Ting Ee Vern & Yeong Ke Xin) of Dasein Academy of Art. SDG Goal 13 Climate Action. Heat Escape uses anamorphic illusion (requiring the audience to stand in a specific distance for best viewing) & supportive motion on other sides on a cube screen. Based on audio-visual data of man-made disasters, Heat Escape transports us to the disaster scene for the audience to reflect on where our planet will head next. The conceptual sphere in an anamorphic view symbolises our planet earth while the changing shapes & elements on it represent man-made hazards – Deforestation, Air Pollution & Water Pollution, that ultimately causes global warming. As our plane finds its way to recover and humans continue the exploitation, the loop will never end, and the extinction of our planet & human beings will be inevitable

“Heart in a Box”by Irfan Jamil of Multimedia University. SDG Goal 03 Good Health & Well-being. Heart in a Box is a 3D-generative art simulation based on data by The Oxford Martin School, on the increase in heart disease and cardiovascular problems within the global population from the year 2010. Creating a simulation of a heartbeat going at a healthy rate of 80 bpm (beats per minute), Heart in a Box aims to provide a visual representation of how it is like to live with cardio-vascular diseases

“The Mar Effect” by Sadthna Sargamm Sathi of Educational Institution: Multimedia University. SDG Goal 13 Climate Action. The global COVID-19 pandemic around the globe 🌎 drastically decreased air pollution & greenhouse gas emissions but at the same time also increased demand on single-use plastics & overburdened waste management systems. This artwork is based on how the pandemic has changed our lives & the damages the earth is facing

“Good Health & Well-Being” by Group Undefined Production (Tan Han Yang, Jason Seik Ping Sheng, Khor Yong Aun, Eugene Yip Tic Chun, Daniel Tan Wee Cheng & Rachel Khoo Rui Xin) of Han Chiang University College of Communication. SDG Goal 03 Good Health and Well-being. This artwork looks into aspects of the Malaysian healthcare system, the issues & improvements that could be made. The sub-topics chosen are Universal Access to Sexual & Reproductive Care, Family Planning & Education, Fight Communicable Disease, Suicide Mortality, Prevalence of Tobacco Use, Mortality Rate From Unsafe Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH). With the Malaysian healthcare system being put under pressure during the pandemic, this artwork invites the audience to reflect on how we had to navigate our health processes & how we progress❓⁉️

“Zero Hunger” by Group Artistic Gang (Tan Sun Ying, P’ng Soak Nee & Yeap Quah Chin Xuan) of Han Chiang University College of Communication. SDG Goal 02 Zero Hunger. Malaysia 🇲🇾 as a developing nation is still suffering from food insecurity, childhood stunting & malnutrition. This artwork traverses the severity of the issue & hopes to inspire us to do our part in improving the wellbeing & health of our nation’s future

“Poverty Tripped by Theeran Rajamokan of Multimedia University. SDG Goal 01 No Poverty. The generative artwork explores regions still left behind in extreme poverty. Using data from World Population Living In Extreme Poverty from 1990-2019, the artwork invites us to reflect on those left behind during the pre-pandemic world and how it resulted in inequality within & between countries when the COVID-19 pandemic hit

The iNYALA 2022 supports the SDGs defined by the United Nations General Assembly (UN-GA). The SDGs are a comprehensive set of goals to end poverty, protect our planet & improve the lives & prospects of the global population, now & into the future

iNYALA is a progressive platform that seeks to inspire possibilities & create 🆕 experiences through media art & digital technologies. It continues from its 1️⃣st exhibition in 2019 , also emphasized on sustainability 👍🏻

WATER: A Musical Presented by Somerset Music & Chin San Sooi

Do you all recall SiennyLovesDrawing’s earlier sharing 👩🏻👩🏻‍💻✍🏻 here about Raising Conservation Awareness with Water 💦 : A Musical 🎵🎶🎼 presented by Somerset Music & Mr Chin San Sooi from her media attendance at its press launch earlier somewhere in Aug❓⁉️

You may read her earlier full story via 🌐  https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/09/05/raising-conservation-awareness-with-water-a-musical/

This musical 🎶🎵🎼 is supported by the Environmental Protection Society of Malaysia 🇲🇾 as an interactive musical play. All audiences were encouraged to engage with the cast members by joining in the discussion by sharing responses 🗣️👥👤, singing 🎤👄 & dancing 💃🕺 throughout the play

WATER 💦 has always been a medium through which the most catastrophic disasters are portrayed ie. Floods 🌊, droughts, landslides, forest fires 🔥🌳, water-borne diseases, water pollution etc. WATER 💦 maybe just next to air is the most important element to living on earth 🌎 for all. So, this musical 🎶🎵🎼  tittle to better compel the attention of all to safeguard & protect the planet that we all are living on currently 💕🌎

.

