Mutiara Figs Garden

Fig aka Buah Tin in Malaysia’s ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ national language, it was mentioned specifically in Al-Qur’an

This garden was founded by Mr Mohd. Hilmi bin Yusoff at his own house ๐Ÿก at Seksyen 7, Shah Alam, Selangor ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ As an architect himself & his wife, Mrs Faridah Hasni binti Ramli love landscaping to beautify their home, gardening being influenced & trained by his late father, especially orchids

Guess whatโ“โ‰๏ธ

Mr Hilmi has humbly shared that his home landscaping actually won award before, wow ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป He actually planting figs at 1๏ธโƒฃst as a hobby & passion with exotic plants at home backyard, till the family collected up to 300 varieties of figs & discovering its health benefits & nutrition found in fig fruits & leaves, so then this 2๏ธโƒฃ acres figs garden since 2017 ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป & expanding to more fig processed products eg. Jam, sambal & many more to bring more awareness for people to know fig & its health benefits especially high in antioxidants to reduce chance of cancer

It’s now a family managed business & through her chat with Mr Hilmi, she is impressed how this father actually supported his kids, 2๏ธโƒฃ daughters & a son in this fig business. He sees the potential in this fig business, although he shared that this business yet to make profits. He also explained that they are in the midst of getting halal certification, hopefully soon ๐Ÿ”œ & it would definitely help in penetrating his fig business to export to overseas

The Fig dessert operations started in 2020, yes โœ…, during pandemic lockdown time to supply to hotels, restaurants, cafes etc. because the shelf life of fig fruits just within 3๏ธโƒฃ days & the challenge to transport fresh fig fruits to other destinations, so innovate with fig cheese tarts with jam & fresh fruits as topping. Online booking available on its website. Mr Hilmi has shared that he intends & is currently exploring whether to have fresh fig fruits in tube form for easy transportation & consumption at the same time, just similar like the tube honey that available in the market now

๐Ÿ†“ admission

The Honorable Tuan Mohd Zawawi bin Ahmad Mughni ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿ’ผ, Chairman of the the Islamic Affairs, Consumer Affairs & Halal Industry Committee of the State of Selangor also visited here with the media members. He is so proud & happy that Mutiara Fig Garden is brave to take charge in this fig plantation in Selangor, Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ This is 1๏ธโƒฃ of the agro tourism destinations in Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ for an educational tour & know more about this fig plant. Mr Hilmi has informed that he has yet to apply for halal certification, though it’s Muslims family business owned & using MARDI techniques & skills. The Honorable Tuan Mohd Zawawi has encouraged Mr Hilmi to proceed in its halal certification application, despite the technical concerns always take time for JAKIM to grant halal certification to all applications eg. Each raw ingredients sources etc. In fact, The Honorable Tuan Mohd Zawawi told that himself & team is currently trying to plan to have some contemporary settings in place to help & facilitate the halal certification applications moving forward of Selangor entrepreneurs

SiennyLovesDrawing has learnt the ๐Ÿ”Ÿ health benefits of figs here ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  • Powerful antioxidants (Fruits & leaf)
  • Anti cancer (Fruits)
  • Boost immunity (Fruits)
  • Anti bacterial & anti fungal (Fruits)
  • Nutrient dense (Fruits & leaf)
  • โฌ†๏ธ in Potassium & help In high blood pressure (Leaf)
  • โฌ†๏ธ in dietary fibre (Fruits & leaf)
  • Anti diabetic (Leaf)
  • Anti aging (Fruits & leaf)
  • โฌ†๏ธ in calcium (Fruits & leaf)

Not just that, she has learnt that fig plants requires 4-6 months for planting & harvesting in Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ, the fungus from humidity will spoil the fig fruits, also flood as fig needs water but not too much to grow for good harvesting. Fig plant needs half a day sunlight ๐ŸŒž, so planting them in green house is to protect them from the excessive rain water ๐ŸŒง๏ธ Each plant can harvest 30-40 fruits each time. It harvest 2๏ธโƒฃ times a year in Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ versus once in Turkey ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท comparatively, with rotating techniques used, Mutiara Fig manages to have fig harvesting all year round ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜

