Sepang Corner Healthy Fruit & Florist

Yeah‌ Sepang is well known for its dragon fruits plantations, in fact the biggest dragon fruits plantations in Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ , you can easily spot the cactus alike dragon fruits plants almost everywhere here đŸ€©

This education trip has involved its participants to learn & DIY own bottle of Pitaya Enzyme here, precious learning time gained & at the same time to instill healthy living tips, bravo đŸ‘đŸ»

Hmm…Before joining, SiennyLovesDrawing was curious đŸ€”â“â‰ïž

  • What’s the ratio/ portion❓
  • Fermentation in room temperature❓
  • Need to stir it? If yes, for how many days❓
  • What’s the nutrition of Pitaya enzyme❓
  • How to keep the Pitaya enzyme❓

Guess what❓⁉

The secret ingredients & tools are simple, just the dragon fruits, lemon & brown sugar, knife đŸ”Ș & glass bottle. The instructor has shared that must use glass bottle for Pitaya Enzyme DIY making, else it will fail…So, do remember ya

The DIY pitaya enzyme steps also easy to follow from the instructor’s guidance,

  1. Wash hand & fruits, then clean & slice the fruits with knife đŸ”Ș
  2. Put in all the ingredients layer by layer in the glass bottle
  3. Once full, close the lid & store the glass bottle in a cool & dry place. No need to place in fridge yet
  4. Do shake the bottle gently everyday to get the brown sugar to coat the fruits nicely
  5. The pitaya enzyme should be ready in approximately 3ïžâƒŁ weeks
  6. However, once opening the lid for consumption, do place the enzyme in fridge. The 🆒 temperature will slow down the fermentation process & delay the enzyme from turning into vinegar

Do check out SiennyLovesDrawing’s happy DIY pitaya enzyme TikTok clip captured & more photos via 📾🌐 https://www.facebook.com/100004950135932/posts/1779598448881809/

Rail travel and extreme sports at Gua Musang Kelantan

Rail Tourism to Gua Musang Of Kelantan, Malaysia · Things To Do & Day by Day Itinerary

Yeah‌ SiennyLovesDrawing’s đŸ‘©đŸ» travel wish comes true‌ Yes ✅, she always wishes to do train travel 🚂 within Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ since Post-Covid with the state borders & international borders reopened @ Malaysia đŸ‘đŸ»

In this blog post, she will share her own travel experiences & observations about COVID19 travel 🆕 norms, places & the foods she enjoys during recent rail tourism to Gua Musang, Kelantan 😃😁

Travel Preparation & Checklist

  • Identification card (I/C) for local Malaysian đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ OR international passport 🛂 for foreigners đŸ™…đŸ»â€â™€ïžđŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ, must ensure at least 6ïžâƒŁ months validity ya đŸ‘đŸ»
  • Digital Certificate of Vaccination 💉 ~ Personally she suggests to screenshot & keep a copy offline in all your devices đŸ“Č to avoid no network OR connectivity issues while travelling to roads less traveled or rural areas then🧳
  • Wef. 1 Dec 2021, COVID-19 RT-PCR or RTK-Ag swab test prior to travel is no longer required, EXCEPT FOR partially vaccinated & not vaccinated prior to entering the state of Kelantan
  • Wef. 1 May 2022, COVID-19 travel insurance is no longer required, however this trip involved extreme sport, travel insurance is advisable
  • Wef. 1 May 2022, MySejahtera Check-ins are no longer required, personally she still will check in whenever she spotted the QR code to record her own journeys

SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» is fully vaccinated ✅💉, including booster vaccine, she still performed self test prior & after her trips. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED đŸ‘đŸ» for all fully vaccinated travelers whether travelling to/from domestics or international to be PCR tested before & after travel trips for the peace of mind of own safety & the safety of others #kitajagakita

