Impressive Bon Om Touk ~ Cambodian Water Festival 2018

Yeah‼️ SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 is gonna sharing 👩🏻‍💻📝 here about her impressive 🤩 & unforgettable experience gained from the annual Cambodian 🇰🇭 Water 💦💧 Festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ, Phnom Penh, Cambodia 🇰🇭

So, it was all started with a short queue to get her 👩🏻 cheap ⬇️ flight ticket ✈️ during the AirAsia BIG Xchange & BIG Fest event ❤️ in Sept (as shown in the short clip ğŸ“¹ğŸŽ¥below). It was with only a limited choice of destinations📍📍available

She 👩🏻 has chosen ✅ for Phnom Penh 🇰🇭 under Lane B with a very 1️⃣st intention to meet & visit 1️⃣ of her girlfriend 🙋🏻‍♀️ who is working there as an expatriate currently. However, sadly 😟 that her friend 🙋🏻‍♀️ wasn’t around ❌ Phnom Penh 🇰🇭 during her travel dates 🗓 Sigh…From a friend visit👭, then she had it as 1️⃣ of her annual solo travelsss ğŸŽ’ğŸ§¢ğŸ•¶ğŸ‘Ÿ

💗 ~ Everything Happens For A Reason ~ 💗

Also initially she 👩🏻 did plan to let go this solo trip because of a clash to a tourism event ~ MITA Sarawak, Malaysia 🇲🇾 that she 👩🏻 has always supporting 💪🏻✌🏻the tourism authority 😊 in Malaysia 🇲🇾️

Guess what❓⁉️

Her trip is gonna be during the annual Cambodian 🇰🇭 Water 💦💧 Festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠÂ named Bon Om Touk in local Khmer language 🇰🇭 from 21 Nov to 23 Nov 2018 😃😁 It also known as The Pirogue 🚣🏻‍♂️🚣🏻‍♀️ Racing Festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠÂ or Water 💦💧 & Moon 🌑 Festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ & Boat Racing 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️

http://cambodia-tourism.org/plan-your-trip/events/cambodian-water-festival/

It was really a coincident‼️ Once she 👩🏻 has decided ✅ to stay with this solo travel ğŸŽ’ğŸ•¶ğŸ§¢ğŸ‘Ÿ due to the complicated & difficult flight change 😟✈️ Also this gonna be her 1️⃣st visit to Phnom Penh, Cambodia 🇰🇭

This biggest celebration marks a 12th century naval victory with boat 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ racing along the Sisowath Quay 💦💧 with the boat 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ racing on the Tonle Sap River, in particular the area stretching from street 104 to street 178 of Phnom Penh city centre 🇰🇭

Many hostels 🏡🏘, hotels 🏢, restaurants 🍽🍴 & bars 🥂🍻🍸around this area ~ Very convenience for all visitors 👫👭👬

Photo 27-11-2018, 3 21 18 PMPhoto 27-11-2018, 3 22 33 PM

In the morning 🔅🔆 & before the race 🚣🏻‍♂️🚣🏻‍♀️ starts during this 3️⃣-day festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽ€, the riverside & streets were much more peaceful 😌

Once the race starts around 🔟am, the huge crowd 👭👬👫 at the riverside will be observed 😃👏🏻🙌🏻

However, in 2015 this celebration ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ was cancelled ❌ due to the low ⬇️ water level 💦💧

Hurray‼️ She 👩🏻 always wanna appreciating & experiencing a country’s tradition culture during her travels âœˆï¸ğŸŽ’ğŸ•¶ğŸ§¢ğŸ‘ŸÂ This is just so a lovely 💓 coincidence 😉

So, what’s this water 💦💧 festival ğŸŽŠğŸŽ‰ all about❓⁉️

It’s a 3️⃣ days non-religious celebration ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ & symbolised as an ancient appreciation 🙏🏻 for centuries to the river 💦💧for providing a source of livelihood to the farmers 👨🏻‍🌾👩🏻‍🌾 & fishermen ğŸŸğŸŽ£