She also learnt the Peat Moss ie. Soil as medium for this plan & CIRT method as an additional compound for the root growth of this plant. The steps are,

  1. Remove outer layer of the plant
  2. Root hormones application
  3. Cut the Peat Moss & CIRT composition bag, spray water & apply again root hormones
  4. Then wrap the bag at the outer layer
  5. After 2๏ธโƒฃ weeks root growth on the bag
  6. Another 2๏ธโƒฃ weeks transplant the bag to poly bag to grow as a ๐Ÿ†• plant & place in nursery & place with a dripper (Both fertilizer & water) auto system for daily watering

After transplant, approximately 2๏ธโƒฃ months to start the baby fruit 1๏ธโƒฃst, then harvest in approximately 5 months later. The fig fruits harvest here are vailable in green ๐Ÿ’š, yellow ๐Ÿ’›, red โ™ฅ๏ธ & black ๐Ÿ–ค according to the level of sweetness ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿคค

Ohh ya…Exclusive & by appointment through call ๐Ÿ“ฑ/ email ๐Ÿ“จ to visit this Mutiara Fig Garden , absolutely worth a visit ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

WATER: Aย Musical Presented by Somerset Music & Chin San Sooi

Do you all recall SiennyLovesDrawing’s earlier sharing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ปโœ๐Ÿป here about Raising Conservation Awareness with Water ๐Ÿ’ฆ : A Musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ presented by Somerset Music & Mr Chin San Sooi from her media attendance at its press launch earlier somewhere in Augโ“โ‰๏ธ

You may read her earlier full story via ๐ŸŒย  https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/09/05/raising-conservation-awareness-with-water-a-musical/

This musical ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽผ is supported by the Environmental Protection Society of Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ as an interactive musical play. All audiences were encouraged to engage with the cast members by joining in the discussion by sharing responses ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฅ๐Ÿ‘ค, singing ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ‘„ & dancing ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ throughout the play

WATER ๐Ÿ’ฆ has always been a medium through which the most catastrophic disasters are portrayed ie. Floods ๐ŸŒŠ, droughts, landslides, forest fires ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒณ, water-borne diseases, water pollution etc. WATER ๐Ÿ’ฆ maybe just next to air is the most important element to living on earth ๐ŸŒŽ for all. So, this musical ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽผย  tittle to better compel the attention of all to safeguard & protect the planet that we all are living on currently ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŒŽ

.

So, the synopsis of this musical is very simple to achieve the educational & awareness of flora fauna conservation messaging to the audiences. It’s about in a forest ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ clearing, tiger ๐Ÿ… ๐Ÿฏ & the other animals (Mouse deer ๐ŸฆŒย  , elephant ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜,ย  Warthog ๐Ÿ—, monkey ๐Ÿต๐Ÿต) gather to discuss human’s destruction of the environment. Yes โœ…, it was discussed how the humans plunder the forest ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ, the animals’ home & the effects of that on the environment with the subsequent tainting of the waterways, also seek the responses from the audiences on the negative impacts ie. The result of human wanting things they donโ€™t need. The human supposedly to live with the surrounding environment, then to balance the explosion or greed of their needs. For example, the deforestation of the National Park in Pahang, Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ

There are a total of 8๏ธโƒฃ songs in this 1๏ธโƒฃ hour musical ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽผ,

