Do you all recall SiennyLovesDrawing’s earlier sharing đŸ‘©đŸ»đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’»âœđŸ» here about Raising Conservation Awareness with Water 💩 : A Musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ presented by Somerset Music & Mr Chin San Sooi from her media attendance at its press launch earlier somewhere in Aug❓⁉

You may read her earlier full story via 🌐  https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/09/05/raising-conservation-awareness-with-water-a-musical/

This musical đŸŽ¶đŸŽ”đŸŽŒ is supported by the Environmental Protection Society of Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ as an interactive musical play. All audiences were encouraged to engage with the cast members by joining in the discussion by sharing responses đŸ—ŁïžđŸ‘„đŸ‘€, singing đŸŽ€đŸ‘„ & dancing 💃đŸ•ș throughout the play

WATER 💩 has always been a medium through which the most catastrophic disasters are portrayed ie. Floods 🌊, droughts, landslides, forest fires đŸ”„đŸŒł, water-borne diseases, water pollution etc. WATER 💩 maybe just next to air is the most important element to living on earth 🌎 for all. So, this musical đŸŽ¶đŸŽ”đŸŽŒÂ  tittle to better compel the attention of all to safeguard & protect the planet that we all are living on currently 💕🌎

.

So, the synopsis of this musical is very simple to achieve the educational & awareness of flora fauna conservation messaging to the audiences. It’s about in a forest 🌳🌳 clearing, tiger 🐅 🐯 & the other animals (Mouse deer 🩌  , elephant 🐘🐘,  Warthog 🐗, monkey đŸ”đŸ”) gather to discuss human’s destruction of the environment. Yes ✅, it was discussed how the humans plunder the forest 🌳🌳, the animals’ home & the effects of that on the environment with the subsequent tainting of the waterways, also seek the responses from the audiences on the negative impacts ie. The result of human wanting things they don’t need. The human supposedly to live with the surrounding environment, then to balance the explosion or greed of their needs. For example, the deforestation of the National Park in Pahang, Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ

There are a total of 8ïžâƒŁ songs in this 1ïžâƒŁ hour musical đŸŽ¶đŸŽ”đŸŽŒ,

  • Little Drops of Water
  • I am a Vegetarian ~ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ»đŸ’• loves the lyrics of this song led by Madam Elephant 🐘cast member of this musical
  • So You See

  • Precious Water ~ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ»đŸ’• loves this song the most, especially the chorus

This time, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share her impressive love to this musical from her audience attendance with her little niece this recent weekend đŸ‘©đŸ»đŸ’•đŸ‘§đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ» It’s absolutely a great weekend spent

Yes ✅, truly a great đŸ‘đŸ» musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ attended as #proudaunt SiennyLovesDrawing & her little niece really enjoyed this Water 💩 : A Musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ Bravo to the play director, music composer, cast members, head gear designer & all crew members involved in this musical đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ™ŒđŸ»đŸ’•

Do check out her happy musical weekend #proudaunt bonding moment with her little niece TikTok clip captured via đŸ“č🌐, you will sure observe how interactive throughout the musical, as well as the nice songs composed in this musical đŸ’•đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒđŸ‘đŸ»

The Black Box theatre of DPAC open for audiences to enter 15mins before the musical scheduled time. 🆓 seating arrangement. At the entrance, each audience is given an animal card, it’s not just as a souvenir 🎁 from the musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ, instead it formed part of the interaction during the show, wow đŸ˜ČđŸ€©

How❓⁉

If you’re holding a monkey đŸ” card, you suppose to join in the interaction when being asked by monkey cast member & so on for each of the animals in the musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒÂ  SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» was given with a monkey đŸ” card while her little niece was given with an elephant 🐘 card 😃😁

Before the musical starts, Mr Chin San Sooi has reminded all audiences to wear mask đŸ˜· throughout the whole musical. From SiennyLovesDrawing’s observation as 1ïžâƒŁ of the excited audience, 💯% compliance ✅ gained from all responsible audiences #kitajagakita đŸ‘đŸ»