Hmm…It’s a kind of local Khmers 🇰🇭👫👭👬 thanksgiving 🙏 celebration ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ

The Cambodian boat crews 🇰🇭🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ were face forward. Many of the boat crews 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ were complemented with a colorfully-costumed lady 💁🏻‍♀️at the prow dancing to the beat of the drums 🥁🥁

However, from her observation, majority of the boats now don’t really practising this tradition though. Hmm…From her 2️⃣ days visits to the festival, she only noticed for 2️⃣ boats with a colorfully-costumed lady 💁🏻‍♀️ at the front of the boat 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️

For the 1️⃣st 2️⃣ days, races 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ are run with 2️⃣ boats 🛶🛶 each, with the big race 🚣🏻‍♂️🚣🏻‍♂️ happening on the last day, when all the boats 🛶🛶 take to the river 💦💧 to compete 😃

There were carnival, rides, traditional music ğŸŽ¼ğŸŽ¶ğŸŽµ performances, dances 💃🏻🕺🏼👯‍♀️👯‍♂️🕴🏻etc. in the evening 🏙🌃🌌

There were many stall vendors, definitely food 🍛🍲🥘🍽🍴& drink 🥤🍻🍷🥂🍸🍹overflow on the streets, Khmer pop bands ğŸŽ¼ğŸŽ¹ğŸŽ§ğŸŽ¶ğŸŽµentertaining the crowds 👭👬👫 etc.

Photo 27-11-2018, 12 43 20 PM

Personally, she 👩🏻 was impressed how the local vendors actually earn their living 💰by selling drinks 🥤& snacks 🥡🍰🥧🥪 to the huge crowds 👭👬👫 at the riverside during the boat racing 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️

There were approximately 300 boats 🛶🛶 with 19k pax of boat rowers 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ Wow!!

Hmm…🤔 How about the huge crowd 👭👫👬attended for this 3️⃣-day festival celebration ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ in Phnom Penh❓⁉️

IMG_4571.JPG

It was about 4.5million people 👭👬👫 including expatriates, foreign visitors, local Khmers from all provinces etc. as shared at the closing ceremony 😁

Ohh yeah‼️ This year, 2018 i.e. The 3rd great successfull year with Cambodia 🇰🇭 has handbuilt the world 🌍🗺 ‘s longest rowing boat 🚣🏻‍♀️ at 87.3m long & 1.99m wide with cost of $60k. It was completed successfully 👍🏻👏🏻🙌🏻 in Sept by more than 14k local Khmers 🇰🇭👭👬👫 in 192 days 😲😃

Guess what❓⁉️

Another Guinness World 🌍🗺 Record 🏆 won (It’s the 5️⃣th one) by Cambodia 🇰🇭 as this long dragon boat 🚣🏻‍♂️ is capable of carrying 179 boat rowers 🚣🏻‍♂️🚣🏻‍♀️ on it‼️ Wow‼️😲 This great 👍🏻 news was anounced on 12 Nov at Prey Veng province of Phnom Penh 🇰🇭

From her own experience, a few points 📌📌 to note if you’re interested to be at Phnom Penh or Siem Reap for this great 👍🏻 annual celebration ğŸŽŠğŸŽ‰

Ohh ya…A pair of comfy shoes 👟 is essentials ✅ because it was vehicles free 🆓 i.e. No public transport ❌🚌🚕🚗 🚐 being available to the festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ ground📍, more details via 🌐 https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50551697/city-hall-issues-vehicle-ban-for-water-festival/

In this connection, the only option would be just getting around by your own foot 👣

Yeah‼️ SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 got her sun â˜€ï¸ğŸŒž protection from the 🆕Petal Velvet Sunaway SPF50 ordered & purchased 👩🏻‍💻🛒 from Althea Korea 🇰🇷 You must remember to put up your sunscreen to avoid sunburn