  • Little Drops of Water
  • I am a Vegetarian ~ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’• loves the lyrics of this song led by Madam Elephant ๐Ÿ˜cast member of this musical
  • So You See
  • Its My Turn
  • Turn All Around
  • How to Cook A Wildboar ~ The interactiveness with audiences just cute hand gestures from their respective seats ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป led by Mr Warthog cast member of this musical
  • I Shall Survive
  • Virus Homo Erectus ~ If SiennyLovesDrawing remembered correctly, this was the song that her little niece happily accepted Ms Monkey ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป๐Ÿค๐Ÿป๐Ÿต cast member invitation by holding her hands to the stage to join the sing & dance ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Do check out her TikTok clip captured of this said interactiveness via ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ https://www.tiktok.com/@siennylovesdraw/video/7147314048391056667
  • Precious Water ~ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’• loves this song the most, especially the chorus

This time, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share her impressive love to this musical from her audience attendance with her little niece this recent weekend ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป It’s absolutely a great weekend spent

Yes โœ…, truly a great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ attended as #proudaunt SiennyLovesDrawing & her little niece really enjoyed this Water ๐Ÿ’ฆ : A Musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ Bravo to the play director, music composer, cast members, head gear designer & all crew members involved in this musical ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’•

Do check out her happy musical weekend #proudaunt bonding moment with her little niece TikTok clip captured via ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ, you will sure observe how interactive throughout the musical, as well as the nice songs composed in this musical ๐Ÿ’•๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The Black Box theatre of DPAC open for audiences to enter 15mins before the musical scheduled time. ๐Ÿ†“ seating arrangement. At the entrance, each audience is given an animal card, it’s not just as a souvenir ๐ŸŽ from the musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ, instead it formed part of the interaction during the show, wow ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿคฉ

Howโ“โ‰๏ธ

If you’re holding a monkey ๐Ÿต card, you suppose to join in the interaction when being asked by monkey cast member & so on for each of the animals in the musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผย  SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป was given with a monkey ๐Ÿต card while her little niece was given with an elephant ๐Ÿ˜ card ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜

Before the musical starts, Mr Chin San Sooi has reminded all audiences to wear mask ๐Ÿ˜ท throughout the whole musical. From SiennyLovesDrawing’s observation as 1๏ธโƒฃ of the excited audience, ๐Ÿ’ฏ% compliance โœ… gained from all responsible audiences #kitajagakita ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

When the musical 1๏ธโƒฃst started, all the cast members appeared on stage with bright smiles ๐Ÿ˜ & wore on their respective animal’s head gear designed ๐Ÿช–, in white tee ๐Ÿค & blue jeans ๐Ÿ‘–to signify their living in a forest ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ It was like back to a traditional theater personally to SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป where the focus all aims on the storyline, songs, cast members’ discussion, instead of technology or LED effects of a fancy high tech stage. Even the projections were very simple & straightforward to address the messages discussed on animals conservation & pollution matters. Absolutely a job well done ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป as this musical play did conveyed clear & engaged messaging to all audiences

The interactiveness between the cast members & the audiences very encouraging & really touching SiennyLovesDrawing’s heart โค๏ธ

Especially when she observed her little niece from being shy at the beginning, next joined the hand gestures with the cast members on her seat ๐Ÿ’บ, then accepted a personal invitation by a cast member, Ms Monkey ๐Ÿต to her, she then hold her hands ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป๐Ÿค๐Ÿป ๐Ÿต to join her on the stage to dance & sing together. Wow ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

IMG_20220926_001602

Not just that, many kids ๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป๐Ÿง’๐Ÿป (Including special kids from NASOM) also joined the cast members to sing & dance together, truly excitement gained from the interactions during the musical. A creative & innovative way of hosting a musical, bravo ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Do keep up the good performing arts spirit & vibes, you all had an amazing musical done ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป SiennyLovesDrawing & her little niece really enjoyed it. Her little niece already kept asking when will be the next musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ, she wanna meet the Ms Monkey ๐Ÿต again, lol ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† Ms Monkey, if you’re reading here, you’ve gained a little fan ya ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿต

SiennyLovesDrawing really enjoyed the ending part of this musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ where an introduction to all members involved in the success of this musical, including those behind the scene crew members. It’s really a great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป way to share appreciation ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปto all

