Royal Belum State Park ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ is a 130 million years old rainforest ๐ณ๐ณ & the untouched forest ๐ณ๐ณ is home to a large variety of flora & fauna ๐๐คฉ

It’s 1๏ธโฃ of the attractions๐๐not to be missed to searching for the precious bloom of the World ๐บ๐ ‘s largest & arguably smelliest flower ๐บ i.e. Rafflesia
It found all over Southeast Asia ๐ i.e. from Southern Thailand ๐น๐ญ to Philippines ๐ต๐ญ Each species can be identified by the unique patterns on the petals. There are 8๏ธโฃ species of Rafflesias ๐บ can be found in Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ with 3๏ธโฃ of them are endemic to the Malay Peninsula & of courseย can be found in the Belum-Temengor rainforest complex ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐

It took 4๏ธโฃ years to build the 2๏ธโฃ bridges ๐๐ to providing the convenience of East North East travelling ๐๐ via a scenic ๐๐คฉ highway. Oppsss…Her room not really seeing the lake view as the trees ๐ณย in front of her room just so tall…Ha…Ha…Instead she got a nice green view ๐
Hmm…As a go green ๐supporter, SiennyLovesDrawing ๐ฉ๐ป wishes this ecotourism resort ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ก๐๐ก can consider to set up some water ๐ฆ๐ง dispensers within its resort compound ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ก๐๐ก & then prepare the glass water bottles/ jugs/ flasks in hotel rooms, instead of plastic bottled water ๐ฆ๐ง for all its guests ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ This definitely will reduce โฌ๏ธ lots of the plastic usage
There are plenty of room types range from dorm, executive room, villa etc. for your resort ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ก๐๐ก stay selection โ
Hmm…The resort ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ก๐๐ก wifi ๐ถ connection was surprisingly slow & frequent down to connect ๐๐Though was provided with alternative Unifi connection๐ถ, however it required for long email ID & password to connect, hope this inconvenience for guests ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ซ can be enhanced soon

Upon arrival ๐๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ก๐๐ก, she ๐ฉ๐ป had a simple fried rice lunch ๐ฝserved here, it’s very tasty delicious ๐๐คค

She ๐ฉ๐ป had 2๏ธโฃ plates of fried rice ๐๐…Oppsss…surely exceed her rice ๐ quota of 1๏ธโฃ week ๐ ๐๐คฃ, time for more frequent morning ๐ ๐ joggingsss ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ
Then, she ๐ฉ๐ป really enjoyed her 2๏ธโฃ morning ๐ ๐ buffet breakfast ๐ฝ๐ดโ๏ธ during her stay ๐๐๐ป๐ here. The food selection were moderately good ๐๐ปโ๐ป Hmm…Would be good ๐๐ป if they rotate some of the main dishes to excite its long term stay guests ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ
Also a tasty table set dinner ๐ฝ๐ด for the 1๏ธโฃst night ๐๐, personally she ๐ฉ๐ป loves โค๏ธ the stuffed beancurd dish & rendang ๐๐คค
Sidai Restaurant
SiennyLovesDrawing ๐ฉ๐ป & her media friends ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ had a Western dinner served in this restaurant. She had ordered for Salmon ๐ steak, yet she also has exchanged & tried her media friends๐ซ๐ฌ๐ฌ’ dishes too, including some pasta ๐๐ dishes for sharing
Hmm…1๏ธโฃst experience of having unique sweet taste Western dinnerย ๐ฝย …๐the sweet taste of Salmon steak (orange ๐ sauce), lamb chop (honey ๐ฏ sauce) etc.
Her media friends ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ & herself ๐ฉ๐ป were all love & enjoyed very much the Kadok pasta (highly recommended ๐๐ป๐๐ป), very delicious tasty๐๐คค, not to be missed ya ๐๐

From this farm, you will have chance to observe the stingless bees ๐ ๐ named Kelulut in action & learning the process of its honey ๐ฏ production. There are plenty species of stingless bees ๐๐ that each will producing a different-tasting honey ๐ฏ
Ohh ya…The honey ๐ฏ harvested from this farm are for sale ๐๐ to its guests ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ to bring home ๐ก as souvenirs ya ๐๐

Gaharu trees ๐ณ aka Agarwood are 1๏ธโฃ the rarest trees ๐ณ in rainforests ๐ณ๐ณ It’s much sought-after by the pharmaceutical & cosmetic industries for their bark & resin ๐๐ป๐๐ป
This is a conservation ๐ effort by the Belum Conservation Malaysia (BCM) by planting the gaharu ๐ณ trees in the Belum-Temenggor Rainforest Complex ๐ณ๐ณ with the celebrities ๐๐ป๐ด๐ป๐บ๐ผ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ค๐จ๐พโ๐คas well as its resort guests ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ

Sungai Ruok Waterfall ๐ฆ๐ง
Initially this trekking ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธto reach the waterfall ๐ฆ๐ง & Rafflesia ๐บ spot site was called to cancel โ due to a heavy rain โ๏ธ๐ง when the boat ๐ค about to reach
Special thank you ๐๐ป to the responsible ๐๐ป boatman ๐ค๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ named Mr Mazlan, he ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ went himself 1๏ธโฃst to check & ensure ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธโ it’s still safe to do the trekking ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ in the rain โ๏ธ๐ง

Luckily she ๐ฉ๐ปย doesn’t hurt her feet (Yeah!! She ๐ฉ๐ปย is qualified to join as local indigeneous communities in this rainforest). No leeches attack too, hurray!!
