  • What’s the ratio/ portionโ“
  • Fermentation in room temperatureโ“
  • Need to stir it? If yes, for how many daysโ“
  • What’s the nutrition of Pitaya enzymeโ“
  • How to keep the Pitaya enzymeโ“

Guess whatโ“โ‰๏ธ

The secret ingredients & tools are simple, just the dragon fruits, lemon & brown sugar, knife ๐Ÿ”ช & glass bottle. The instructor has shared that must use glass bottle for Pitaya Enzyme DIY making, else it will fail…So, do remember ya

The DIY pitaya enzyme steps also easy to follow from the instructor’s guidance,

  1. Wash hand & fruits, then clean & slice the fruits with knife ๐Ÿ”ช
  2. Put in all the ingredients layer by layer in the glass bottle
  3. Once full, close the lid & store the glass bottle in a cool & dry place. No need to place in fridge yet
  4. Do shake the bottle gently everyday to get the brown sugar to coat the fruits nicely
  5. The pitaya enzyme should be ready in approximately 3๏ธโƒฃ weeks
  6. However, once opening the lid for consumption, do place the enzyme in fridge. The ๐Ÿ†’ temperature will slow down the fermentation process & delay the enzyme from turning into vinegar

Do check out SiennyLovesDrawing’s happy DIY pitaya enzyme TikTok clip captured & more photos via ๐Ÿ“ธ๐ŸŒ https://www.facebook.com/100004950135932/posts/1779598448881809/

Yeahโ€ผ๏ธ SiennyLovesDrawing’s ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป travel wish comes trueโ€ผ๏ธ Yes โœ…, she always wishes to do train travel ๐Ÿš‚ within Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ since Post-Covid with the state borders & international borders reopened @ Malaysia ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

In this blog post, she will share her own travel experiences & observations about COVID19 travel ๐Ÿ†• norms, places & the foods she enjoys during recent rail tourism to Gua Musang, Kelantan ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜

Travel Preparation & Checklist

  • Identification card (I/C) for local Malaysian ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ OR international passport ๐Ÿ›‚ for foreigners ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ, must ensure at least 6๏ธโƒฃ months validity ya ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป for all fully vaccinated travelers whether travelling to/from domestics or international to be PCR tested before & after travel trips for the peace of mind of own safety & the safety of others #kitajagakita

Things To Do & Trip Itinerary @ Gua Musang ๐Ÿž๏ธ

Gua Musang is a railway ๐Ÿš‚ town

Gua Musang ๐Ÿž๏ธ is surrounded by limestone hills & caves, which can provide entertainment for cavers, rock climbers & extreme sports lovers, moreover with Muse Eco Park opening now, do read on this long blog story here to check out her extreme sports experience gained ya ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜ƒ

In the past, trains ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿš‚ were the only means of transport to this town. This train journey provides a glimpse of village life in the jungle ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ hinterland. This is a jungle railway ๐Ÿš‚๐ŸŒณ not to be missed which runs from the junction at Gemas northwards to Kota Bharu & Tumpat. The green ๐Ÿ’š scenery starts from Jerantut station onwards as shared by the on train expert, Mr Kelvin Khew ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Gua Musang KTM train station is distinguished by the natural splendor that surrounds it as it’s situated at the foot of the hill โ›ฐ๏ธ Yes โœ…, once the train ๐Ÿš‚ arrived at Gua Musang train station, you will be welcome by the beautiful desolate slope of rocks with deceiving stone stairs that rise to 105m ๐Ÿ˜ You will sure enjoy beautiful OOTD moments at this train station ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿš‰

Hmm…The old Gua Musang train station was closed after the great flood in 2014. It’s located at the end of the main street in the old town & now used as 1๏ธโƒฃ of the must visit heritage spot for all tourists. It’s also 1๏ธโƒฃ of the best spots ๐Ÿ“ for photography ๐Ÿ“ธ lovers. Or simply sitting & admiring the splendour, the hill resembles a stone pillar with a large fissure that practically cuts it in half vertically ๐Ÿ˜

Day 1๏ธโƒฃ

Met up with all travel mates at Heritage Station Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur KTM train station ๐Ÿš‰ Enjoyed a hot Horlicks & fried noodles while awaiting for the train ๐Ÿš‚ boarding

A privilege to witness this rail tourism special charter flag โ›ณoff by Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof, Tourism Malaysia’s Domestic & Event Division Senior Director & Deputy Director General (Planning) of Tourism Malaysia with a safe departure of night train ๐Ÿš‚ from Kuala Lumpur KTM train station @ 10.45pm sharp

.