Things To Do & Trip Itinerary @ Gua Musang đŸžïž

Gua Musang is a railway 🚂 town

Gua Musang đŸžïž is surrounded by limestone hills & caves, which can provide entertainment for cavers, rock climbers & extreme sports lovers, moreover with Muse Eco Park opening now, do read on this long blog story here to check out her extreme sports experience gained ya đŸ’ȘđŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ˜ƒ

In the past, trains 🚂🚂 were the only means of transport to this town. This train journey provides a glimpse of village life in the jungle 🌳🌳 hinterland. This is a jungle railway 🚂🌳 not to be missed which runs from the junction at Gemas northwards to Kota Bharu & Tumpat. The green 💚 scenery starts from Jerantut station onwards as shared by the on train expert, Mr Kelvin Khew đŸ™‹đŸ»â€â™‚ïž

Gua Musang KTM train station is distinguished by the natural splendor that surrounds it as it’s situated at the foot of the hill ⛰ Yes ✅, once the train 🚂 arrived at Gua Musang train station, you will be welcome by the beautiful desolate slope of rocks with deceiving stone stairs that rise to 105m 😍 You will sure enjoy beautiful OOTD moments at this train station 📾🚉

Hmm…The old Gua Musang train station was closed after the great flood in 2014. It’s located at the end of the main street in the old town & now used as 1ïžâƒŁ of the must visit heritage spot for all tourists. It’s also 1ïžâƒŁ of the best spots 📍 for photography 📾 lovers. Or simply sitting & admiring the splendour, the hill resembles a stone pillar with a large fissure that practically cuts it in half vertically 😍

Day 1ïžâƒŁ

Met up with all travel mates at Heritage Station Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur KTM train station 🚉 Enjoyed a hot Horlicks & fried noodles while awaiting for the train 🚂 boarding

Address📍: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZNf686gNyzZno7Ei8
Website🌐: https://heritage-station-restaurant.business.site/

A privilege to witness this rail tourism special charter flag ⛳off by Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof, Tourism Malaysia’s Domestic & Event Division Senior Director & Deputy Director General (Planning) of Tourism Malaysia with a safe departure of night train 🚂 from Kuala Lumpur KTM train station @ 10.45pm sharp

.

Yeah‌ On board & checked in to her sleeper đŸ˜ŽđŸ’€ seat at upper deck

She loves the privacy privilege at upper deck, though need to climb up & down to reach her sleeper seat 🚂

The train 🚂 moves steady slow towards the destination point @ Gua Musang. The train has stopped by Seremban & Gemas KTM train stations to pick up passengers đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘ŹđŸ»đŸ‘«đŸ» SiennyLovesDrawing has got down to snap some photos at Gemas station with friends 📾😁

Ohh ya…The train will switch its railway đŸ›€ïž & then the train will move in opposite directions 🔄 from Gemas station, so do change to an empty seat đŸ’ș available or enjoy your seating sleep 😮 to avoid any dizziness đŸ˜”

Tips on an overnight train ride

  • Do book your lower deck sleeper seat as early as possible, it’s selling like hot cake. For elderly, upper deck is not advisable as it requires to climb up & down đŸ€—
  • Do wear comfortable clothing as you’re on a long rail ride 🚂
  • Do wear your face mask đŸ˜· on board
  • Must bring sweater đŸ§„ as the air conditioner is getting stronger at night 🌃
  • Must bring travel pillow ⬜
  • Suggest to bring fully charged power bank & extension cord due to limited power points 🔌 at Chill Relax & Event (Karaoke) coaches on board & on sharing basis
  • Pack light luggage especially if you’re on upper deck sleeper seat. Your luggage bags are needed to place at lower deck. Do not leave your valuables unattended during the rail ride. #sharingiscaring to all #travelbackpack lovers â€ïžđŸŽ’đŸ’• ~ 15%OFF code “SLD15OFF” & a 🆓 tote bag by purchase every #GastonLuga #backpack or bundle via đŸ›’đŸ›ïžđŸŒ https://gastonluga.com/my/backpacks , #AnywherewithGL ~ SiennyLoves Drawing loves her 🆕 travel companion with Gaston Luga waterproof backpack 🎒 ~ Splash 16″ Taupe-Black during this train trip đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ
  • A pair of comfy shoes, SiennyLovesDrawing has opted 👟 #LuccaVudorSG ~ Absolutely comfy leather sneakers 👟 for this whole trip at Kelantan , loving it đŸ’•â€ïžfor train travel as well as extreme sports @ Muse Eco Park, do read more of her user story via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/06/20/user-experience-comfortable-leather-shoes-from-lucca-vudor/
  • Do sanitize your sleeper deck 1ïžâƒŁst before your good night rest