Also sharing to all audiences the preparation & behind the scenes stories, yes โœ…, every success is never easy with lots of hard works. All the members involved in this Water: A Musical deserve a great applause ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป, you’ve done your very best , we look forward to your next musical ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜

Most of the audiences still stay on to take photos with the cast members before said good bye ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป & happy satisfied left the Black Box theatre

Do check out her happy musical weekend TikTok clip captured via ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ & stay tuned for her next blogging about her audience attendance to this musical ya ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜

Yeah!! It’s September now, time flies : )

If you’ve been following SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป’s blog stories here, you would have read about her recent art collaboration with WWF Malaysia on tiger ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ conservation, read more via ๐ŸŒ https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2022/07/29/roar-for-life-eco-festival-in-conjunction-of-global-tiger-day-by-wwf-malaysia/

This round she ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป would like to share about her recent media attendance to witness the official media launch to raising greater conservation awareness with WATER ๐Ÿ’ฆ: A Musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ presented by Somerset Music & Mr Chin San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป

WATER ๐Ÿ’ฆ is a musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ Tiger ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ calls the animals for a meeting to discuss man’s act of deforestation which leads to the pollution of rivers. All the 7๏ธโƒฃ animals affirm the sacredness of Mother Earth ๐ŸŒ, ohh no no…๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Guess whatโ“โ‰๏ธ

The musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ is interactive. The audience are invited to sing ๐ŸŽค & dance ๐Ÿฉฐ together with the cast members, wowโ€ผ๏ธ Absolutely gonna be an exciting & interesting musical experience with a meaningful conservation awareness raised, bravoโ€ผ๏ธ

It’s a collaboration ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป between playwright/director, Mr Chin San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป aka nickname in Mandarin ๅฑฑๆฐด Mountain Water, with music by Ms Joanne Poh ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ of Somerset Music, the audience can look forward to this 60mins of memorable cum interactive engagement with the cast members. Ms Joanne ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ & the cast members have proudly shared during the launch that the music is catchy & interactive for audiences to sing ๐ŸŽค & dance ๐Ÿฉฐ along with all cast members during the musical play. Wowโ€ผ๏ธ SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป is looking forward toward it, how about youโ“โ‰๏ธ

Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป said at the official media launch of WATER at Warung Old China in Kuala Lumpur (KL), West Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ, โ€œI was contemplating writing a play on the topic of conservation when I read of the deforestation that was taking place at the National Park ๐Ÿž๏ธ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ in Pahang, Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ many years ago. I was too earnest & the muse eluded me, till now.โ€

When the covid lockdown began, Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป spent 4๏ธโƒฃ very productive months occupied, with the end result of finishing 8๏ธโƒฃ scripts: 2๏ธโƒฃ satires, 3๏ธโƒฃ musicals, 2๏ธโƒฃ monologues & 1๏ธโƒฃ operetta. So, that is how WATER ๐Ÿ’ฆ : A Musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ is flowing out to the Malaysian audience in this post-covid environment

It’s really a privilege for SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป to be at this official media launch to hear directly from Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป, Ms Joanne ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ, Mr Khang Nanyao ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿป & some cast members of their involvement & preparation of this musical play ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ

Do check out her TikTok clip captured from her media attendance via ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ

Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป continues to share that: โ€œA musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ is more difficult to realise as it is very challenging to compose a piece of music ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ to lyrics written by another person. I approached Joanne ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ to compose the music. Joanne in her own right is a piano teacher, runs a music school & has sung in choirs & performed on stage. I gave her a year to work on the music. I am glad that Joanne Poh took up the gauntlet with our 3๏ธโƒฃ musicians.”

He ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป further explained to the media members that during the covid lockdown, he basically spent time on eat ๐Ÿ˜‹, sleep ๐Ÿ’ค๐Ÿ˜ด & write โœ๐Ÿป, repeat almost the same daily & then produced this play ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ He always wanted to create something relating to pollution & conservation. He just sat down to write without any ideas, then this play materialized naturally. Bravoโ€ผ๏ธ

He ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป also admitted to the media members that personally, he is not good in music, not a single note. He understands the difficulty of composing music ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ from play, so he spoke to Joanne ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ, a music teacher, singer, pianist & more to invite her to compose music for this play. Joanne actually being modest & hesitant to Mr San Sooi’s invitation at the beginning, she managed to produce the music for this play after 1๏ธโƒฃ year. Yeahโ€ผ๏ธ

Ms Joanne ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ then shared with the media that a total of 8๏ธโƒฃ songs, each animals represent in each music. Why took a yearโ“โ‰๏ธ She was procrastinating at 1st, hence delaying it when she was invited by Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป To her, music ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ actually comes when you don’t want it from her music experiences. She would like to have her music on how to connect with the audiences. Also to her, the animal’s gender in this play actually makes a difference in her music creation. It’s neutral & simple to looping mind ๐Ÿง  when connecting with music ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ Even for children/ students ๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿป๐Ÿง’๐Ÿป, to educate them on pollution & conservation through music ๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต Of course different for adults & teenagers will be also different. The children will come with adults (ie. Parents/ teachers) to the play, so using appropriate music ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ to tight in the play script content is really important to connect with the audiences whether during or even out from the theater that the audiences still remembering the conservation messages from this musical play ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ

She ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ further explained that she was hesitant to Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป’s invitation at the beginning because it’s totally ๐Ÿ†• to her to put music in this educational play. She was lacking of confidence with totally something ๐Ÿ†• to her music experiences. She took a lot of courage because she understands well that this music from her needs to be put on stage for the public. At last, she decided to still give it a try. Yeahโ€ผ๏ธ Ohh ya…Ms Joanne ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ผ also shared that she was at 1๏ธโƒฃst worried about the generation gap with Mr San Sooi, 81 ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป who is actually on par with her grand parents age. She appreciates the trust from Mr San Sooi with her to put tunes to his play script created. In fact, she has total freedom in her music creation to this play ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

โ€œWATER ๐Ÿ’ฆ is a combined effort by us in an act of creativity with the members of the cast. The oldest cast member is 61 year old Hilda Looi ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿฆฑ & the youngest cast member is school girl, Kirsten Wong, 13 ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ Together with designer, Khang Nanyao, we have set the stage with the different cast of characters through head gear specially created headwear for Mousedeer ๐ŸฆŒ, Tiger ๐Ÿฏ, Elephant ๐Ÿ˜, Monkey ๐Ÿต & Wildboar/ Warthog ๐Ÿ— In a small but significant way, we hope that WATER ๐Ÿ’ฆ : A Musical ๐ŸŽต๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽผ would make people be more aware of the environment & treat it with respect & concern. The play could lead to larger issues like conservation of the seas & oceans ๐ŸŒŠ,โ€ added Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป

Mr Khang Nanyao ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿป shared during the official media launch that the animal’s head gears were all 3D printed for current edge trending technology. So, the weight of each is not heavy & does not spoil very fast. These head gear with PLA plastics is possible to recycle โ™ป๏ธ, but it may require special techniques to recycle them

Hmm…Importance of technology over the nature/ being environment friendlyโ“โ‰๏ธ Personally, SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป as a go green ๐Ÿ’š person would think of using a more environmental friendly materials in producing the head gears would be more meaningful to this play on conservation initiative & awareness ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Mr Khang Nanyao ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿป further explained to media members that he appreciates the trust from Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿป as he has full control on the hear gear design, yes โœ…, basically everything on his own ideas & no restrictions of head gear ideas for this play. It’s actually both the spiritual design with technology design at the same time. He did an open head helmet instead of a covered mask as requested by Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป His artwork more on live vs death ~ More scary side. Started making a difference in this play by adding in past & future elements to his head gear design. The cause & effect of humans made. To Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป, the white side of the head gear signifies spiritual to him. It’s an interesting interpretation of the head gear created. It took average 4๏ธโƒฃ days to produce a head gear of the animal, except 5๏ธโƒฃ days for the elephant ๐Ÿ˜ head gear

