Sepang Corner Healthy Fruit & Florist

Yeah‼️ Sepang is well known for its dragon fruits plantations, in fact the biggest dragon fruits plantations in Malaysia 🇲🇾 , you can easily spot the cactus alike dragon fruits plants almost everywhere here 🤩

This education trip has involved its participants to learn & DIY own bottle of Pitaya Enzyme here, precious learning time gained & at the same time to instill healthy living tips, bravo 👏🏻

Hmm…Before joining, SiennyLovesDrawing was curious 🤔❓⁉️

  • What’s the ratio/ portion❓
  • Fermentation in room temperature❓
  • Need to stir it? If yes, for how many days❓
  • What’s the nutrition of Pitaya enzyme❓
  • How to keep the Pitaya enzyme❓

Guess what❓⁉️

The secret ingredients & tools are simple, just the dragon fruits, lemon & brown sugar, knife 🔪 & glass bottle. The instructor has shared that must use glass bottle for Pitaya Enzyme DIY making, else it will fail…So, do remember ya

The DIY pitaya enzyme steps also easy to follow from the instructor’s guidance,

  1. Wash hand & fruits, then clean & slice the fruits with knife 🔪
  2. Put in all the ingredients layer by layer in the glass bottle
  3. Once full, close the lid & store the glass bottle in a cool & dry place. No need to place in fridge yet
  4. Do shake the bottle gently everyday to get the brown sugar to coat the fruits nicely
  5. The pitaya enzyme should be ready in approximately 3️⃣ weeks
  6. However, once opening the lid for consumption, do place the enzyme in fridge. The 🆒 temperature will slow down the fermentation process & delay the enzyme from turning into vinegar

Do check out SiennyLovesDrawing’s happy DIY pitaya enzyme TikTok clip captured & more photos via 📸🌐 https://www.facebook.com/100004950135932/posts/1779598448881809/

Rail Tourism to Gua Musang Of Kelantan, Malaysia · Things To Do & Day by Day Itinerary

Travel Preparation & Checklist

  • Identification card (I/C) for local Malaysian 🇲🇾 OR international passport 🛂 for foreigners 🙅🏻‍♀️🇲🇾, must ensure at least 6️⃣ months validity ya 👍🏻
  • Digital Certificate of Vaccination 💉 ~ Personally she suggests to screenshot & keep a copy offline in all your devices 📲 to avoid no network OR connectivity issues while travelling to roads less traveled or rural areas then🧳
  • Wef. 1 Dec 2021, COVID-19 RT-PCR or RTK-Ag swab test prior to travel is no longer required, EXCEPT FOR partially vaccinated & not vaccinated prior to entering the state of Kelantan
  • Wef. 1 May 2022, COVID-19 travel insurance is no longer required, however this trip involved extreme sport, travel insurance is advisable
  • Wef. 1 May 2022, MySejahtera Check-ins are no longer required, personally she still will check in whenever she spotted the QR code to record her own journeys

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 is fully vaccinated ✅💉, including booster vaccine, she still performed self test prior & after her trips. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍🏻 for all fully vaccinated travelers whether travelling to/from domestics or international to be PCR tested before & after travel trips for the peace of mind of own safety & the safety of others #kitajagakita

Things To Do & Trip Itinerary @ Gua Musang ğŸžï¸

Gua Musang is a railway 🚂 town

Gua Musang ğŸžï¸ is surrounded by limestone hills & caves, which can provide entertainment for cavers, rock climbers & extreme sports lovers, moreover with Muse Eco Park opening now, do read on this long blog story here to check out her extreme sports experience gained ya 💪🏻👍🏻😃

In the past, trains 🚂🚂 were the only means of transport to this town. This train journey provides a glimpse of village life in the jungle 🌳🌳 hinterland. This is a jungle railway 🚂🌳 not to be missed which runs from the junction at Gemas northwards to Kota Bharu & Tumpat. The green 💚 scenery starts from Jerantut station onwards as shared by the on train expert, Mr Kelvin Khew 🙋🏻‍♂️

Gua Musang KTM train station is distinguished by the natural splendor that surrounds it as it’s situated at the foot of the hill ⛰️ Yes ✅, once the train 🚂 arrived at Gua Musang train station, you will be welcome by the beautiful desolate slope of rocks with deceiving stone stairs that rise to 105m 😍 You will sure enjoy beautiful OOTD moments at this train station 📸🚉