  • No smoking 🚭 allow inside the train 🚂

Do check out her rail travel TikTok clip captured đŸ“č🌐

Day 2ïžâƒŁ

Wake up & enjoyed morning view from the train window 🚂đŸȘŸ Enjoyed packed nasi lemak pandan breakfast with hot milk tea @ train cafe, chit chat with other passengers, chill & relax enjoyed the views outside window 🚂đŸȘŸ

The foods served in train cafe is good, personally SiennyLovesDrawing loves the pandan coconut fragrance rice with the sweet spicy anchovies sambal đŸ˜‹đŸ‘đŸ»

Ohh ya…Only limited seats, once you’ve finished your meals, do give chance to other train passengers to enjoy their meals in train cafe 💕

Hmm…Can you spot SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘€đŸ‘©đŸ»in this video clip via đŸ“č🌐 https://www.facebook.com/groups/jomnaikkeretapi/permalink/4872055519590002/ which captured by 1ïžâƒŁ of the Jom Naik Keretapi member❓⁉

Finally, arrived @ Gua Musang KTM train station after 11 hours train journey @ 🔟am. Bus 🚌 picked up from Gua Mustang train station for a 2ïžâƒŁnd breakfast @ Warung Muse , a nice spot to enjoy meals with the scenes of visitors busy via ferrata & flying fox

SiennyLovesDrawing had a cup of hot asam boi ☕ & a slice of toasted bread 🍞 The service was super slow & some of the travel mates got their order wrongly served…Hope the service would be improving greater in her next visit then

The Razaleigh Mosque of 99K square feet & equipped with 9ïžâƒŁ towers as high as 30m & 8ïžâƒŁ domes similar to the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, it was inspired by the Member of Parliament for Gua Musang, YBM. This mosque with a unique & attractive design using high quality building materials including tiles built on a site of 1.5 hectares with capability of accommodating up to 3.5K congregations. Wow‌

This is Kelantan’s iconic mosque which cost RM34 million as a replica of the Kaaba & it was built with a combination of high -tech LED screen blocks that display the holy verses of the Quran or the content of the sermon delivered by the imam of the mosque. 🌐 https://tourism.sabah.gov.my/news/newsdetails/fly-me-to-sabah-offers-opportunities-to-experience-sabah-bucket-list-holidays

So, here a blog post to sharing in detailed about SiennyLovesDrawing ‘s virtual letter to Sabah Tourism #flymetoSabah đŸ‘©đŸ»âœđŸ»đŸ’ŒđŸ“ŹđŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’»

Dear Sabah Tourism,

Yes, Sienny Yong aka SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» would like to explore more about Sabah & Sarawak in the future which both made Malaysia owns the 25% of Borneo’s land. Borneo, the 3ïžâƒŁrd largest island đŸïž in the world 🌎 & divided between 3 countries ie. Indonesia đŸ‡źđŸ‡© , Malaysia đŸ‡ČđŸ‡Ÿ & Brunei 🇧🇳