One of the cast member, Madam Hilda Looi ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿฆฑ has shared that her 1๏ธโƒฃst play was when she was in 18 yrs old & this musical play is her 2nd involvement as Elephant 1๐Ÿ˜ Being the oldest cast member in this musical play, she is looking forward to working with the younger generation. While the youngest cast member, Ms Kirsten Wong ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ is not doing much acting before her involvement to this play as Monkey 1๐Ÿต It’s really a good ๐Ÿ†• experience to learn new things. While another cast member, Ricky – shared that it’s his 1๏ธโƒฃst play as Elephant 2๐Ÿ˜ in this musical play & a lot more to learn

Mr San Sooi ๐Ÿ‘ด๐Ÿป has added at the end of the official media launch that all cast members will start the rehearsal of this musical play in early Sept. Ohh yes, it’s on going now, so your ticket booking & purchase surely motivating & boosting encouraging vibes to all the cast members ya ๐Ÿ˜€ Let’s support local Malaysian artistsย

2. Istana Lemuni

You all have to book in advance & enjoy a great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป pure traditional Malay cuisine (Northern, Southern or Pantai Timur sets) served here in its beautiful palace & royal families wooden houses (Aka Rumah Tela in Malaysia’s national language) here

“It’s all started actually as the weekend houses for the family, then the kitchen for family gatherings during weekends here. Visitors to Janda Baik actually then passing by & stopping by to take photos & videos. Many people were asking why they were not open to the public, so here it is now a dining place named Istana Lemuni (It’s with Istana Tiang 16, opening soon).” Explained by the passionate friendly & welcoming Datin Hasma Ahmad to SiennyLovesDrawing & her travel mates during her recent dining

So, it started with initially open 2018 for private function with BBQ dinner, then lunch, as the family background is with engineering automotive & retail company, not really into F&B businesses, so would like to explore this new opportunity with own cooking for approximately 30-50pax a day by only open from Fri to Sun & by advanced booking

Then more & more customers, Datin then recruiting more family members & staff, opening for breakfast till lunch or extend till tea time, 8am-5pm, it grows to 400-500pax ๐Ÿ˜ฒ each per day during these 3 days Fri to Sun

SiennyLovesDrawing as a go green & environmental friendly person got impressed that Istana Lemuni actually serves its customers with natural mineral water from its deep land ground, using solar as renewable energy for all its lighting as well as serving cuisine with organic ingredients from its farm & farm harvests from the local Janda Baik communities here. That’s really great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป initiative. Do check out her happy dining TikTok clip captured ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ

Asking about its future plan, Datin continues to explain that it’s still in progress that its customers will have to pick fruits on the farm, chasing chicken, duck, other farm animals, a picnic area, timbang bayar organic vegetables etc. Also there will be a gallery soon for the local artists with certain percentage from sales to contributing back to the local Janda Baik communities ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

The next time SiennyLovesDrawing is gonna try & taste the signature dish ie. Nasi Lemuni here

Hey all ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป, it’s the Global Tiger Day today, 29 July 2022

Do you know that the tiger ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ is key to a healthy forest ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ ecosystem for all of us to enjoy clean air, fresh water, climate change mitigation & so much moreโ“โ‰๏ธ

In conjunction with the Global Tiger Day, Siennylovesdrawing would like to share about an event about tiger conservation in Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ ie. Roar For Life Eco Festival which is being organised by WWF-Malaysia in partnership ๐Ÿค๐Ÿป with Maybank on 30 & 31 July 2022 (Sat & Sun) at ๐Ÿ“ the Piazza in Pavilion Bukit Jalil ๐Ÿฌ

  • Be wowed by the tiger ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ sculptures which made from Forest Stewardship Council certificated paper that will transform the Piazza into a forest full of tigers ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ Yes โœ…, it will be a great ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป chance for selfie ๐Ÿคณ or wefie

Hmm… SiennyLovesDrawing is one of the many artists involved in preparation of the 150 tiger sculptures, so do check out her pair of tigers ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ doodled ya โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ’• Do continue reading as she will be sharing more of her doodle art inspiration of this participation

.