Hmm…The old Gua Musang train station was closed after the great flood in 2014. It’s located at the end of the main street in the old town & now used as 1️⃣ of the must visit heritage spot for all tourists. It’s also 1️⃣ of the best spots 📍 for photography 📸 lovers. Or simply sitting & admiring the splendour, the hill resembles a stone pillar with a large fissure that practically cuts it in half vertically 😍

Day 1️⃣

Met up with all travel mates at Heritage Station Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur KTM train station 🚉 Enjoyed a hot Horlicks & fried noodles while awaiting for the train 🚂 boarding

Address📍: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZNf686gNyzZno7Ei8
Website🌐: https://heritage-station-restaurant.business.site/

A privilege to witness this rail tourism special charter flag ⛳off by Iskandar Mirza Mohd Yusof, Tourism Malaysia’s Domestic & Event Division Senior Director & Deputy Director General (Planning) of Tourism Malaysia with a safe departure of night train 🚂 from Kuala Lumpur KTM train station @ 10.45pm sharp

.

Yeah‼️ On board & checked in to her sleeper 😴💤 seat at upper deck

She loves the privacy privilege at upper deck, though need to climb up & down to reach her sleeper seat 🚂

The train 🚂 moves steady slow towards the destination point @ Gua Musang. The train has stopped by Seremban & Gemas KTM train stations to pick up passengers 👭🏻👬🏻👫🏻 SiennyLovesDrawing has got down to snap some photos at Gemas station with friends 📸😁

Ohh ya…The train will switch its railway 🛤️ & then the train will move in opposite directions 🔄 from Gemas station, so do change to an empty seat 💺 available or enjoy your seating sleep 😴 to avoid any dizziness 😵

Tips on an overnight train ride

  • Do book your lower deck sleeper seat as early as possible, it’s selling like hot cake. For elderly, upper deck is not advisable as it requires to climb up & down 🤗
  • Do wear comfortable clothing as you’re on a long rail ride 🚂
  • Do wear your face mask 😷 on board
  • Must bring sweater 🧥 as the air conditioner is getting stronger at night 🌃
  • Must bring travel pillow ⬜
  • Suggest to bring fully charged power bank & extension cord due to limited power points 🔌 at Chill Relax & Event (Karaoke) coaches on board & on sharing basis
  • Pack light luggage especially if you’re on upper deck sleeper seat. Your luggage bags are needed to place at lower deck. Do not leave your valuables unattended during the rail ride. #sharingiscaring to all #travelbackpack lovers â¤ï¸ğŸŽ’ğŸ’• ~ 15%OFF code “SLD15OFF” & a 🆓 tote bag by purchase every #GastonLuga #backpack or bundle via 🛒🛍️🌐 https://gastonluga.com/my/backpacks , #AnywherewithGL ~ SiennyLoves Drawing loves her 🆕 travel companion with Gaston Luga waterproof backpack ğŸŽ’ ~ Splash 16″ Taupe-Black during this train trip 🇲🇾
  • A pair of comfy shoes, SiennyLovesDrawing has opted 👟 #LuccaVudorSG ~ Absolutely comfy leather sneakers 👟 for this whole trip at Kelantan , loving it 💕❤️for train travel as well as extreme sports @ Muse Eco Park, do read more of her user story via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/06/20/user-experience-comfortable-leather-shoes-from-lucca-vudor/
  • Do sanitize your sleeper deck 1️⃣st before your good night rest

  • No smoking 🚭 allow inside the train 🚂

Do check out her rail travel TikTok clip captured 📹🌐

Day 2️⃣

The foods served in train cafe is good, personally SiennyLovesDrawing loves the pandan coconut fragrance rice with the sweet spicy anchovies sambal 😋👍🏻

Ohh ya…Only limited seats, once you’ve finished your meals, do give chance to other train passengers to enjoy their meals in train cafe 💕

Finally, arrived @ Gua Musang KTM train station after 11 hours train journey @ 🔟am. Bus 🚌 picked up from Gua Mustang train station for a 2️⃣nd breakfast @ Warung Muse , a nice spot to enjoy meals with the scenes of visitors busy via ferrata & flying fox

SiennyLovesDrawing had a cup of hot asam boi ☕ & a slice of toasted bread ğŸž The service was super slow & some of the travel mates got their order wrongly served…Hope the service would be improving greater in her next visit then

Back to Durian Hill Villa for shower 🚿 after the good sweat from the amazing extreme sport activities. Then, checked out from Durian Hill Villa, a happy comfy stay, will be back for sure

Then, had a tasty lunch @ the impressive beautiful Restoran Dalam Taman D’ Tasik

A beautiful Malay traditional house restaurant sits at the bank of Gua Musang Lake Garden. Love the Thai influenced dishes served here especially the tasty fresh lemon steamed fish 🐟