Once upon a time…

Still recalled her 1ïžâƒŁst fly to Sabah was right after her university graduation đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸŽ“đŸŽ“ & as a graduation celebration đŸŽ‰đŸ„ł trip to reward herself by opting for a hike to Mt Kinabalu (Mt KK) ⛰ (aka Akinabalu by the local Sabahan people), it’s her 1ïžâƒŁst hiking đŸ„Ÿ trip, also to explore Malaysia’s 1ïžâƒŁst heritage site, Kinabalu Park. Hmm…It was really long long ago & at that time she has got no social media platforms to show off her summit photo with her full colour certificate at that time 😃😁 She was hike up with Mesilau route, it’s with beautiful scenery, though slightly longer journey as compared to the route she opted to go down, Timpohon route, a stairs alike route & not comfortable for her tiring legs back then. Guess what❓⁉ Her beautiful colour certificate is nicely kept in the safety deposit box with a local bank 🏩 now, 1ïžâƒŁ of her precious achievements in life âœšđŸ‘đŸ»

Then, her 2ïžâƒŁnd fly to Sabah was as a volunteer to collect & supply stationeries & teaching to some Bajau Laut kids at the rural sea nomad villages of Semporna Island đŸïž Still recalled the chalet hotel that she stayed was being flooded due to a heavy rain đŸŒ§ïž storm & the rising level of sea 🌊 water at that time. She joined her other volunteers together with the chalet staffs to clean up the chalets surrounding. The pure hearts & smiles of the rural kids still warm kept in her heart ❀ It was a memorable weeks spent with the local Sabahan kids & people, sure the kids have all grown up healthily now. Interactions with local people is what SiennyLovesDrawing enjoys & treasures the most, valuable juicy life stories, learning more about local living, cultures etc. Absolutely precious 💕

.

These 2ïžâƒŁ travels to Sabah shared above were happened when she has yet to start her lifestyle blogging here at that time, also she wasn’t active in social media postings too

Then her blogging passion here âœđŸ»đŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’» got noticed & received honourable media invitation 📧 to join the Malaysia Inbound Tourism Association (MITA) business networking 3ïžâƒŁD2ïžâƒŁN trip in 2018. 3ïžâƒŁrd fly to Sabah to explore & then shared her travel stories about the eco tourism at Sabah, read more via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2018/12/17/6-eco-tourism-must-see-in-sabah-malaysian-borneo/ & 📌🌐 https://twitter.com/SiennyLovesDraw/status/1070869540232286208

She was truly amazed & proud as Malaysian because Dairy Farm đŸ‡ČđŸ‡ŸđŸ„đŸź in Kundasang, Sabah making her really like being at a farm in New Zealand đŸ‡łđŸ‡żđŸ˜đŸ€©

So, Sabah Tourism, please #flymetoSabah

Now & future…

What’s SiennyLovesDrawing’s ✅SABAH bucket list❓⁉

✅Steam train with North Borneo Railway along the tracks from Tanjung Aru, through Kinarut to arrive at the Rice Bowl of Sabah, Papar to enjoy views of the paddy fields, traditional village homes on stilts & buffaloes as a train 🚂 travel lover. Lastly, live sharing by a Malaysian student, Ms Admirah about her favourite shine muscat grape, powdery snow in winter ❄ Ohh ya…She reminded all visitors must bring a good camera to capture the beautiful scenery etc. when travelling to Japan

Things To Do @ Fukushima Prefecture

SiennyLovesDrawing loves train ride, so definitely she will enjoy a scenic railway ride on the Oku-Aizu Railway (Tadami Line) which offering fantastic views of the striking natural scenery 🚞✹, especially during autumn & winter seasons

Aizu region with historical sites eg. Tsuruga Castle & Nakadori, with mountainous natural landscapes đŸ”ïž, orchards & hot springs ♚, both have basin areas that remain warm in winter & mountainous areas with cool summers & snowy winters

.