When the musical 1ïžâƒŁst started, all the cast members appeared on stage with bright smiles 😁 & wore on their respective animal’s head gear designed đŸȘ–, in white tee đŸ€ & blue jeans 👖to signify their living in a forest 🌳🌳 It was like back to a traditional theater personally to SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» where the focus all aims on the storyline, songs, cast members’ discussion, instead of technology or LED effects of a fancy high tech stage. Even the projections were very simple & straightforward to address the messages discussed on animals conservation & pollution matters. Absolutely a job well done đŸ‘đŸ» as this musical play did conveyed clear & engaged messaging to all audiences

The interactiveness between the cast members & the audiences very encouraging & really touching SiennyLovesDrawing’s heart ❀

Especially when she observed her little niece from being shy at the beginning, next joined the hand gestures with the cast members on her seat đŸ’ș, then accepted a personal invitation by a cast member, Ms Monkey đŸ” to her, she then hold her hands đŸ‘§đŸ»đŸ€đŸ» đŸ” to join her on the stage to dance & sing together. Wow đŸ˜ČđŸ™ŒđŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»

IMG_20220926_001602

Not just that, many kids đŸ‘ŠđŸ»đŸ‘§đŸ»đŸ§’đŸ» (Including special kids from NASOM) also joined the cast members to sing & dance together, truly excitement gained from the interactions during the musical. A creative & innovative way of hosting a musical, bravo đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ» Do keep up the good performing arts spirit & vibes, you all had an amazing musical done đŸ‘đŸ» SiennyLovesDrawing & her little niece really enjoyed it. Her little niece already kept asking when will be the next musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ, she wanna meet the Ms Monkey đŸ” again, lol 😆😆 Ms Monkey, if you’re reading here, you’ve gained a little fan ya đŸ‘§đŸ»đŸ’•đŸ”

SiennyLovesDrawing really enjoyed the ending part of this musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ where an introduction to all members involved in the success of this musical, including those behind the scene crew members. It’s really a great đŸ‘đŸ» way to share appreciation đŸ™đŸ»đŸ™đŸ»to all

All the members involved in this Water: A Musical deserve a great applause đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ», you’ve done your very best , we look forward to your next musical đŸ‘đŸ» 😃😁

Yeah!! It’s September now, time flies : )

If you’ve been following SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ»’s blog stories here, you would have read about her recent art collaboration with WWF Malaysia on tiger 🐅🐯 conservation, read more via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/07/29/roar-for-life-eco-festival-in-conjunction-of-global-tiger-day-by-wwf-malaysia/

This round she đŸ‘©đŸ» would like to share about her recent media attendance to witness the official media launch to raising greater conservation awareness with WATER 💩: A Musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ presented by Somerset Music & Mr Chin San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ»

WATER 💩 is a musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ Tiger 🐅🐯 calls the animals for a meeting to discuss man’s act of deforestation which leads to the pollution of rivers. All the 7ïžâƒŁ animals affirm the sacredness of Mother Earth 🌍, ohh no no…đŸ™…đŸ»â€â™€ïž

Guess what❓⁉

The musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ is interactive. The audience are invited to sing đŸŽ€ & dance đŸ©° together with the cast members, wow‌ Absolutely gonna be an exciting & interesting musical experience with a meaningful conservation awareness raised, bravo‌

It’s a collaboration đŸ€đŸ» between playwright/director, Mr Chin San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ» aka nickname in Mandarin ć±±æ°Ž Mountain Water, with music by Ms Joanne Poh đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ of Somerset Music, the audience can look forward to this 60mins of memorable cum interactive engagement with the cast members. Ms Joanne đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ & the cast members have proudly shared during the launch that the music is catchy & interactive for audiences to sing đŸŽ€ & dance đŸ©° along with all cast members during the musical play. Wow‌ SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» is looking forward toward it, how about you❓⁉

Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ» said at the official media launch of WATER at Warung Old China in Kuala Lumpur (KL), West Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ, “I was contemplating writing a play on the topic of conservation when I read of the deforestation that was taking place at the National Park đŸžïžđŸŒłđŸŒł in Pahang, Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ many years ago. I was too earnest & the muse eluded me, till now.”