Yeahโ€ผ๏ธ On board & checked in to her sleeper ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ’ค seat at upper deck

She loves the privacy privilege at upper deck, though need to climb up & down to reach her sleeper seat ๐Ÿš‚

The train ๐Ÿš‚ moves steady slow towards the destination point @ Gua Musang. The train has stopped by Seremban & Gemas KTM train stations to pick up passengers ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ฌ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿป SiennyLovesDrawing has got down to snap some photos at Gemas station with friends ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ˜

Ohh ya…The train will switch its railway ๐Ÿ›ค๏ธ & then the train will move in opposite directions ๐Ÿ”„ from Gemas station, so do change to an empty seat ๐Ÿ’บ available or enjoy your seating sleep ๐Ÿ˜ด to avoid any dizziness ๐Ÿ˜ต

Tips on an overnight train ride

  • Do book your lower deck sleeper seat as early as possible, it’s selling like hot cake. For elderly, upper deck is not advisable as it requires to climb up & down ๐Ÿค—
  • Do wear comfortable clothing as you’re on a long rail ride ๐Ÿš‚
  • Do wear your face mask ๐Ÿ˜ท on board
  • Must bring sweater ๐Ÿงฅ as the air conditioner is getting stronger at night ๐ŸŒƒ
  • Must bring travel pillow โฌœ
  • Suggest to bring fully charged power bank & extension cord due to limited power points ๐Ÿ”Œ at Chill Relax & Event (Karaoke) coaches on board & on sharing basis
  • Pack light luggage especially if you’re on upper deck sleeper seat. Your luggage bags are needed to place at lower deck. Do not leave your valuables unattended during the rail ride. #sharingiscaring to all #travelbackpack lovers โค๏ธ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ’• ~ 15%OFF code “SLD15OFF” & a ๐Ÿ†“ tote bag by purchase every #GastonLuga #backpack or bundle via ๐Ÿ›’๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐ŸŒ https://gastonluga.com/my/backpacks , #AnywherewithGL ~ SiennyLoves Drawing loves her ๐Ÿ†• travel companion with Gaston Luga waterproof backpack ๐ŸŽ’ ~ Splash 16″ Taupe-Black during this train trip ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ

  • No smoking ๐Ÿšญ allow inside the train ๐Ÿš‚

Do check out her rail travel TikTok clip captured ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ

Wake up & enjoyed morning view from the train window ๐Ÿš‚๐ŸชŸ Enjoyed packed nasi lemak pandan breakfast with hot milk tea @ train cafe, chit chat with other passengers, chill & relax enjoyed the views outside window ๐Ÿš‚๐ŸชŸ

The foods served in train cafe is good, personally SiennyLovesDrawing loves the pandan coconut fragrance rice with the sweet spicy anchovies sambal ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Ohh ya…Only limited seats, once you’ve finished your meals, do give chance to other train passengers to enjoy their meals in train cafe ๐Ÿ’•

Hmm…Can you spot SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปin this video clip via ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ https://www.facebook.com/groups/jomnaikkeretapi/permalink/4872055519590002/ which captured by 1๏ธโƒฃ of the Jom Naik Keretapi memberโ“โ‰๏ธ

Finally, arrived @ Gua Musang KTM train station after 11 hours train journey @ ๐Ÿ”Ÿam. Bus ๐ŸšŒ picked up from Gua Mustang train station for a 2๏ธโƒฃnd breakfast @ Warung Muse , a nice spot to enjoy meals with the scenes of visitors busy via ferrata & flying fox

SiennyLovesDrawing had a cup of hot asam boi โ˜• & a slice of toasted bread ๐Ÿž The service was super slow & some of the travel mates got their order wrongly served…Hope the service would be improving greater in her next visit then