Mugenkyo-no-Watashi River Crossing on the Tadami River via Japanese boat trip around 15mins per way & run between Hayato Onsen pier & the Mifuke area. This was named after the truly wondrous scenery created by the river mist in the mornings & evenings of summer

Tsuruga Castle é¶Žăƒ¶ćŸŽ 🏯 was known for its strong defense, enduring for an entire month under the enemy’s attack during the 1868 war. It’s said to be the only castle in Japan that still has the same red-tiled roof from the time before it was demolished. At top floor, it offers a view of Mt. Bandai & Iimori Hill, also the townscape of Aizu. Ms Abe has recommended this castle as must visit during spring & autumn season

SiennyLovesDrawing đŸ‘©đŸ» also read about this unique Buddhist temple built in 1796 named Sazaedo Temple èžșæ—‹ć ‚ ⛩ (Aizu Sazae-do, officially named Entsusansou-do). It’s still standing strong now after about 220 years, this 3-story temple solely made of wood, looks like a spiral staircase shaped with its ingenious double-helix slope (It allows visitors to ascend & descend the temple structure without meeting those moving in the opposite direction) that makes it in National Important Cultural Property listing in 1995 & also was showcased in Michelin Green Guide in 2018. Visitors will observe a discontinued practice by local Japanese from the plastered family placards of visitors who completed pilgrimages to the temple & gave donations on the roof & walls of this temple. She would definitely visiting it when she is at Aizu-Wakamatsu City, Fukushima. More info via 🌐 http://sazaedo.jp/

.

Hanamiyama Park đŸžïž sets on the slopes of the hills to offers a plethora of cherry trees with many different hues of pink. Must enjoy the walking trails & exploring the recommended picture-taking spots during the sakura season, middle of April in Fukushima

Miharu Takizakura äž‰æ˜„æ»æĄœ is ranked among the Japan’s “3 greatest cherry trees 🌾💼” ~ The Takizakura literally means “waterfall cherry tree” is 1 of the most popular single cherry trees in Japan. The wonderfully shaped weeping cherry tree in the hills of Miharu Town is said to be over 1000 years old

Bandai-Azuma Skyline (Nakadori) is 1 of selected Japan’s top 100 roads, a scenic driving 🚗 route stretches 28.7km to meandering through the Azuma mountain range, between Takayu Onsen & Tsuchiyu Toge Pass. The highlight of the drive is the Fudosawa Bridge 🌉 spanning over the Tsubakuro Valley, the view from the bridge is spectacular as if you’re floating in the sky

.

Tatsusawa Fudotaki Recreation Forest 🌳🌳 in the Tatsusawa Hot Spring village, a great place for an outdoor adventure in this rural setting ie. hiking, waterfalls, visit temples ⛩, skiing â›·ïžđŸŽż, picnic, camping etc.

The Nagatoko is Shingu Kumano Shrine’s worship hall which is designated as a Nationally Important Cultural Asset. Built in 1055 as the main structure during the Heian period to the Kamakura period, its thatched roof is supported by 44 massive pillars, each one 45 cm in diameter. This comprises a single large, open stage with no walls, and is said to have been used for ascetic training by priests, as well as kagura dance festivals

Ouchi-juku性憅柿 is a small village which is located in Aizu Wakamatsu, the west of Fukushima & famous for its beautiful snow â„ïžđŸŒšïžâ„ïž scenery of the Japanese traditional houses village covered by snow in winter

.