When the covid lockdown began, Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ» spent 4ïžâƒŁ very productive months occupied, with the end result of finishing 8ïžâƒŁ scripts: 2ïžâƒŁ satires, 3ïžâƒŁ musicals, 2ïžâƒŁ monologues & 1ïžâƒŁ operetta. So, that is how WATER 💩 : A Musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ is flowing out to the Malaysian audience in this post-covid environment

It’s really a privilege for SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» to be at this official media launch to hear directly from Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ», Ms Joanne đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ, Mr Khang Nanyao đŸ‘šđŸ» & some cast members of their involvement & preparation of this musical play đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ

Do check out her TikTok clip captured from her media attendance via đŸ“č🌐

Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ» continues to share that: “A musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ is more difficult to realise as it is very challenging to compose a piece of music đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶ to lyrics written by another person. I approached Joanne đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ to compose the music. Joanne in her own right is a piano teacher, runs a music school & has sung in choirs & performed on stage. I gave her a year to work on the music. I am glad that Joanne Poh took up the gauntlet with our 3ïžâƒŁ musicians.”

He đŸ‘ŽđŸ» further explained to the media members that during the covid lockdown, he basically spent time on eat 😋, sleep đŸ’€đŸ˜Ž & write âœđŸ», repeat almost the same daily & then produced this play đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ He always wanted to create something relating to pollution & conservation. He just sat down to write without any ideas, then this play materialized naturally. Bravo‌

He đŸ‘ŽđŸ» also admitted to the media members that personally, he is not good in music, not a single note. He understands the difficulty of composing music đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶ from play, so he spoke to Joanne đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ, a music teacher, singer, pianist & more to invite her to compose music for this play. Joanne actually being modest & hesitant to Mr San Sooi’s invitation at the beginning, she managed to produce the music for this play after 1ïžâƒŁ year. Yeah‌

Ms Joanne đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ then shared with the media that a total of 8ïžâƒŁ songs, each animals represent in each music. Why took a year❓⁉ She was procrastinating at 1st, hence delaying it when she was invited by Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ» To her, music đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶ actually comes when you don’t want it from her music experiences. She would like to have her music on how to connect with the audiences. Also to her, the animal’s gender in this play actually makes a difference in her music creation. It’s neutral & simple to looping mind 🧠 when connecting with music đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶ Even for children/ students đŸ‘ŠđŸ»đŸ‘§đŸ»đŸ§’đŸ», to educate them on pollution & conservation through music đŸŽ¶đŸŽ” Of course different for adults & teenagers will be also different. The children will come with adults (ie. Parents/ teachers) to the play, so using appropriate music đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶ to tight in the play script content is really important to connect with the audiences whether during or even out from the theater that the audiences still remembering the conservation messages from this musical play đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ

She đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ further explained that she was hesitant to Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ»’s invitation at the beginning because it’s totally 🆕 to her to put music in this educational play. She was lacking of confidence with totally something 🆕 to her music experiences. She took a lot of courage because she understands well that this music from her needs to be put on stage for the public. At last, she decided to still give it a try. Yeah‌ Ohh ya…Ms Joanne đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’Œ also shared that she was at 1ïžâƒŁst worried about the generation gap with Mr San Sooi, 81 đŸ‘ŽđŸ» who is actually on par with her grand parents age. She appreciates the trust from Mr San Sooi with her to put tunes to his play script created. In fact, she has total freedom in her music creation to this play đŸ‘đŸ»