Yes, Sienny Yong aka SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป would like to explore more about Sabah & Sarawak in the future which both made Malaysia owns the 25% of Borneo’s land. Borneo, the 3๏ธโƒฃrd largest island ๐Ÿ๏ธ in the world ๐ŸŒŽ & divided between 3 countries ie. Indonesia ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ , Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ & Brunei ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ณ

Once upon a time…

Still recalled her 1๏ธโƒฃst fly to Sabah was right after her university graduation ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐ŸŽ“๐ŸŽ“ & as a graduation celebration ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅณ trip to reward herself by opting for a hike to Mt Kinabalu (Mt KK) โ›ฐ๏ธ (aka Akinabalu by the local Sabahan people), it’s her 1๏ธโƒฃst hiking ๐Ÿฅพ trip, also to explore Malaysia’s 1๏ธโƒฃst heritage site, Kinabalu Park. Hmm…It was really long long ago & at that time she has got no social media platforms to show off her summit photo with her full colour certificate at that time ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ She was hike up with Mesilau route, it’s with beautiful scenery, though slightly longer journey as compared to the route she opted to go down, Timpohon route, a stairs alike route & not comfortable for her tiring legs back then. Guess whatโ“โ‰๏ธ Her beautiful colour certificate is nicely kept in the safety deposit box with a local bank ๐Ÿฆ now, 1๏ธโƒฃ of her precious achievements in life โœจ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Then, her 2๏ธโƒฃnd fly to Sabah was as a volunteer to collect & supply stationeries & teaching to some Bajau Laut kids at the rural sea nomad villages of Semporna Island ๐Ÿ๏ธ Still recalled the chalet hotel that she stayed was being flooded due to a heavy rain ๐ŸŒง๏ธ storm & the rising level of sea ๐ŸŒŠ water at that time. She joined her other volunteers together with the chalet staffs to clean up the chalets surrounding. The pure hearts & smiles of the rural kids still warm kept in her heart โค๏ธ It was a memorable weeks spent with the local Sabahan kids & people, sure the kids have all grown up healthily now. Interactions with local people is what SiennyLovesDrawing enjoys & treasures the most, valuable juicy life stories, learning more about local living, cultures etc. Absolutely precious ๐Ÿ’•

.

These 2๏ธโƒฃ travels to Sabah shared above were happened when she has yet to start her lifestyle blogging here at that time, also she wasn’t active in social media postings too

Then her blogging passion here โœ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป got noticed & received honourable media invitation ๐Ÿ“ง to join the Malaysia Inbound Tourism Association (MITA) business networking 3๏ธโƒฃD2๏ธโƒฃN trip in 2018. 3๏ธโƒฃrd fly to Sabah to explore & then shared her travel stories about the eco tourism at Sabah, read more via ๐ŸŒ https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2018/12/17/6-eco-tourism-must-see-in-sabah-malaysian-borneo/ & ๐Ÿ“Œ๐ŸŒ https://twitter.com/SiennyLovesDraw/status/1070869540232286208

She was truly amazed & proud as Malaysian because Dairy Farm ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿฎ in Kundasang, Sabah making her really like being at a farm in New Zealand ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฉ

Ohh ya…Insider news sharing ๐Ÿ˜€ Mr Peter Augustine has shared that in coming months, this museum will be undergoing an upgrade of its artifacts exhibition. There are many more artifacts collected that the museum needs to exhibit them for all its visitors. This upgrade aims to have more digital savvy, ie. Barongan Kuda Kepang performance

Kuda Kepang aka Flat Horse ๐Ÿด is a traditional Javanese dance with a group of horsemen (as dancers) straddle a flat horse ๐Ÿด Each Flat Horse was made with the braided strips of woven bamboo, then being painted & decorated colourfully

This dance portrays troops riding horses & incorporates trances. When dancers are in trance, they display extraordinary abilities as being possessed by animal spirits eg. monkey, snake, elephant, bird etc. Some of the horsemen will swallow glasses, climb trees, walk on hot burning charcoals etc.

Traditionally, this dance supposed to be with all male dancers. However, she has noted that there are some female dancers from the Persatuan Kuda Kepang Kampung Bukit Cherakah that night