Photo 27-11-2018, 12 35 31 PM.jpg

Next, do bring an umbrella 🌂☂ (You may loan it from your hotel, it can be a weapon if needed)/ wear a cap 🧢

Do dress up in a light modest clothing 👚 to enjoy the boat 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ race cheerings with the local Khmers 🇰🇭👭👬👫 at the riverside under the hot sunny ğŸ˜Žâ˜€ï¸ day

Ohh ya…Do remember your refillable water 💦💧 bottle to avoid dehydration ya 😌

She 👩🏻 was with the local Khmers 🇰🇭👫👭👬 on her 1️⃣st visit & then 2️⃣nd visit the next day at the designated area by Tourism Cambodia 🇰🇭 for the foreign tourists 👬👫👭 (Served with free 🆓 flow of drinks🥤🥤available)

The riversides 💦💧 were extremely packed & crowded 👬👫👭 with both the local Khmers 🇰🇭👫👭👬 & foreign tourists to cheering for their favorite ❤️ boats🚣🏻‍♂️🚣🏻‍♀️during the races, so suggest you to bring only the bare necessities & hold on tight to what you have. Also being alert with your surroundings too while in the huge crowd 👭👬👫

Why❓⁉️

Hmm…You never know whether you will be being targetted by any pick-pockets/ bag-snatchers 😈👿 whom may just roaming around the crowded festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ riversides 💦💧& streets. So, even though this festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ is a free 🆓 celebration ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ , however it can get really expensive if you make a mistake by carrying valuables into the crowds 👭👬👫

Always better be safe then sorry ya ☺️😉

There were several types of rowing 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ styles observed from her visits, i.e. sitting down & manual rowing, standing up & manual rowing, standing up & auto rowing etc. She 👩🏻 is curious 🤔 how the marks will be allocate within each different styles as well as the determining factors of winning ğŸ†ğŸŽ– too❓⁉️

Perhaps logically the shortest time 🕛 of completion from the start till end time of each boat at the finishing line (The 2️⃣ red ❤️ boats 🚣🏻‍♀️🚣🏻‍♂️ as captured in the photo 📸 & vBlog ğŸ“¹ğŸŽ¥below)

There were live announcement during the boat racing 🚣🏻‍♂️🚣🏻‍♀️, however in local Khmer 🇰🇭 language & ❌ no English translation. It would be good to have a live English announcement in the next year festival onwards ya 😊

The King Norodom Sihamoni 🤴🏻, Prime Minister Hun Sen 👨🏻‍💼& some senior officials 🙋🏻‍♂️💁🏻‍♂️ have all attended the closing ceremony on the last day of this festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ She 👩🏻 has observed from the TV screen 📺 at the foreign visitors designated booth

Ohh ya…She 👩🏻 has enjoyed the longest & the pretty 😍🤩 fireworks ğŸŽ†ğŸŽ‡ so far from the closing ceremony of this water festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ

Really amazing beautiful 😍🤩 & with the boats 🛶🛶 decorated with LED lighting💡💡screens represented by each relevant authorities of organising & managing this water 💦💧 festival ğŸŽŠğŸŽ‰ e.g. Tourism, Justice, Ministry of Art & Handicrafts etc. to name a few noted 😉

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has captured a vBlog ğŸ“¹ğŸŽ¥ for sharing here, do click in to enjoy it ya 🤗

Ohh ya…Some of the eateries 🍽🍴 & shops 🛒🛍may close ⛔️ during this water 💦💧 festival ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ (All 3️⃣ days) & resume their operation then 🤗

This festival ğŸŽŠğŸŽ‰ also ended with lots of clean up & tidy up at the riverside by the local Khmers 🇰🇭👬👬👬