“WATER 💩 is a combined effort by us in an act of creativity with the members of the cast. The oldest cast member is 61 year old Hilda Looi đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸŠ± & the youngest cast member is school girl, Kirsten Wong, 13 đŸ’đŸ»â€â™€ïž Together with designer, Khang Nanyao, we have set the stage with the different cast of characters through head gear specially created headwear for Mousedeer 🩌, Tiger 🐯, Elephant 🐘, Monkey đŸ” & Wildboar/ Warthog 🐗 In a small but significant way, we hope that WATER 💩 : A Musical đŸŽ”đŸŽ¶đŸŽŒ would make people be more aware of the environment & treat it with respect & concern. The play could lead to larger issues like conservation of the seas & oceans 🌊,” added Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ»

Mr Khang Nanyao đŸ‘šđŸ» shared during the official media launch that the animal’s head gears were all 3D printed for current edge trending technology. So, the weight of each is not heavy & does not spoil very fast. These head gear with PLA plastics is possible to recycle ♻, but it may require special techniques to recycle them

Hmm…Importance of technology over the nature/ being environment friendly❓⁉ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» as a go green 💚 person would think of using a more environmental friendly materials in producing the head gears would be more meaningful to this play on conservation initiative & awareness đŸ’ȘđŸ»đŸ™ŒđŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»

Mr Khang Nanyao đŸ‘šđŸ» further explained to media members that he appreciates the trust from Mr San Sooi đŸ‘šđŸ» as he has full control on the hear gear design, yes ✅, basically everything on his own ideas & no restrictions of head gear ideas for this play. It’s actually both the spiritual design with technology design at the same time. He did an open head helmet instead of a covered mask as requested by Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ» His artwork more on live vs death ~ More scary side. Started making a difference in this play by adding in past & future elements to his head gear design. The cause & effect of humans made. To Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ», the white side of the head gear signifies spiritual to him. It’s an interesting interpretation of the head gear created. It took average 4ïžâƒŁ days to produce a head gear of the animal, except 5ïžâƒŁ days for the elephant 🐘 head gear

One of the cast member, Madam Hilda Looi đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸŠ± has shared that her 1ïžâƒŁst play was when she was in 18 yrs old & this musical play is her 2nd involvement as Elephant 1🐘 Being the oldest cast member in this musical play, she is looking forward to working with the younger generation. While the youngest cast member, Ms Kirsten Wong đŸ’đŸ»â€â™€ïž is not doing much acting before her involvement to this play as Monkey 1đŸ” It’s really a good 🆕 experience to learn new things. While another cast member, Ricky – shared that it’s his 1ïžâƒŁst play as Elephant 2🐘 in this musical play & a lot more to learn

Mr San Sooi đŸ‘ŽđŸ» has added at the end of the official media launch that all cast members will start the rehearsal of this musical play in early Sept. Ohh yes, it’s on going now, so your ticket booking & purchase surely motivating & boosting encouraging vibes to all the cast members ya 😀 Let’s support local Malaysian artists

So, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to express special thank you to WWF Malaysia, Fused Labs Sdn Bhd & Artisus for trusting her doodle art passion & invited her to participate & painted on 2ïžâƒŁ tiger collectibles 🐅🐯

For this pair of Malayan Tigers figurines 🐅🐯, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share her doodles inspiration cum interpretation as below,

The Malayan tiger is the national animal of Malaysia. Actually the Malayan Tiger is 1ïžâƒŁ of the smallest tiger species found throughout the southern & central parts of the Malay Peninsula & southern parts of Thailand đŸ‡č🇭 The Malayan tiger is a tiger from a specific population of the Panthera tigris subspecies that is native to Peninsular Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ This population inhabits the southern & central parts of the Malay Peninsula

The Malayan tiger is Totally Protected under the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010 & is classified as Critically Endangered under the IUCN Red List for Threatened Species since 2015

Meaning of the colours used to doodle on this pair of figurines:

Orange 🧡~ From the Malayan Tiger 🐅🐯 body colour

Black đŸ–€ ~ From the stripes of Malayan Tiger 🐅🐯

White đŸ€ ~ The original colour of the figurines, From the Malaysia flag đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ ~ It symbolises purity

Yellow 💛 ~ From the Malaysia flag đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ ~ It signifies royal colours of the Malay Rulers. Sienny would like to symbolise it as a bright future of Malaysia of her pair of Malayan Tigers figurines here

Red ♄ ~ From the Malaysia flag đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ ~ It symbolises bravery. The tiger symbolises bravery & strength among Malaysians

Blue 💙 ~ From the Malaysia flag đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ ~ It symbolises the unity of all Malaysians

Meaning of doodle patterns:

The circular doodle means focus in aiming 🎯 just like the tiger 🐅🐯

Another doodle pattern meant to be the growth of plant đŸŒżđŸŒ± to signifies the jungle 🌳🌳

Meaning of this pair of Malayan Tiger figurines gestures:

Hand gestures ~ STOP 🛑 poaching ‌
The Malayan tiger is already declining due to poaching, habitat loss & fragmentation or degradation, as well as prey loss & now Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) seems to be emerging as yet another threat

Purposely prepared no eyes 👀 on this pair of Malayan Tiger figurines, it’s because tiger cubs are born blind. Their eyes peek open between 6–12 days after birth & they gain full vision after 2 weeks from birth

Do check out her TikTok clip captured via đŸ“č🌐

All 150 limited-edition tiger collectibles were made entirely from sustainable & eco-friendly materials. Each tiger collectible is created & licensed by Fused Labs Sdn Bhd, then supported by Artisus, then each is uniquely customised by Malaysian artists for WWF-Malaysia. Art Galleries

Kudat

Visit to G Wonder Khayalan Home Art Gallery, it’s owned by a local Sabahan artist named Jainal Amambing, an award winning artist in domestic & international

Guess what❓⁉

It’s also known as The Ugliest Home Art Gallery in North Borneo by the artist owner himself

Hmm…Why❓⁉

Mr Jainal believes in finding art in imperfect things surrounding his life. So, he always love to portray the ugliest things from materials eg. The inner part of the Pokok Berlian, instead of the smooth tree trunk. To him, all things are art in different perspectives

Personally to SiennyLovesDrawing, this actually is a natural real look of an art gallery with the real art space of Mr Jainal to producing & exhibiting his art masterpieces & creative ideas

Absolutely an inspiring amazing gallery visit here. In fact, almost every corner in this home gallery is an instagrammable spot, highly recommended đŸ“žđŸ‘đŸ»

Tenom

Murut Cultural Centre is the largest ironwood (Kayu Berlian, it was believed that if the tree trunk kept longer it will turn as diamond 💎💍) building in Borneo aka Murut palace, it’s located in Kampung Inalisan Pulong, Tenom

Her travelmates & herself enjoyed trying the colourful Murut costumes, Tuka Tuka ~ the Murut Custom, blow pipe, Langsaran (Trampoline) etc.

A good experience to explore this centre to learn more about the history & cultures of Murut tribes. There is an area exhibited the jars usage in ancient time within this gallery that no camera is allowed as it’s a respect to a real submission of “Tangkal” ie. Coffin ⚰ in a jar to display in this cultural center

Asia Art Show ~ An Art Showcase Of Change this August 2022

Hey all đŸ‘‹đŸ», SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share about an upcoming Asia Art Show this Aug 2022 in this blog post

It’s not just a normal showcase of art. Asia Art Show aims to change & impact the artistic scene in Asia especially in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ This is due to the general view & appreciation towards the art industry in Asia 🌏 is way lower than in other parts of the world

Visual art is usually considered a minority industry & the stigma that comes with it is that it does not guarantee a stable & probable future. Even though we have a great number of talented artists in Asia, only 🔟% of them eventually make a living from selling their artworks

.