So, the synopsis of this musical is very simple to achieve the educational & awareness of flora fauna conservation messaging to the audiences. It’s about in a forest 🌳🌳 clearing, tiger 🐅 🐯 & the other animals (Mouse deer 🦌  , elephant 🐘🐘,  Warthog 🐗, monkey 🐵🐵) gather to discuss human’s destruction of the environment. Yes ✅, it was discussed how the humans plunder the forest 🌳🌳, the animals’ home & the effects of that on the environment with the subsequent tainting of the waterways, also seek the responses from the audiences on the negative impacts ie. The result of human wanting things they don’t need. The human supposedly to live with the surrounding environment, then to balance the explosion or greed of their needs. For example, the deforestation of the National Park in Pahang, Malaysia 🇲🇾

There are a total of 8️⃣ songs in this 1️⃣ hour musical 🎶🎵🎼,

  • Little Drops of Water
  • I am a Vegetarian ~ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻💕 loves the lyrics of this song led by Madam Elephant 🐘cast member of this musical
  • So You See
  • Its My Turn
  • Turn All Around
  • How to Cook A Wildboar ~ The interactiveness with audiences just cute hand gestures from their respective seats 👍🏻 led by Mr Warthog cast member of this musical
  • I Shall Survive
  • Virus Homo Erectus ~ If SiennyLovesDrawing remembered correctly, this was the song that her little niece happily accepted Ms Monkey 👧🏻🤝🏻🐵 cast member invitation by holding her hands to the stage to join the sing & dance 😃😁👍🏻 Do check out her TikTok clip captured of this said interactiveness via 📹🌐 https://www.tiktok.com/@siennylovesdraw/video/7147314048391056667
  • Precious Water ~ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻💕 loves this song the most, especially the chorus

This time, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share her impressive love to this musical from her audience attendance with her little niece this recent weekend 👩🏻💕👧🏻👏🏻👍🏻 It’s absolutely a great weekend spent

Yes ✅, truly a great 👍🏻 musical 🎵🎶🎼 attended as #proudaunt SiennyLovesDrawing & her little niece really enjoyed this Water 💦 : A Musical 🎵🎶🎼 Bravo to the play director, music composer, cast members, head gear designer & all crew members involved in this musical 👏🏻🙌🏻💕

Do check out her happy musical weekend #proudaunt bonding moment with her little niece TikTok clip captured via 📹🌐, you will sure observe how interactive throughout the musical, as well as the nice songs composed in this musical 💕🎵🎶🎼👍🏻

The Black Box theatre of DPAC open for audiences to enter 15mins before the musical scheduled time. 🆓 seating arrangement. At the entrance, each audience is given an animal card, it’s not just as a souvenir 🎁 from the musical 🎵🎶🎼, instead it formed part of the interaction during the show, wow 😲🤩

How❓⁉️

If you’re holding a monkey 🐵 card, you suppose to join in the interaction when being asked by monkey cast member & so on for each of the animals in the musical 🎵🎶🎼  SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 was given with a monkey 🐵 card while her little niece was given with an elephant 🐘 card 😃😁

Before the musical starts, Mr Chin San Sooi has reminded all audiences to wear mask 😷 throughout the whole musical. From SiennyLovesDrawing’s observation as 1️⃣ of the excited audience, 💯% compliance ✅ gained from all responsible audiences #kitajagakita 👍🏻

When the musical 1️⃣st started, all the cast members appeared on stage with bright smiles 😁 & wore on their respective animal’s head gear designed 🪖, in white tee 🤍 & blue jeans 👖to signify their living in a forest 🌳🌳 It was like back to a traditional theater personally to SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 where the focus all aims on the storyline, songs, cast members’ discussion, instead of technology or LED effects of a fancy high tech stage. Even the projections were very simple & straightforward to address the messages discussed on animals conservation & pollution matters. Absolutely a job well done 👍🏻 as this musical play did conveyed clear & engaged messaging to all audiences

The interactiveness between the cast members & the audiences very encouraging & really touching SiennyLovesDrawing’s heart ❤️