Lake Inawashiro çŒȘè‹—ä»Łæč– is Japan’s 4th largest lake, highly transparent, also called “Tenkyoko” in reference to its “mirror-like lake that reflects the heaven. Visitors can enjoy lake bathing, fishing, canoeing etc. Ms Abe has recommended it as 1 of the destination to enjoy winter sports

A long-established sake đŸ¶ brewery named Toyokuni Brewery è±Šć›œé…’é€ , which started its sake brewery business in the Edo period (200 years ago) made from regional rice đŸšđŸŒŸ that local farmers grow in Fukushima & its sake has won a variety of awards đŸ†đŸ…đŸŽ–ïž

Things To Do @ Iwate Prefecture

SiennyLovesDrawing has recently read online about the ONLY lone surviving tree 🌳 of the Takata Pine Forest from the Great East Japan Earthquake & Tsunami in 2011 in Rikuzentakata, Iwate Prefecture đŸ‡ŻđŸ‡”đŸ—Ÿ

This 250-year-old “miracle” pine is the only 1 among 70K trees left standing along the town’s coastline after the disaster. Actually it’s initially survived, but was removed last Sept after its roots died from exposure to saltwater

Now a reconstruction of it stands at its place. Some young pine trees are growing again along the city’s coastline đŸ—Ÿ & thanks to the great đŸ‘đŸ» restore efforts

.

Mr Isrami has highly recommended Geibikei & must be one in the top list‌ Geibikei is a gorge located in Ichinoseki area of Iwate. It’s with beautiful scenery of red, orange and yellow color of autumn leaves 🍁🍂🍁 on the cliff & both sides of the river during autumn with a boat đŸ›¶ ride which steered by local Japanese. Easy 🚃 access by taking train to JR Geibikei station & walk for about 5 mins. More info via 🌐 http://www.geibikei.co.jp/en/index.html

.

For hiking đŸ„Ÿâ›°ïž lovers , Mt. Iwate is the tallest mountain in Iwate prefecture. It is 2,038m tall & can be seen all the way from Aomori Perfecture. It gets snow before most of the other mountains & snow can been seen on it from Oct onward every year

Ms Doris has recommended Hiraizumi for Chuson-ji Buddhist Temple listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s a place not to be missed when visiting Iwate @ Tohoku, Japan. Also to visit the Motsuji Temple which possess 1 of the few remaining Pure Land Gardens in Japan, ie. a popular garden style in ancient times & attempting to recreate the Buddhist concept of the Pure Land or “Buddhist Paradise”. More info via http://hiraizumi.or.jp/en/archive/sightseeing/motsuji.html

.

Hachimantai, it’s a scenic spot in the Iwate Prefecture which shared by Ms Doris in her session. There is a mountain which stands at an altitude of 1,614m & straddles the Akita & Iwate prefectures, it has a plateau around it which has been designated as Towada Hachimantai National Park with seasonal flowers from spring to autumn & snowing in winter. Not to miss the Kagaminuma on the Hachimantai mountaintop promenade aka Dragon Eye when the snow melts from mid-May to mid-June. About 2 hours by bus from JR Morioka Station to Hachimantai & Kagaminuma

Hachimantai Aspite Line Snow Corridor is a 27km mountain sightseeing road that runs through Towada-Hachimantai National Park straddling Iwate & Akita. 1 of the best roads in Japan for a scenic drive with impressively high walls of snow on both sides. The snow walls which can reach a height of 6m. Note: It may be closed during winter due to heavy snow as shown via https://www.facebook.com/Visit.My.Japan/posts/1823397997811059

Ms Doris also recommends Jodogahama Beach aka “Pure Land Beach” which located within Sanriku Geopark in Iwate Prefecture. The clear blue water, white rocks & green pines actually listed in Japan’s 100 Best Beaches of Japan
The Koiwai Farm 氏ćČ©äș•èŸČć Ž as recommended by Mr Isrami to visit for its Mt Iwate backdrop & a agrotourism destination in Iwate, Tohoku. A 3000-hectare private farm since 1891 located scenically at the base of Mt. Iwate & is most famous for its dairy products ie. milk, cheese, yogurt, milk ramen etc. Must visit the museum in Kamimaru Cowshed area to learn about the 125 years of Koiwai Farm history. Must enjoy a ride on the horse tram about 10 mins that has been used for 50 years since 1904 for sightseeing, see sheep grazing on pastures & the view of the beautiful 100 years supervised forest.