Thus, here is where the Asia Art Show exhibition comes into play as we take daring steps to host a high-profile art showcase event for the 1ïžâƒŁst time ever in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ This event may not be as prestigious as the Art Basel but we are confident that this is the vital 1ïžâƒŁst step towards uplifting the Asia art industry

Now, the question is, why Asia❓⁉ Not Malaysia❓⁉

The answer is that Asia Art Show aims to become an annual event that connects Asian countries with 1ïžâƒŁ objective to bring the spotlight to talented artists across the continent. The event will be featuring artists from Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ, Indonesia đŸ‡źđŸ‡©, India 🇼🇳, Korea đŸ‡°đŸ‡·, Germany đŸ‡©đŸ‡Ș & many more. Asia Art Show would also like to gather ASIAN CONGLOMERATES in support of the Asian art industry especially Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ & neighbourhood countries

Asia Art Show is a 3ïžâƒŁ-day event held this Aug with the National Day celebration in mind. Even though it is held in the midst of economic crises, we believe that all of these challenges will increase the virtues & values of artists in order to produce more amazing artworks

Isn’t art a form of emotional release & expression❓⁉

Not only that but art also serves as a therapeutic means for people troubled with various challenges & we are certain that our fellow artists are some of the strongest creatives in the scene

.

Over the years, we have been making efforts to promote & sell artworks via charity fundraising events, sponsorships, garage sales & online websites. We strive to connect artists & buyers through these platforms & many more. Asia Art Show will invite over 1000 potential buyers on the 2ïžâƒŁnd day followed by the opening of the gallery to the public on the 3ïžâƒŁrd day. The best thing about art exhibitions in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ is that we offer 🆓 admission in order to encourage more people to embrace the uniqueness of the various expressions of art

Another big feat of our efforts is that we have managed to gauge the interest of a big Fintech specialist company to sponsor the building of our very own e-commerce website via 🌐 http://www.asiaartshowgallery.com which will be officially launched on the 26 Aug 2022

YAB Perdana Menteri Dato Seri Ismail Sabri has been invited to officiate the Charity Dinner taking place on Friday, 26 Aug 2022. This programme includes Special Needs Artists from our respected CSR allies Pusat Latihan Pemulihan Perindustrian Bangi. These unique artists consist of those with various diseases such as autism, bipolar disorders, physical deficiencies, cancer & also stroke patients. Moreover, there will also be a special auction for 20 pieces from these talented artists. A portion of the proceeds will be channeled to selected NGOs

.

We are aiming to sell at least 200 artworks as a benchmark of our success of organizing this grandiose event. In our eyes, this event does not only benefit 1ïžâƒŁ party, but it sincerely will benefit so many parties involved in this event. Our success will majorly depend on the sponsors, artists, buyers, art enthusiasts, media parties & also everyone who put in efforts to make this event a reality

SiennyLovesDrawing as 1ïžâƒŁ of the many art lovers, also will be there to attend this charity event on the 26 Aug 2022, see you all, let’s support talented artists

Saloma Link Bridge ~ Insta-Worthy Tourist Spot @ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

This actually relating to SiennyLovesDrawing’s đŸ‘©đŸ» earlier blogging đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’»đŸ“ via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2020/05/19/things-cant-wait-to-do-after-the-end-of-covid19-lockdown/

Yes ✅, she wishes to enjoy holidays within her own living city 🌆🏙/ home country 🚗🚌đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ

Yeah‌ Have you heard about an instagrammable attraction 📍 in Kuala Lumpur (KL), the capital city 🌆🏙 of Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿâ“â‰ïž

She đŸ‘©đŸ» has 1ïžâƒŁst visited it from her earlier participation ✅ as media team for Kuala Lumpur 🌆🏙 What’s Fun tripâ“â‰ïžđŸ˜ƒđŸ˜‰

It was before Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ ‘s Movement Control Order (MCO) even started though…