Especially when she observed her little niece from being shy at the beginning, next joined the hand gestures with the cast members on her seat 💺, then accepted a personal invitation by a cast member, Ms Monkey 🐵 to her, she then hold her hands 👧🏻🤝🏻 🐵 to join her on the stage to dance & sing together. Wow 😲🙌🏻👍🏻

IMG_20220926_001602

Not just that, many kids 👦🏻👧🏻🧒🏻 (Including special kids from NASOM) also joined the cast members to sing & dance together, truly excitement gained from the interactions during the musical. A creative & innovative way of hosting a musical, bravo 👏🏻👏🏻 Do keep up the good performing arts spirit & vibes, you all had an amazing musical done 👍🏻 SiennyLovesDrawing & her little niece really enjoyed it. Her little niece already kept asking when will be the next musical 🎵🎶🎼, she wanna meet the Ms Monkey 🐵 again, lol 😆😆 Ms Monkey, if you’re reading here, you’ve gained a little fan ya 👧🏻💕🐵

Raising Conservation Awareness with WATER: A Musical

Updated 25 Sept 2022, 10.15pm

Absolutely a great 👍🏻 musical 🎵🎶🎼 attended. SiennyLovesDrawing & her little niece really enjoyed Water: A Musical, bravo to the play director, music composer, cast members, head gear designer & all crew members involved 👏🏻🙌🏻💕

Do check out her happy musical weekend TikTok clip captured via 📹🌐 & stay tuned for her next blogging about her audience attendance to this musical ya 😃😁

Yeah!! It’s September now, time flies : )

If you’ve been following SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻’s blog stories here, you would have read about her recent art collaboration with WWF Malaysia on tiger 🐅🐯 conservation, read more via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/07/29/roar-for-life-eco-festival-in-conjunction-of-global-tiger-day-by-wwf-malaysia/

This round she 👩🏻 would like to share about her recent media attendance to witness the official media launch to raising greater conservation awareness with WATER 💦: A Musical 🎵🎶🎼 presented by Somerset Music & Mr Chin San Sooi 👴🏻

WATER 💦 is a musical 🎵🎶🎼 Tiger 🐅🐯 calls the animals for a meeting to discuss man’s act of deforestation which leads to the pollution of rivers. All the 7️⃣ animals affirm the sacredness of Mother Earth 🌍, ohh no no…🙅🏻‍♀️

Guess what❓⁉️

The musical 🎵🎶🎼 is interactive. The audience are invited to sing 🎤 & dance 🩰 together with the cast members, wow‼️ Absolutely gonna be an exciting & interesting musical experience with a meaningful conservation awareness raised, bravo‼️

It’s a collaboration 🤝🏻 between playwright/director, Mr Chin San Sooi 👴🏻 aka nickname in Mandarin 山水 Mountain Water, with music by Ms Joanne Poh 👩🏻‍💼 of Somerset Music, the audience can look forward to this 60mins of memorable cum interactive engagement with the cast members. Ms Joanne 👩🏻‍💼 & the cast members have proudly shared during the launch that the music is catchy & interactive for audiences to sing 🎤 & dance 🩰 along with all cast members during the musical play. Wow‼️ SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 is looking forward toward it, how about you❓⁉️

Mr San Sooi 👴🏻 said at the official media launch of WATER at Warung Old China in Kuala Lumpur (KL), West Malaysia 🇲🇾, “I was contemplating writing a play on the topic of conservation when I read of the deforestation that was taking place at the National Park 🏞️🌳🌳 in Pahang, Malaysia 🇲🇾 many years ago. I was too earnest & the muse eluded me, till now.

When the covid lockdown began, Mr San Sooi 👴🏻 spent 4️⃣ very productive months occupied, with the end result of finishing 8️⃣ scripts: 2️⃣ satires, 3️⃣ musicals, 2️⃣ monologues & 1️⃣ operetta. So, that is how WATER 💦 : A Musical 🎵🎶🎼 is flowing out to the Malaysian audience in this post-covid environment

It’s really a privilege for SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 to be at this official media launch to hear directly from Mr San Sooi 👴🏻, Ms Joanne 👩🏻‍💼, Mr Khang Nanyao 👨🏻 & some cast members of their involvement & preparation of this musical play 🎵🎶🎼

Do check out her TikTok clip captured from her media attendance via 📹🌐

Mr San Sooi 👴🏻 continues to share that: “A musical 🎵🎶🎼 is more difficult to realise as it is very challenging to compose a piece of music 🎵🎶 to lyrics written by another person. I approached Joanne 👩🏻‍💼 to compose the music. Joanne in her own right is a piano teacher, runs a music school & has sung in choirs & performed on stage. I gave her a year to work on the music. I am glad that Joanne Poh took up the gauntlet with our 3️⃣ musicians.”