After lunch, SiennyLovesDrawing had a walk at the beautiful lake side & the nicely managed park surrounding this restaurant. Had a good chat with the restaurant owners, Kak Nah & Abah who shared about how they restarted this restaurant from its former restaurant named Restoran Dalam Taman which lost due to the great flood in 2014

Truly impressive & inspiring of the creativity & love of upcycling, go green passionate of Kak Nah. Abah & Kak Nah actually decorated this restaurant with some unique wood pieces that both of them found from river side etc., also she turns some of the plastic fishing stuff ğŸŽ£ into wall art decorations, bravo 👏🏻👏🏻 Abah actually complimented full of love 💕 that his wife, Kak Nah is a creative person, a lovely sweet couple ❤️

Do check out her happy lunch dining at this beautiful lake surrounding Restoran Dalam Taman D’Tasik, you will spot Kak Nah upcycling craft art decorations in her TikTok clip captured 📹🌐

So, here a blog post to sharing in detailed about SiennyLovesDrawing ‘s virtual letter to Sabah Tourism #flymetoSabah 👩🏻✍🏻💌📬👩🏻‍💻

Dear Sabah Tourism,

Yes, Sienny Yong aka SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 would like to explore more about Sabah & Sarawak in the future which both made Malaysia owns the 25% of Borneo’s land. Borneo, the 3️⃣rd largest island 🏝️ in the world ğŸŒŽ & divided between 3 countries ie. Indonesia 🇮🇩 , Malaysia 🇲🇾 & Brunei 🇧🇳

Once upon a time…

Still recalled her 1️⃣st fly to Sabah was right after her university graduation ğŸ‘©ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ“ğŸŽ“ & as a graduation celebration ğŸŽ‰ğŸ¥³ trip to reward herself by opting for a hike to Mt Kinabalu (Mt KK) ⛰️ (aka Akinabalu by the local Sabahan people), it’s her 1️⃣st hiking 🥾 trip, also to explore Malaysia’s 1️⃣st heritage site, Kinabalu Park. Hmm…It was really long long ago & at that time she has got no social media platforms to show off her summit photo with her full colour certificate at that time 😃😁 She was hike up with Mesilau route, it’s with beautiful scenery, though slightly longer journey as compared to the route she opted to go down, Timpohon route, a stairs alike route & not comfortable for her tiring legs back then. Guess what❓⁉️ Her beautiful colour certificate is nicely kept in the safety deposit box with a local bank 🏦 now, 1️⃣ of her precious achievements in life ✨👍🏻

Then, her 2️⃣nd fly to Sabah was as a volunteer to collect & supply stationeries & teaching to some Bajau Laut kids at the rural sea nomad villages of Semporna Island 🏝️ Still recalled the chalet hotel that she stayed was being flooded due to a heavy rain 🌧️ storm & the rising level of sea 🌊 water at that time. She joined her other volunteers together with the chalet staffs to clean up the chalets surrounding. The pure hearts & smiles of the rural kids still warm kept in her heart ❤️ It was a memorable weeks spent with the local Sabahan kids & people, sure the kids have all grown up healthily now. Interactions with local people is what SiennyLovesDrawing enjoys & treasures the most, valuable juicy life stories, learning more about local living, cultures etc. Absolutely precious 💕

.

These 2️⃣ travels to Sabah shared above were happened when she has yet to start her lifestyle blogging here at that time, also she wasn’t active in social media postings too

Then her blogging passion here ✍🏻👩🏻‍💻 got noticed & received honourable media invitation 📧 to join the Malaysia Inbound Tourism Association (MITA) business networking 3️⃣D2️⃣N trip in 2018. 3️⃣rd fly to Sabah to explore & then shared her travel stories about the eco tourism at Sabah, read more via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2018/12/17/6-eco-tourism-must-see-in-sabah-malaysian-borneo/ & 📌🌐 https://twitter.com/SiennyLovesDraw/status/1070869540232286208

There are 4 groups of participants with 4 or 5 members each to complete below group assignments by scanning a QR code & online submission upon completion while exploring the artifacts exhibited in this museum

✅ A list of quiz questions❓ ~ Tips given are all answers can be found within the artifacts gallery in the museum, absolutely a fun way to explore this museum 😀

✅ Word search ğŸ”Ž ~ Tips given are all answers can be found within the artifacts gallery in the museum, absolutely a fun way to explore this museum 😀

.