Photo 27-11-2018, 2 02 44 PMPhoto 27-11-2018, 2 05 56 PM

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 was blessed 😇 that she 👩🏻 stay with her decision to continue with this solo travel & really enjoyed this water 💦💧 festival celebration ğŸŽŠ ğŸŽ‰ & highly recommended 👍🏻👆🏻to all travellers that would like to appreciating & participating local heritage & cultures celebration. Definitely worth your time to learn the unique local Khmers🇰🇭👬👫👭’ lifestyle better

Art In The City ~ Bringing Malaysian Arts to the People

Yeah‼️ As a self taught artist ğŸ‘©ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ & art lover 💗, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 was proud to receive an exclusive privilege 📩📧💌 recently to attend the official launch ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ of Art In The City (AITC) 😃

Definitely it was a meaningful launch ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ being officiated with the arrival of the Minister of Federal Territories, 👨🏽‍💼 YB Tuan Haji Khalid bin Abd Samad who shown the strong support 💪🏻 for the development of the local arts & acknowledged that Malaysia 🇲🇾 is a nation brimming with talent. However, it may currently lack of supported avenues & right policies that can contribute in showcasing its potential 😁

An art inspiring welcome 🤗 speech by the Founding CEO of Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA), 👩🏽‍💼 Pn Izan Satrina Mohd Sallehuddin with her great art passion 👍🏻🙌🏻

“A project with this scale requires the support 💪🏻 from many counterparts & we own our heartfelt 💕 gratitude 🙏🏻 to all our partners’ for their direct & indirect contributions to AITC. Some have facilitated & hosted the artworks, while others have worked to ensure the integrity of artwork is maintained with its advance technology & nevertheless, all of them have helped in making the vision of AITC a reality. Together, we will be able to position Kuala Lumpur (KL) 🌆🏙 as an upcoming cultural capital in addition to making Malaysia 🇲🇾 known for its great arts & artists.” presented by Pn Izan 👩🏽‍💼

All guests 👫👭👬 were impressed 🤩 with an amazing Dikir Barat performanceÂ ğŸŽ¤ğŸŽ¼ğŸŽ¶ğŸŽµ by PUSAKA

Not just that, also with an exclusive chance to greet & meet each of the featured artists ğŸ‘©ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘¨ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘©ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘¨ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ of AITC

Hmm…What’s all about AITC❓⁉️

What❓🚸

It’s a campaign with collaboration 🤝 between Ministry of Federal Territories, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), CENDANA & 12 other partners unite to bring Malaysian arts ğŸ‡²ğŸ‡¾ğŸŽ¨ğŸ–Œ to the people 👭👬👫 by showcasing local Malaysian artists ğŸ‡²ğŸ‡¾ğŸ‘©ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘¨ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘©ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘¨ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ in addition to promoting the inherent value of culture in defining our national identity 👍🏻😍

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 was shared with this campaign from her artists’ ğŸ‘ğŸ‘¬ğŸ‘«ğŸŽ¨ğŸ–Œcommunity when it was 1️⃣st open with a call for local artists’ ğŸ‡²ğŸ‡¾ğŸ‘¨ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘©ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘¨ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘©ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ to submit artworks that represents Malaysia 🇲🇾 in Jan 2018 😀

Amidst the historic KL iconic buildings 🌆🏙, AITC brings together the cultural backdrop & stories in this thriving city 🌆🏙 by transforming the landscape into a colourful visual experience as a must-see destination📍for art lovers, local Malaysian ciitizens, expatriates & foreign tourists👭👬👫

Where❓⁉️

After reading 📖 about AITC, sure you are curious 🤔 where to locate📍the artworks ğŸŽ¨ğŸ–ŒğŸ–¼ğŸ–¼ of AITC from the featured Malaysian local artists ğŸ‡²ğŸ‡¾ğŸ‘¨ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘©ğŸ½â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘¨ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨ğŸ‘©ğŸ»â€ğŸŽ¨

All the artworks 🖼🖼 are being displayed cum showcased prominently at strategic locations📍📍with high visibility ⬆️👁👁👀 across the KL city 🌆🏙 e.g. National Art Gallery, Lot 10, KL Citywalk (KLCW) etc. & digital billboards around the city 😍