He 👴🏻 further explained to the media members that during the covid lockdown, he basically spent time on eat 😋, sleep 💤😴 & write ✍🏻, repeat almost the same daily & then produced this play 🎵🎶🎼 He always wanted to create something relating to pollution & conservation. He just sat down to write without any ideas, then this play materialized naturally. Bravo‼️

He 👴🏻 also admitted to the media members that personally, he is not good in music, not a single note. He understands the difficulty of composing music 🎵🎶 from play, so he spoke to Joanne 👩🏻‍💼, a music teacher, singer, pianist & more to invite her to compose music for this play. Joanne actually being modest & hesitant to Mr San Sooi’s invitation at the beginning, she managed to produce the music for this play after 1️⃣ year. Yeah‼️

Ms Joanne 👩🏻‍💼 then shared with the media that a total of 8️⃣ songs, each animals represent in each music. Why took a year❓⁉️ She was procrastinating at 1st, hence delaying it when she was invited by Mr San Sooi 👴🏻 To her, music 🎵🎶 actually comes when you don’t want it from her music experiences. She would like to have her music on how to connect with the audiences. Also to her, the animal’s gender in this play actually makes a difference in her music creation. It’s neutral & simple to looping mind 🧠 when connecting with music 🎵🎶 Even for children/ students 👦🏻👧🏻🧒🏻, to educate them on pollution & conservation through music 🎶🎵 Of course different for adults & teenagers will be also different. The children will come with adults (ie. Parents/ teachers) to the play, so using appropriate music 🎵🎶 to tight in the play script content is really important to connect with the audiences whether during or even out from the theater that the audiences still remembering the conservation messages from this musical play 🎵🎶🎼

She 👩🏻‍💼 further explained that she was hesitant to Mr San Sooi 👴🏻’s invitation at the beginning because it’s totally 🆕 to her to put music in this educational play. She was lacking of confidence with totally something 🆕 to her music experiences. She took a lot of courage because she understands well that this music from her needs to be put on stage for the public. At last, she decided to still give it a try. Yeah‼️ Ohh ya…Ms Joanne 👩🏻‍💼 also shared that she was at 1️⃣st worried about the generation gap with Mr San Sooi, 81 👴🏻 who is actually on par with her grand parents age. She appreciates the trust from Mr San Sooi with her to put tunes to his play script created. In fact, she has total freedom in her music creation to this play 👍🏻

WATER 💦 is a combined effort by us in an act of creativity with the members of the cast. The oldest cast member is 61 year old Hilda Looi 👩🏻‍🦱 & the youngest cast member is school girl, Kirsten Wong, 13 💁🏻‍♀️ Together with designer, Khang Nanyao, we have set the stage with the different cast of characters through head gear specially created headwear for Mousedeer 🦌, Tiger 🐯, Elephant 🐘, Monkey 🐵 & Wildboar/ Warthog 🐗 In a small but significant way, we hope that WATER 💦 : A Musical 🎵🎶🎼 would make people be more aware of the environment & treat it with respect & concern. The play could lead to larger issues like conservation of the seas & oceans 🌊,” added Mr San Sooi 👴🏻

Mr Khang Nanyao 👨🏻 shared during the official media launch that the animal’s head gears were all 3D printed for current edge trending technology. So, the weight of each is not heavy & does not spoil very fast. These head gear with PLA plastics is possible to recycle ♻️, but it may require special techniques to recycle them

Hmm…Importance of technology over the nature/ being environment friendly❓⁉️ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 as a go green 💚 person would think of using a more environmental friendly materials in producing the head gears would be more meaningful to this play on conservation initiative & awareness 💪🏻🙌🏻👍🏻

Mr Khang Nanyao 👨🏻 further explained to media members that he appreciates the trust from Mr San Sooi 👨🏻 as he has full control on the hear gear design, yes ✅, basically everything on his own ideas & no restrictions of head gear ideas for this play. It’s actually both the spiritual design with technology design at the same time. He did an open head helmet instead of a covered mask as requested by Mr San Sooi 👴🏻 His artwork more on live vs death ~ More scary side. Started making a difference in this play by adding in past & future elements to his head gear design. The cause & effect of humans made. To Mr San Sooi 👴🏻, the white side of the head gear signifies spiritual to him. It’s an interesting interpretation of the head gear created. It took average 4️⃣ days to produce a head gear of the animal, except 5️⃣ days for the elephant 🐘 head gear