So, what are you waiting forโ“โ‰๏ธ

Let’s register via ๐ŸŒ http://www.roarforlife2022.info to join this event to show your support of efforts to protect Malayan tigers & safeguard our future ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ Also to show your supports to SiennyLovesDrawing ‘s art passion ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

SiennyLovesDrawing already registered & received her voucher, how about youโ“โ‰๏ธ

So, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to express special thank you to WWF Malaysia, Fused Labs Sdn Bhd & Artisus for trusting her doodle art passion & invited her to participate & painted on 2๏ธโƒฃ tiger collectibles ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ

For this pair of Malayan Tigers figurines ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share her doodles inspiration cum interpretation as below,

The Malayan tiger is the national animal of Malaysia. Actually the Malayan Tiger is 1๏ธโƒฃ of the smallest tiger species found throughout the southern & central parts of the Malay Peninsula & southern parts of Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ The Malayan tiger is a tiger from a specific population of the Panthera tigris subspecies that is native to Peninsular Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ This population inhabits the southern & central parts of the Malay Peninsula

The Malayan tiger is Totally Protected under the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010 & is classified as Critically Endangered under the IUCN Red List for Threatened Species since 2015

Meaning of the colours used to doodle on this pair of figurines:

Orange ๐Ÿงก~ From the Malayan Tiger ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ body colour

Black ๐Ÿ–ค ~ From the stripes of Malayan Tiger ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ

White ๐Ÿค ~ The original colour of the figurines, From the Malaysia flag ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ ~ It symbolises purity

Yellow ๐Ÿ’› ~ From the Malaysia flag ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ ~ It signifies royal colours of the Malay Rulers. Sienny would like to symbolise it as a bright future of Malaysia of her pair of Malayan Tigers figurines here

Red โ™ฅ๏ธ ~ From the Malaysia flag ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ ~ It symbolises bravery. The tiger symbolises bravery & strength among Malaysians

Blue ๐Ÿ’™ ~ From the Malaysia flag ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ ~ It symbolises the unity of all Malaysians

Meaning of doodle patterns:

The circular doodle means focus in aiming ๐ŸŽฏ just like the tiger ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ

Another doodle pattern meant to be the growth of plant ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฑ to signifies the jungle ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ

Meaning of this pair of Malayan Tiger figurines gestures:

Hand gestures ~ STOP ๐Ÿ›‘ poaching โ€ผ๏ธ
The Malayan tiger is already declining due to poaching, habitat loss & fragmentation or degradation, as well as prey loss & now Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) seems to be emerging as yet another threat

Purposely prepared no eyes ๐Ÿ‘€ on this pair of Malayan Tiger figurines, it’s because tiger cubs are born blind. Their eyes peek open between 6โ€“12 days after birth & they gain full vision after 2 weeks from birth

Do check out her TikTok clip captured via ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŒ

All 150 limited-edition tiger collectibles were made entirely from sustainable & eco-friendly materials. Each tiger collectible is created & licensed by Fused Labs Sdn Bhd, then supported by Artisus, then each is uniquely customised by Malaysian artists for WWF-Malaysia. Every one-of-a-kind-piece comes with a unique serial number & carries a strong message encouraging all Malaysians to be part of the solution to save our Malayan tigers ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿฏ

The proceeds from each tiger collectible piece will support Malaysian artists as well as conservation initiatives by WWF-Malaysia. These collectibles will be up for sale & bids via ๐Ÿ›’๐ŸŒ http://www.pandashop.my from 29 July 2022 onwards. Do check it out to support this conversation initiative ya โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿค—

Asia Art Show ~ An Art Showcase Of Change this August 2022

Hey all ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป, SiennyLovesDrawing would like to share about an upcoming Asia Art Show this Aug 2022 in this blog post

It’s not just a normal showcase of art. Asia Art Show aims to change & impact the artistic scene in Asia especially in Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ This is due to the general view & appreciation towards the art industry in Asia ๐ŸŒ is way lower than in other parts of the world

Visual art is usually considered a minority industry & the stigma that comes with it is that it does not guarantee a stable & probable future. Even though we have a great number of talented artists in Asia, only ๐Ÿ”Ÿ% of them eventually make a living from selling their artworks

.

Thus, here is where the Asia Art Show exhibition comes into play as we take daring steps to host a high-profile art showcase event for the 1๏ธโƒฃst time ever in Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ This event may not be as prestigious as the Art Basel but we are confident that this is the vital 1๏ธโƒฃst step towards uplifting the Asia art industry

Now, the question is, why Asiaโ“โ‰๏ธ Not Malaysiaโ“โ‰๏ธ

The answer is that Asia Art Show aims to become an annual event that connects Asian countries with 1๏ธโƒฃ objective to bring the spotlight to talented artists across the continent. The event will be featuring artists from Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ, Indonesia ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฉ, India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ, Korea ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท, Germany ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช & many more. Asia Art Show would also like to gather ASIAN CONGLOMERATES in support of the Asian art industry especially Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ & neighbourhood countries

Asia Art Show is a 3๏ธโƒฃ-day event held this Aug with the National Day celebration in mind. Even though it is held in the midst of economic crises, we believe that all of these challenges will increase the virtues & values of artists in order to produce more amazing artworks

Isnโ€™t art a form of emotional release & expressionโ“โ‰๏ธ

Not only that but art also serves as a therapeutic means for people troubled with various challenges & we are certain that our fellow artists are some of the strongest creatives in the scene

.

Over the years, we have been making efforts to promote & sell artworks via charity fundraising events, sponsorships, garage sales & online websites. We strive to connect artists & buyers through these platforms & many more. Asia Art Show will invite over 1000 potential buyers on the 2๏ธโƒฃnd day followed by the opening of the gallery to the public on the 3๏ธโƒฃrd day. The best thing about art exhibitions in Malaysia ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ is that we offer ๐Ÿ†“ admission in order to encourage more people to embrace the uniqueness of the various expressions of art

Another big feat of our efforts is that we have managed to gauge the interest of a big Fintech specialist company to sponsor the building of our very own e-commerce website via ๐ŸŒ http://www.asiaartshowgallery.com which will be officially launched on the 26 Aug 2022

YAB Perdana Menteri Dato Seri Ismail Sabri has been invited to officiate the Charity Dinner taking place on Friday, 26 Aug 2022. This programme includes Special Needs Artists from our respected CSR allies Pusat Latihan Pemulihan Perindustrian Bangi. These unique artists consist of those with various diseases such as autism, bipolar disorders, physical deficiencies, cancer & also stroke patients. Moreover, there will also be a special auction for 20 pieces from these talented artists. A portion of the proceeds will be channeled to selected NGOs

.

We are aiming to sell at least 200 artworks as a benchmark of our success of organizing this grandiose event. In our eyes, this event does not only benefit 1๏ธโƒฃ party, but it sincerely will benefit so many parties involved in this event. Our success will majorly depend on the sponsors, artists, buyers, art enthusiasts, media parties & also everyone who put in efforts to make this event a reality

SiennyLovesDrawing as 1๏ธโƒฃ of the many art lovers, also will be there to attend this charity event on the 26 Aug 2022, see you all, let’s support talented artists
