Curious šŸ¤” about the special home cooking dishes šŸ½šŸ“by Khun MaišŸ§•šŸ½ā“ā‰ļø

Thai šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ style Spicy šŸŒ¶ Shrimp šŸ¦ Soup šŸ²šŸ„£ aka Tom Yum Kung

Yeahā€¼ļø Fingers licking greatā€¼ļø šŸ‘

Moreover Khun Mai šŸ§•šŸ½Ā didn’t put in lots of chilies, so not too spicy āŒšŸŒ¶Ā for SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ»Ā to enjoy

She šŸ‘©šŸ» has requested for additional sourish, so more organic lime juices being added in to this pot, absolutely delicious to enjoy šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤

Black Pepper & Garlic Shrimps šŸ¤šŸ¤

Hmm…Perhaps the shrimps šŸ¤šŸ¤Ā for this dish were relatively smaller, so its meat slightly softer comparatively

Samut Sakhon ~ Hidden gem in Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡

Hey allā€¼ļøĀ How have you spent your 2018 year end breakā“ā‰ļø

SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ»Ā would like to sharing šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ“ about her 2018 year end travelling šŸŽ’šŸ•¶šŸ‘ŸšŸ§¢ with Take Me Tour, Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡

Pick 1ļøāƒ£ ~Ā Samut Sakhon from Bangkok: Salt Farm Tour & Homemade Seafood ~Ā

Yes āœ…, she šŸ‘©šŸ» has booked šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ›’ more than a tour…do stay tune for her next blogging ya šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ“

Actually not just a wide variety of day tours, Take Me Tour also providing private car šŸš—šŸš™ airport transfer āœˆļø, SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» has booked šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ›’āœ… for a few & really impressed šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ¤© with its reliable, safe & comfy ride šŸš—šŸš™ to/ from Don MueangĀ International Airport āœˆļø

Do consider for your convenience especially with night šŸŒƒšŸŒŒšŸ›¬ arrival ya

Before she šŸ‘©šŸ» has decided on this tour, she šŸ‘©šŸ» has read šŸ“– about the local expert of this said tour named Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ who has introduced herself as a wanderer in this small village & then become a close friend to many villagers šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬

TH4.JPG

During the tour, SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» has observed that Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ really having a great šŸ‘šŸ» relationship with the villagers šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« & communicating well šŸ—£šŸ‘„šŸ‘¤šŸ‘„ with them. Definitely a strong healthy bonding šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ¤ & friendship being built, bravo šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ» to her šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøā€¼ļø

She šŸ‘©šŸ» also truly believes that Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøhas chosen āœ… to lead this day tour to introduce to all guests šŸ‘¬šŸ‘šŸ‘« about this small village in a less travelledĀ  province ~ Samut Sakhon, Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ i.e. from the salt water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ gate, mangrove forest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ , salt farm, home made seafoods šŸ½šŸ“šŸ¦€šŸ¦šŸŸ etc.

Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ also aims to help to boost ā¬†ļø the economy of this small village & increase ā¬†ļø the earning power šŸ’° of the villagers šŸ‘šŸ‘«šŸ‘¬ here especially during the raining ā˜”ļøšŸŒ§ season where most of the salt farmers here will be experiencing the low ā¬‡ļø salt harvesting

Hmm…How’s this day tour thoughoutā“ā‰ļø

She šŸ‘©šŸ» woke up early that morning šŸ”…šŸ”† & went for a local Thai “bak kut teh” breakfast šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ , a non-halal dish ~ herb pork šŸ–šŸ·šŸ½ soup šŸ²šŸ„£ served with riceĀ šŸ›šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ It’s just a stall outside of a local Thai šŸ‡¹šŸ‡šŸ‘«‘s home šŸ šŸ” & within walking šŸš¶šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø distance fromĀ her hotelĀ šŸ¢Ā namedĀ Bangkok Loft InnĀ

This hotel šŸ¢ is located atšŸ“55 Somdet Phra Chao Taksin Rd., Bangyeerua, Thonburi, Bangkok 10600, Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ A nice šŸ‘šŸ» comfy stay šŸ›ŒšŸšæšŸš½with its strategic locationšŸ“ i.e. 5ļøāƒ£mins walking šŸš¶šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø distance to the Wongwian Yai BTS skytrain station šŸš‰, very convenient šŸ†—šŸ†’ More details for your hotel booking šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ›’ via šŸŒ http://www.bangkokloftinn.com/Ā