One of the cast member, Madam Hilda Looi 👩🏻‍🦱 has shared that her 1️⃣st play was when she was in 18 yrs old & this musical play is her 2nd involvement as Elephant 1🐘 Being the oldest cast member in this musical play, she is looking forward to working with the younger generation. While the youngest cast member, Ms Kirsten Wong 💁🏻‍♀️ is not doing much acting before her involvement to this play as Monkey 1🐵 It’s really a good 🆕 experience to learn new things. While another cast member, Ricky – shared that it’s his 1️⃣st play as Elephant 2🐘 in this musical play & a lot more to learn

Mr San Sooi 👴🏻 has added at the end of the official media launch that all cast members will start the rehearsal of this musical play in early Sept. Ohh yes, it’s on going now, so your ticket booking & purchase surely motivating & boosting encouraging vibes to all the cast members ya 😀 Let’s support local Malaysian artists

So, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to express special thank you to WWF Malaysia, Fused Labs Sdn Bhd & Artisus for trusting her doodle art passion & invited her to participate & painted on 2️⃣ tiger collectibles 🐅🐯

For this pair of Malayan Tigers figurines 🐅🐯, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share her doodles inspiration cum interpretation as below,

The Malayan tiger is the national animal of Malaysia. Actually the Malayan Tiger is 1️⃣ of the smallest tiger species found throughout the southern & central parts of the Malay Peninsula & southern parts of Thailand 🇹🇭 The Malayan tiger is a tiger from a specific population of the Panthera tigris subspecies that is native to Peninsular Malaysia 🇲🇾 This population inhabits the southern & central parts of the Malay Peninsula

The Malayan tiger is Totally Protected under the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010 & is classified as Critically Endangered under the IUCN Red List for Threatened Species since 2015

Meaning of the colours used to doodle on this pair of figurines:

Orange 🧡~ From the Malayan Tiger 🐅🐯 body colour

Black 🖤 ~ From the stripes of Malayan Tiger 🐅🐯

White 🤍 ~ The original colour of the figurines, From the Malaysia flag 🇲🇾 ~ It symbolises purity

Yellow 💛 ~ From the Malaysia flag 🇲🇾 ~ It signifies royal colours of the Malay Rulers. Sienny would like to symbolise it as a bright future of Malaysia of her pair of Malayan Tigers figurines here

Red ♥️ ~ From the Malaysia flag 🇲🇾 ~ It symbolises bravery. The tiger symbolises bravery & strength among Malaysians

Blue 💙 ~ From the Malaysia flag 🇲🇾 ~ It symbolises the unity of all Malaysians

Meaning of doodle patterns:

The circular doodle means focus in aiming 🎯 just like the tiger 🐅🐯

Another doodle pattern meant to be the growth of plant 🌿🌱 to signifies the jungle 🌳🌳

Meaning of this pair of Malayan Tiger figurines gestures:

Hand gestures ~ STOP 🛑 poaching ‼️
The Malayan tiger is already declining due to poaching, habitat loss & fragmentation or degradation, as well as prey loss & now Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) seems to be emerging as yet another threat

Purposely prepared no eyes 👀 on this pair of Malayan Tiger figurines, it’s because tiger cubs are born blind. Their eyes peek open between 6–12 days after birth & they gain full vision after 2 weeks from birth

Do check out her TikTok clip captured via 📹🌐

All 150 limited-edition tiger collectibles were made entirely from sustainable & eco-friendly materials. Each tiger collectible is created & licensed by Fused Labs Sdn Bhd, then supported by Artisus, then each is uniquely customised by Malaysian artists for WWF-Malaysia. Every one-of-a-kind-piece comes with a unique serial number & carries a strong message encouraging all Malaysians to be part of the solution to save our Malayan tigers 🐅🐯

The proceeds from each tiger collectible piece will support Malaysian artists as well as conservation initiatives by WWF-Malaysia. These collectibles will be up for sale & bids via 🛒🌐 http://www.pandashop.my from 29 July 2022 onwards. Do check it out to support this conversation initiative ya ☺️🤗

Asia Art Show ~ An Art Showcase Of Change this August 2022

Hey all 👋🏻, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share about an upcoming Asia Art Show this Aug 2022 in this blog post

It’s not just a normal showcase of art. Asia Art Show aims to change & impact the artistic scene in Asia especially in Malaysia 🇲🇾 This is due to the general view & appreciation towards the art industry in Asia 🌏 is way lower than in other parts of the world

Visual art is usually considered a minority industry & the stigma that comes with it is that it does not guarantee a stable & probable future. Even though we have a great number of talented artists in Asia, only 🔟% of them eventually make a living from selling their artworks

.