It’s all from great joint synergised efforts 🤝🙌🏻with both public & private partners between Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture (MOTAC), National Art Gallery, LEDTRONICS, KL Citywalk, Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB), Lot 10, Bursa Malaysia Berhad, Wisma Maran, Maybank Foundation, The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad (NSTP), Wariscan, KL Hop-On Hop-Off etc. to ensure optimum reach at high ⬆️ traffic areas in the heart ❤️ of KL city 🌆🏙, art galleries & museums 🏛

Petaling Street ~ Chinatown KL, Malaysia

Yeah‼️ SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 is gonna sharing 👩🏻‍💻📝 her recent visit with media friends to Petaling Street aka Chinatown ⛩ in Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia 🇲🇾

Chinatown ⛩ was founded since 1857 with its expanded inhabitants population, the Chinese community 👭👬👫 around the commercial centre around Petaling Street. Petaling Street or famously called in Cantonese dialect “Chee Cheong Kai” is a bazaar with a wide selections of food stalls 🥘🍛🍜 & souvenirs ğŸ›’ğŸ›ğŸŽ stalls. Most of the stalls operate from 🔟am till late night 🌃🌌

She 👩🏻 used to have her secondary after school tuition 📖✍🏻 at this area back then. She has recalled some of her old memories 💭 , especially her favourite iced longan drink 🥤 & fresh tau foo fa aka douhua with soya milk 🥛 stalls

2018-10-16 15.51.27.jpg

Her mama 👵🏻 used to drop by the fried chesnuts 🌰 stall to pack for her grandma 🧓🏻 before her whole family 👭👫👬 was travelling back 🚘🚗 to her mama🧓🏻’s hometown for festive celebration ğŸŽ‰ğŸŽŠ

Also her grandma 🧓🏻 loves ❤️ to wear the wooden clogs 👡 木屐, she wore as normal sandals, not just for toilet 🚽 though. She still recalled she loves ❤️ to wear, walk 🚶🏻‍♀️around & play with her grandma 🧓🏻 wooden clogs 👡 when she was a kid 🧒🏻 Just because of the clogs 👡 sound hitting on the ground 👣 “kick kok….kick kok…” Ha…Ha…😂🤣😆

MITA Showcasing Tourism Producsts Negeri Sembilan ğŸ‡²ğŸ‡¾

Yeah‼️ SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has recently participated as 1️⃣ of the media members 👭👫👬 for the Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association (MITA)’s Business Networking 2️⃣D1️⃣N trip ğŸŽ’ğŸ•¶ğŸ§¢Â at Negeri Sembilan (N9️⃣) 🇲🇾 with approximately 250 pax of the tourism industry players/ delegates 👭👫👬 from nationwide 🇲🇾in particular Negeri Sembilan, KL, JB etc. & Singapore 🇸🇬

Wow‼️ Congrats 👏🏻🙌🏻 for this successful tourism event organised towards achieving tourism productivity of 4.1% a year i.e. aligning with the Government initiative 🙌🏻✌🏻

This is her 2️⃣nd participation, 1️⃣st was at Langkawi Island 🌴🏖🏝, refer link 👩🏻‍💻📝 below,

With the continuous great 👍 effort of organising more tourism events moving forward, surely will increasing ⬆️ the 1.1% growth of 2017 overall tourism employment rate & future years 👏🏻🙌🏻

This tourism event was held📍with concurrent sessions in the grand ballroom of Royale Chulan Seremban 🏢,

  • Malaysian Productivity Council (MPC) exhibition
  • ezBE consultation ~ An online self- assessment tool to gauge an entity/ organisation’s succes, more details via http://wayup.my/index.php/ezbe-assessment-tool/
  • Productivity Gain Measurement (PGM) consultation ~ Productivity measurement on an organisation’s efficiency before & after interventions completed, more details via http://www.mpc.gov.my/epgm/
  • B2B networking
  • Small Medium Enterprises (SME) Products Showcasing by the Seremban Municipal Council (MPS)