She đŸ‘©đŸ» is gonna sharing đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’»đŸ“aboutthis instagrammable bridge 🌉named Pintasan Saloma in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ ‘s national language aka Saloma Link Bridge 🌉

Guess what❓⁉

It’s now the longest single span steel structure elevated walkway 🌉 in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ The orientation of its floor finishes along the walkway is facing the Qibla (Read more via 🌐 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qibla) to create continuity ↔ between the Pintasan Saloma & Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetery Park

Surely all of you have viewed lots of beautiful đŸ˜đŸ€©captures 📾đŸ“čđŸŽ„ & news sharing about it whether from the main media 🗞📰 or online social platforms đŸ“±đŸ–„đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’»đŸ‘šđŸ»â€đŸ’»

Yes ✅, this Saloma Link with its main structure i.e. A covered elevated steel pedestrian bridge 🌉 already launched for public visit since 5 Feb 2020 in the city 🌆🏙 which commissioned by Kampong Bharu Development Corporation (PKB) 😀

It stretches 370m & span across the AKLEH Highway 🛣 & Klang River of 69m long. Its curved steel roof canopy houses the with 4.1K diamond facade panels & equipped with LED lights💡💡which brightly-lit up at night 🌃🌌 The state-of-the-art lighting actually changing the light colours from time to time to creating amazing images for public to enjoy their walking đŸš¶đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸš¶đŸ»â€â™‚ïž & capturing unique moments with it 📾đŸ“čđŸŽ„

Yes ✅, another iconic landmark 📍 in of Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ This beautiful đŸ˜đŸ€© pedestrian bridge 🌉 connects ↔ between Kampong Baru & Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) just 7ïžâƒŁmins walking đŸš¶đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸš¶đŸ»â€â™‚ïždistance as compared to 30mins in the past, from Jalan Sungai Baru to Jalan Saloma (reason of its name) & expanding over Klang River

A seamless pedestrian connectivity ↔ between both the old & new 🆕 worlds of KL 🌆🏙, a mere distance from the Kampung Baru LRT 🚉 The construction of this bridge took 1.5 years to complete with cost 💰 of RM31mil (approximately USD7.5mil), including its consultancy cost

The bridge’s architecture is inspired by the Sirih Junjung in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ‘s national language aka Betel Leaf concept, a must in traditional Malay wedding ceremonies 🎉🎊 as a symbol of unity among the Malay community. Also its design slightly similar to Bridge of Peace, a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge 🌉 with steel & glass construction over the Kura River at in downtown Tbilisi, capital of Georgia 🇬đŸ‡Ș, read more via 🌐 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_of_Peace

Personally SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» recommends to visit this bridge 🌉 for both day time 🌆 & night time 🏙 for a different photo/ video 📾đŸ“čđŸŽ„ capturing fun & effects pleasure. Hmm…Please note that this link bridge 🌉 is not ❌ open for 24 hours. Operation hours 🕔 as shared at the bottom of this post 📌

Free admission ya 🆓🎟

Don’t worry about your personal safety while visiting it 🌉 at late hours as it’s well equipped with CCTV đŸ“ș & rotation of security guard đŸ‘źđŸ»â€â™‚ïžđŸ‘źđŸ»â€â™€ïž

She đŸ‘©đŸ»would like to reminding public, both Malaysians & foreign visitors đŸ‘«đŸ‘đŸ‘Ź to maintaining the cleanliness 🚼of this bridge, perhaps by not ❌ having any snacks/ beverages đŸŸđŸŒŻđŸżđŸ„€ while visiting this link bridge

Let’s all of us be a responsible traveller whenever & wherever we are 😊

Ohh ya…Not just that, this bridge also aims for healthy lifestyle in the city 🌆🏙, it’s promoting walkability within the city đŸš¶đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸš¶đŸ»â€â™‚ïž