Thus, here is where the Asia Art Show exhibition comes into play as we take daring steps to host a high-profile art showcase event for the 1️⃣st time ever in Malaysia 🇲🇾 This event may not be as prestigious as the Art Basel but we are confident that this is the vital 1️⃣st step towards uplifting the Asia art industry

Now, the question is, why Asia❓⁉️ Not Malaysia❓⁉️

The answer is that Asia Art Show aims to become an annual event that connects Asian countries with 1️⃣ objective to bring the spotlight to talented artists across the continent. The event will be featuring artists from Malaysia 🇲🇾, Indonesia 🇮🇩, India 🇮🇳, Korea 🇰🇷, Germany 🇩🇪 & many more. Asia Art Show would also like to gather ASIAN CONGLOMERATES in support of the Asian art industry especially Malaysia 🇲🇾 & neighbourhood countries

Asia Art Show is a 3️⃣-day event held this Aug with the National Day celebration in mind. Even though it is held in the midst of economic crises, we believe that all of these challenges will increase the virtues & values of artists in order to produce more amazing artworks

Isn’t art a form of emotional release & expression❓⁉️

Not only that but art also serves as a therapeutic means for people troubled with various challenges & we are certain that our fellow artists are some of the strongest creatives in the scene

.

Over the years, we have been making efforts to promote & sell artworks via charity fundraising events, sponsorships, garage sales & online websites. We strive to connect artists & buyers through these platforms & many more. Asia Art Show will invite over 1000 potential buyers on the 2️⃣nd day followed by the opening of the gallery to the public on the 3️⃣rd day. The best thing about art exhibitions in Malaysia 🇲🇾 is that we offer 🆓 admission in order to encourage more people to embrace the uniqueness of the various expressions of art

Another big feat of our efforts is that we have managed to gauge the interest of a big Fintech specialist company to sponsor the building of our very own e-commerce website via 🌐 http://www.asiaartshowgallery.com which will be officially launched on the 26 Aug 2022

YAB Perdana Menteri Dato Seri Ismail Sabri has been invited to officiate the Charity Dinner taking place on Friday, 26 Aug 2022. This programme includes Special Needs Artists from our respected CSR allies Pusat Latihan Pemulihan Perindustrian Bangi. These unique artists consist of those with various diseases such as autism, bipolar disorders, physical deficiencies, cancer & also stroke patients. Moreover, there will also be a special auction for 20 pieces from these talented artists. A portion of the proceeds will be channeled to selected NGOs

.

We are aiming to sell at least 200 artworks as a benchmark of our success of organizing this grandiose event. In our eyes, this event does not only benefit 1️⃣ party, but it sincerely will benefit so many parties involved in this event. Our success will majorly depend on the sponsors, artists, buyers, art enthusiasts, media parties & also everyone who put in efforts to make this event a reality

SiennyLovesDrawing as 1️⃣ of the many art lovers, also will be there to attend this charity event on the 26 Aug 2022, see you all, let’s support talented artists

Note: The above content created by the founder of Asia Art Show & Art Market Malaysia, Ms Hazrita Mohd Hatta , then being translated by Ms Siti Zaleha Sheikh Othman

However, you still require to prepare your own sewing needle, white thread, black thread, scissor ✂️ & ruler 📏

Ha…Ha…😆SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 is an all time curious 🤔❓⁉️ baby & trust of her own experiences whenever curiosity arose 😊

Ermm…She 👩🏻 never ❌ enjoys hand sewing since young…😝😜

She 👩🏻 really happy 😃 that she has picked up ✅ this workshop, she is now easily handsew a sheep ✂️📏🐏 on her own, very simple & easy‼️

The step-by-step instruction by the instructor, Ms Yammy Oh 💁🏻‍♀️ really clear & easy to follow 👍🏻

However, would be great 👍🏻 if the clips 📹🎥 were shown closed up at the end of each sewing step. This would help the attendees 👫👭👬 to confirm what they have correctly done each sewing step ✅👍🏻