Hmm…What’s the objectives 📌 of this MITA Business To Business (B2B) at N9️⃣❓⁉️

MITA aims to,

1) Showcasing Tourism Products @ N9️⃣

2) Networking among tourism players 👭👫👬

3) Maximizing ⬆️ the productivity of local tourism asset, including locally produced art & craft ğŸŽ¨ğŸ–Œ

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 had an awesome 🤩 learning experience of handmaking 👐🏻🙌🏻 a colourful 🌈 basket with rattan at the booth of Malaysia 🇲🇾 Handicraft Development Corporation ~ N9️⃣ branch 😀

4) Providing a platform 🗣👥👤👥 to identify issues & challenges in hampering productivity growth 📈

She 👩🏻 has learnt a lot from the forum 🗣👥👤👥 which moderated by YBhg Dato’ K Thangavelu ~ “Challenges & Opportunities for Tourism in Negeri Sembilan” with panelists from Tourism Malaysia, N9️⃣ Economic Planning unit (EPU), MPS, MITA’ s Chinese Individual Market & MITA’s Incentive group

Some of the challenges faced to continue developing N9️⃣ as a greater 👍🏻 tourist destination📍among both local & foreign tourists👭👫👬 including low ⬇️ awareness of its tourist spots📍📍to visit, having enough multi-language talented tourist guides 👫👬👭especially to service the increasing trend of China 🇨🇳 tourists 👭👫👬, greater 👍🏻 transportation infrastructure ğŸšŠğŸš–ğŸšžğŸšŒ in place to receiving greater ⬆️ no. of tourists 👭👬👫 to N9️⃣ etc.

5) Having engagement opportunities on strategic planning, best management practices & collaboration with government agencies, industry & community leaders 👭👬👫

6) Receiving the latest update on strategies by Local Tourism Authorities i.e. Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), MPS, Tourism Productivity Nexus, MPC etc. 👍🏻

7) Implementing Tourism Product Audit practices

The choice of tourist destinations📍 are both Seremban & Port Dickson (PD) of N9️⃣, West Malaysia 🇲🇾 Hmm…Why N9️⃣❓⁉️

“It’s because N9️⃣ located📍in between South states of West Malaysia 🇲🇾 to Kuala Lumpur (KL) 🌆🌃 & both local & foreign tourists 👫👭👬 will passing by whenever travelling on the road 🚗🚕🚌🚐 from South, however most of the time missing it by not ❌ stopping by to learn more & experiencing its Adat Perpatih cultures” said Mr Uzaidi Udanis 👨🏽‍💼, the President of MITA & Chairman of the Tourism Productivity Nexus during the event

This actually aligns with the low ⬇️ awareness of its exciting places to visit in N9️⃣ as shared during the forum 🗣👥👤👥 , refer item 4 above

Hmm…Curious 🤔 about where are the exciting tourist destinations📍📍within N9️⃣❓⁉️

You may check out her 👩🏻 tweets 📌 thread with 42 replies of trip updates shared 😉😀

Updated @ 10.5.2018 9am

So many matters happened since 6 May when SiennyLovesDrawing has rushed back from her working tripsss to attend 2 friends’ wedding ceremonies supposedly (meant to be a surprise to both of her friends). However, early morning of 6 May, received a phone call that her big uncle (mama’s family) has passed away

Sigh…Whole family members then rushed to Pahang to be with the big uncle’s family, helped for the wake preparation & attendance till 8 May. She really missed this big uncle so much as since young, he always bought him books & stationeries whenever he came to KL to visiting her family back then.

May you rest in peace, “dua gu” (big uncle in Hokkien dialect)

Then, rushed back to KL as whole family went for #GE14 #509 as a responsible Malaysians