A 5ïžâƒŁ km fun walk đŸš¶đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸš¶đŸ»â€â™‚ïž ~ Jejak Warisan @ Pintasan Saloma 2020 was organised on 29 Feb 2020 to celebrate 🎉🎊 the Happy Federal Territory Day in conjunction of the opening ceremony of this Saloma Link Bridge 🌉

Then she đŸ‘©đŸ» got contacted with PKB FB page & received invitation as media 😃😁 So she wore a blue running đŸƒđŸ»â€â™€ïž shirt đŸŽœđŸ‘• & enjoyed a great sweat 😓💩💧as she always enjoy, yeah‌

So happy 😃 she đŸ‘©đŸ» has joined this Jejak Warisan Pintasan Saloma as both media & participant đŸš¶đŸ»â€â™€ïž

It was a great đŸ‘đŸ» event organised with not just the fun walk đŸš¶đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸš¶đŸ»â€â™‚ïž, also a Malay traditional costume & kids colouring competition

A great đŸ‘đŸ» sweat 💩💧 with a beautiful unique wooden crafted medal đŸ„‡ Yeahâ€ŒïžđŸ‘đŸ»đŸ™ŒđŸ»

Where & What To Eat @ Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Hmm…Where & what to eat đŸ˜‹đŸ€€ when you’re exploring Kuala Lumpur (KL), the capital city 🌆🏙 of Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿâ“â‰ïž

SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ»has recently visited below dining places đŸœđŸ“from her recent participation ✅ as media team for Kuala Lumpur 🌆🏙 What’s Funâ“â‰ïžđŸ˜ƒđŸ˜‰ & would like to recommend here đŸ‘†đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»

Ohh ya…A friendly reminder 📌 to hold your saliva đŸ€€ while reading 📖 this post ya 😉

Congkak KL

Do you know Congkak❓⁉

Read more via 🌐 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southeast_Asian_mancala, it’s 1ïžâƒŁ of the many traditional games in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ

SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» loves & enjoys Congkak â€ïžđŸ˜ƒ since young đŸ‘§đŸ» & even now

Congkak is the brand name for a new 🆕 restaurant đŸœđŸŽ who takes great pride in ensuring that each plate has a tradition in its Nusantara đŸ‡źđŸ‡© recipes with spices & togetherness while serving on each dining table which covered with a batik design table cloth

Just like the Congkak game, the food is shared & enjoyed amongst the people đŸ‘đŸ‘«đŸ‘Ź

She đŸ‘©đŸ» was impressed with the Congkak fruit punch bowl being served on the table, love 💗 the nostalgic style glass bowl & the glass cups, not too sweet with slices of fruits to enjoy a cuppa & more đŸ˜‹đŸ€€

She đŸ‘©đŸ» has tasted its signature Nasi Ambeng here with friends đŸ‘đŸ‘ŹđŸ‘«, yummy yummy đŸ˜‹đŸ€€

Nasi Ambeng fun fact learnt from Congkak ~ The side dishes that accompany to it have to be an odd number & 9ïžâƒŁ to be exact to symbolise completion â•ïžđŸ’Ż

It generally serves as 1ïžâƒŁ set & for minimum of 2ïžâƒŁ pax & above. However, no worry when you’re in Congkak KL as it offers it for 1ïžâƒŁ pax to enjoy it đŸœđŸ˜‹, yeah‌

Hmm…Comparatively, personally she đŸ‘©đŸ» still prefers the one that she cooked & eat together with media friends đŸ‘đŸ‘ŹđŸ‘« at Hj Dorani Homestay last year, especially the black sauce steamed chicken 🍗🐓

Curious about it❓⁉

Do enjoy her vlog đŸ“čđŸŽ„ captured for sharing as below,

She đŸ‘©đŸ» also has tasted the Tauhu Telur, Ikan Wayang 🐟 , Ayam Panggang Berlado 🐓🍗 & Gulai Lemak Daging đŸ‚đŸ„©