Ohh ya…Insider news sharing 😀 Mr Peter Augustine has shared that in coming months, this museum will be undergoing an upgrade of its artifacts exhibition. There are many more artifacts collected that the museum needs to exhibit them for all its visitors. This upgrade aims to have more digital savvy, ie. Each artifacts with a short caption displayed, then with a QR code for the visitors to scan & then learning more of each artifacts details. That’s a brilliant ideas. He has added that during this upgrade, the museum will remain open, however partially of the museum, the management is still in the discussion whether the entrance fee will be free during this upgrade period, so check out their FB page for more updates. SiennyLovesDrawing is so looking forward to revisit this museum after its artifacts upgrade then to share more with you all ya 😃😁

.

During this recent Muzium Sg Lembing visiting, SiennyLovesDrawing truly amazed with the Underground Mines Model displayed. If you’re visiting this museum, do spend more time to slowly viewing this model ya 😀 Do check out of SiennyLovesDrawing’s TikTok clip captured from her time spent with this model in her next sharing about the things to do at Sg Lembing, Pahang ya 😃😁

Guess what❓⁉️

She also managed to hear the direct voice from Pakcik Tam, an ex-worker with PCCL in sharing the underground tin mines working situations. Pak Tam as the underground lift operator has shared how the accurate signals being given by the tin mines workers is important for him to take the lift to reach different deepness within the underground tin mines. He told that he needs to be extra careful to ensure it’s the right signals given before he operated the lift each time to avoid any death accident. Hmm…In a way, Pak Tam actually owned a very good hearing ears to carrying out his role. Do check out her TikTok clip captured from Pak Tam’s sharing via 📹🌐 https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSd2qfSw9/

6 Prefectures in Tohoku region, Japan

Tohoku, Japan ~ Fukushima Prefecture & Things To Do

From SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 earlier blogging about the 4 sessions of Japan 🇯🇵 National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Tohoku Online Seminar Secretariat attended with aims to promoting & endorsing Japan 🇯🇵 Tourism in Tohoku region, also to providing the latest information from local municipalities, Tourism Federation & Malaysian presenters who are familiar with the mentioned areas 👍🏻 Tohoku region in Japan 🇯🇵

Again, she really enjoyed this 5th session @ 26 Jan & would like to share some of the important information she has learnt about Fukushima Prefecture 福島県, the 3rd largest perfecture in Japan

.

Similarly, this online seminar kick started with the updates in Japan 🇯🇵 by Ms Farah. Japan international border remains suspended. self quarantine period for cross border travellers has shortened to 10 days. More updated Japan travel details via 🌐 https://www.japan.travel/en/practical-coronavirus-information/ & 🌐 https://www.mofa.go.jp/ca/cp/page22e_000925.html

Ms Farah has also shared about some typical Japanese-style breakfast ie. Washoku, a traditional Japanese cuisine which being recognised as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of its diverse & fresh ingredients, exceptionally well-balanced & healthy to convey the beauty of nature & changing seasons. The common composition of Washoku including rice (Carbohydrate, either plain steamed white, brown/ genmai or mixed rice – seasoned with soy sauce/ dashi/ seasonal ingredients) + 1 soup (Hydration, miso soup – made from fermented soybean paste & a dashi broth with chopped green onion, wakame seaweed & tofu) + 3 dishes (Protein – grilled fish/ rolled eggs, minerals, vitamin & fibre – “Kobaci”, assorted vegetables prepared in different ways) . Ms Farah also honorable mentioned the Natto & TKG – Tamago-kake Gohan. As a typical love to eat foodie, she wants to taste the Kitakata Ramen as recommended by Ms Farah. It served in a refreshing soy sauce soup, consisting of thick noodles with slices of pork, bamboo shoots & spring onions

Sharing from Ms Abe 🙋🏻‍♀️ from Fukushima Tourism Department about 3 major regions of Fukushima ie. Aizu, Nakadori & Hamadori. It’s 90mins train journey from Tokyo. She has shared some famous destinations to visit by each season in Fukushima. The highly acclaimed Fukushima Peach is in Summer season, must enjoy the refreshing tasty Peach Parfait. Also Ms Abe has recommended some unique experiences ie. cycling around to appreciating the beautiful scenery of autumn leaves, winter sports to enjoy at Alts Snow Park & Resort & Higashiyama Onsen, drift taxi, ramen tasting, Samurai performance, Akabeko painting & etc.

.

