It’s a beautiful Isan region with multiple national parks, Khmer temples to explore & enjoy plenty of hot & spicy 🌶️🥵 Isan cuisine to devour. In this anniversary celebration of Baan Bai Sri Muang, 241 years of prosperity, Sisaket Province, almost 5K dancers from all 22 districts actually travelled to participate in the opening ceremony & then dance to celebrate 241 years of Sisaket Province in a grand way at the His Majesty the King’s 80th Birthday Anniversary Park on Huai Nam Kham Island of Sisaket Province

Not just that, the next day evening ie. 20 Nov, she was there again to enjoy the beautiful & colourful drone show
Yes ✅, the National Research Council, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research & Innovation & the Model & Radio-controlled Airplane Sports Association all organized a ceremony of a demonstration of the drone display to promote Tourism & a celebration ✨🎂🎉🥳 of ~ Su Khwan Ban, Bai Sri Muang, 241 Years of Prosperity, Sisaket Province ~

Wat Trai Samakkhi / Phaya Naga พญานาค Island Temple
“Wow 🤩” was SiennyLovesDrawing’s 1️⃣st immediate reaction when she stepped into this temple area & viewed the huge beautiful silver blue & white statues of the whole Phaya Naga Island & Buddha
Absolutely 💯 worth a visit, so grand & beautiful
It began construction on 16 March 2020 & then was officially opened to the public on 31 Dec 2022 to commemorate Luang Pho Prathanphon & to make Phaya Naga Island a cultural tourist attraction of Pho Si Suwan District, Sisaket
It’s with a steam mist maker & hence making this island looks more surreal magical 💨🤩

It’s considered as 1️⃣ of the beautiful temples with its glittering golden temple ✨💛🛕 in the south of the Northeastern Thailand 🇹🇭 that are worth visiting to make merit & pay homage to & admire the murals depicting stories from Jataka tales & Buddha’s life
Si Bung Bun temple was built from the wishes of Phra Ajarn Sri Chanthasaro who intends to build a Buddhist temple for the monks to practise with the beauty of architecture & nature surrounding. Do remember to remove shoes ❌👟 at entrance to enter this beautiful temple
Its majestic entrance to this temple with great 👍🏻💛✨ golden reflections is bordered by immense protective snakes with several heads, the Naga 🤩😲
Yes ✅, starting from its entrance, you will notice the temple arch in ancient Khmer art. The gable is an image of Lord Shiva & Naga statues on both sides of its temple entrance . It’s built with Ayutthaya & Rattanakosin architecture & consists of a total of 32 pillars & 5 doors made of intricately carved teak wood
It owns an almost identical replica of the famous Buddha of Phitsanulok named Phra Phuttha Chinnarat พระพุทธชินราช, 1️⃣ of the most beautiful examples of Sukhothai art

Khao Phra Wihan means ‘Preah Vihear’ in Khmer language. Preah Vihear temple is a remarkable ancient Shiva temple that is under direct protection of UNESCO World Heritage Site since 7 July 2008. During SiennyLovesDrawing’s recent visit, she was told that both Thailand 🇹🇭 & Cambodia 🇰🇭 are in a favourable discussion to reach agreement to have the national park entrance up to the temple from both countries with a fee then, so let’s wait for the good news soon ya 😃😁

This Thai Buddhist temple 🛕 is in a remote area of the Phanom Dong Rak Mountains, Phu Sing District of Sisaket which built with red bricks 🧱
It contains a Khmer Sanctuary of the famously known “Angel Monk” (deceased) Guru Monk Luang Phu Suang หลวง สรวง สรวง who was believed by many local Thais to be over 500 years old at the time of his death, 8 Sept 2000 ~ Luang Pu Sruang ~ Sanetuary International Significant Heritage Place 24 Jan 2020 ~
SiennyLovesDrawing & her travel mates were came to this temple to pay homage & respect to the mummified body of Guru Monk Luang Phu Suang in a glass coffin ⚰️ The coffin is placed in the centre of this temple
It’s advisable that all visitors can offer a bouquet 💐 by purchasing it right before entering the temple, pray & then governed to passing under the glass coffin for 3️⃣ times as a blessing 🙏🏻
There are side galleries that leading to the coffin ⚰️ with paintings represented Guru Monk Luang Pu Suang

Tips📌: It’s advisable to wear modest & polite whenever visit to any religious sites. No sleeveless, shorts, free hair etc. subjects to each different religion’s beliefs. You may opt to rent the clothes, scarf or rope prepared at certain religious sites for the tourists either at no fee or a donation basis at entrance. As a travel lover, SiennyLovesDrawing always packed a long skirt/ pant 👖, scarf 🧣, jacket 🧥 or a cap 🧢 in her backpack 🎒, so that she can do a quick change, just in case she wishes to visit any religious sites during her travel journeys.