Lastly, live sharing by a Malaysian student, Ms Admirah about her favourite shine muscat grape, powdery snow in winter ❄️ Ohh ya…She reminded all visitors must bring a good camera to capture the beautiful scenery etc. when travelling to Japan

Things To Do @ Fukushima Prefecture

SiennyLovesDrawing loves train ride, so definitely she will enjoy a scenic railway ride on the Oku-Aizu Railway (Tadami Line) which offering fantastic views of the striking natural scenery ğŸšžâœ¨, especially during autumn & winter seasons

Aizu region with historical sites eg. Tsuruga Castle & Nakadori, with mountainous natural landscapes 🏔️, orchards & hot springs ♨️, both have basin areas that remain warm in winter & mountainous areas with cool summers & snowy winters

.

Mugenkyo-no-Watashi River Crossing on the Tadami River via Japanese boat trip around 15mins per way & run between Hayato Onsen pier & the Mifuke area. This was named after the truly wondrous scenery created by the river mist in the mornings & evenings of summer

Tsuruga Castle 鶴ヶ城 🏯 was known for its strong defense, enduring for an entire month under the enemy’s attack during the 1868 war. It’s said to be the only castle in Japan that still has the same red-tiled roof from the time before it was demolished. At top floor, it offers a view of Mt. Bandai & Iimori Hill, also the townscape of Aizu. Ms Abe has recommended this castle as must visit during spring & autumn season

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 also read about this unique Buddhist temple built in 1796 named Sazaedo Temple 螺旋堂 ⛩️ (Aizu Sazae-do, officially named Entsusansou-do). It’s still standing strong now after about 220 years, this 3-story temple solely made of wood, looks like a spiral staircase shaped with its ingenious double-helix slope (It allows visitors to ascend & descend the temple structure without meeting those moving in the opposite direction) that makes it in National Important Cultural Property listing in 1995 & also was showcased in Michelin Green Guide in 2018. Visitors will observe a discontinued practice by local Japanese from the plastered family placards of visitors who completed pilgrimages to the temple & gave donations on the roof & walls of this temple. She would definitely visiting it when she is at Aizu-Wakamatsu City, Fukushima. More info via 🌐 http://sazaedo.jp/

.

Hanamiyama Park ğŸžï¸ sets on the slopes of the hills to offers a plethora of cherry trees with many different hues of pink. Must enjoy the walking trails & exploring the recommended picture-taking spots during the sakura season, middle of April in Fukushima

Miharu Takizakura 三春滝桜 is ranked among the Japan’s “3 greatest cherry trees 🌸💮” ~ The Takizakura literally means “waterfall cherry tree” is 1 of the most popular single cherry trees in Japan. The wonderfully shaped weeping cherry tree in the hills of Miharu Town is said to be over 1000 years old

Bandai-Azuma Skyline (Nakadori) is 1 of selected Japan’s top 100 roads, a scenic driving 🚗 route stretches 28.7km to meandering through the Azuma mountain range, between Takayu Onsen & Tsuchiyu Toge Pass. The highlight of the drive is the Fudosawa Bridge 🌉 spanning over the Tsubakuro Valley, the view from the bridge is spectacular as if you’re floating in the sky

.

Tatsusawa Fudotaki Recreation Forest 🌳🌳 in the Tatsusawa Hot Spring village, a great place for an outdoor adventure in this rural setting ie. hiking, waterfalls, visit temples ⛩️, skiing â›·ï¸ğŸŽ¿, picnic, camping etc.

The Nagatoko is Shingu Kumano Shrine’s worship hall which is designated as a Nationally Important Cultural Asset. Built in 1055 as the main structure during the Heian period to the Kamakura period, its thatched roof is supported by 44 massive pillars, each one 45 cm in diameter. This comprises a single large, open stage with no walls, and is said to have been used for ascetic training by priests, as well as kagura dance festivals

Ouchi-juku大内宿 is a small village which is located in Aizu Wakamatsu, the west of Fukushima & famous for its beautiful snow ❄️🌨️❄️ scenery of the Japanese traditional houses village covered by snow in winter

.

Lake Inawashiro 猪苗代湖 is Japan’s 4th largest lake, highly transparent, also called “Tenkyoko” in reference to its “mirror-like lake that reflects the heaven. Visitors can enjoy lake bathing, fishing, canoeing etc. Ms Abe has recommended it as 1 of the destination to enjoy winter sports

A long-established sake 🍶 brewery named Toyokuni Brewery 豊国酒造, which started its sake brewery business in the Edo period (200 years ago) made from regional rice 🍚🌾 that local farmers grow in Fukushima & its sake has won a variety of awards ğŸ†ğŸ…ğŸŽ–ï¸