After breakfast šŸ½šŸ“šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤, she šŸ‘©šŸ» then proceeded šŸš¶šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøto take the BTS skytrain šŸšŠ from Wongwian Yai station šŸš‰Ā Oppsss…Too early arrival šŸ”…šŸ”† atĀ BTS stationĀ named Wutthakat šŸš‰, not because of the time difference ya…

Yesāœ…, she was about 1ļøāƒ£ hour early from meet up @ 9ļøāƒ£am to meet up with Khun HansaĀ šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ as stated in her Take Me Tour booking šŸ“Œ Just too excited šŸ˜† for the day tour, Ha…Ha…Don’t laugh šŸ˜†šŸ˜‚ at her ya

Yeahā€¼ļø A very niceĀ šŸ‘šŸ»Ā morningĀ šŸ”…šŸ”†Ā view with riverĀ šŸ’¦šŸ’§, long boatĀ šŸ›¶Ā & watĀ ā›©Ā from the BTS stationĀ šŸš‡Ā during her wait for the meet up šŸ‘©šŸ»šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Hmm…She šŸ‘©šŸ» was a bit lazy, else she would have walkšŸš¶šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøto visit this wat Ā ā›©Ā nearby that morning šŸ”…šŸ”† Instead she šŸ‘©šŸ» seated down in the BTS station šŸš‰ & then logged in to her social medias šŸ“± & catching up with her friends & family members šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬Ā with her new šŸ†• Ā Thai simcard named DTAC , more details via šŸŒĀ https://www.dtac.co.th/en/move-to-dtac/

Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ was early to arrive too, so both šŸ‘©šŸ»šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø then started this day tour slightly early that the scheduled time of 9ļøāƒ£am

Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ is so friendly & shares the same travel passion as SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ», hence lots of common interest to chit chat šŸ—£šŸ‘¤ about during their approximately 30mins journey šŸš™ to Samut Sakhon province, also known by the locals as “Maha Chai” šŸ˜€

Both happily šŸ˜ƒ exchanged lots of respective travel stories, always a nice šŸ‘šŸ» meet & catch up with a travel lover during travel journeys šŸ˜

As you have reading šŸ“– her earlier blogging šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ“ here, she šŸ‘©šŸ» has visited plenty of mangrove parks šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ in her home country ~ Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾

However, this is SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ»‘s 1ļøāƒ£st visit to a Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡‘s natural coastal mangrove forest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³,Ā a home to a wide variety of birds šŸ¦…šŸ¦ & mudskippers šŸŸšŸŸ & along the Gulf of Thailand šŸŒŠšŸ‡¹šŸ‡

Oppsss…The mudskippers šŸŸšŸŸ here are fat & huge, it was high tides šŸŒŠ during her visit, so not able āŒ to note the colourful Hermit crabs šŸššŸ¦€crawling on the muddy field šŸ˜Œā˜ŗļø

Not to missed a visit to its mini museum / perhaps more to a conservation project centre šŸ’ššŸ’š with a collection of whale šŸ‹šŸ³ skeletons, details about some small animals lived in this forest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ before as well asĀ some its on-going marine conservation initiatives šŸŒŠšŸ’ššŸ’š here i.e. mangrove trees planting šŸŒ³šŸŒ³, a bamboo šŸŽšŸŽ‹ border project to avoid further water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ & soil erosion to this forest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ etc.

These eco šŸ’ššŸ’š sustainable initiatives aim to buidling the bamboo borders šŸŽšŸŽ‹ within the mangrove forest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ were observed by SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» during her visit to protect the mangroves šŸŒ³ being sapling from the sea waves šŸŒŠ ‘ destruction, then soil erosion šŸ˜§šŸ˜²šŸ™ƒ

Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ also into eco tourism šŸ’š & a green person as SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ»,Ā so they have more conversational topics šŸ—£šŸ‘¤ Ha…Ha…it’s rare to meet a new friend šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø with similar travel & conservation passionate šŸ˜‰

She šŸ‘©šŸ» has shared a recent sad šŸ˜” news šŸ—žšŸ“° of the high ā¬†ļø potential of the de-gazette āŒ of Pulau Kukup Johor National Park šŸŒ“Ā to Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø during this day tour, you may check out this said dissappointingĀ šŸ˜”Ā online newsĀ šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ—žšŸ“°Ā viaĀ šŸŒhttps://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2018/12/05/why-did-johor-quietly-degazette-pulau-kukup-national-park-asks-lawyers/

SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» has wrote šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ“ about this Pulau Kukup Johor National ParkĀ šŸŒ“ via link šŸŒ https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2018/02/18/traveloguemalaysia-pulau-kukup-tanjung-piai/

Guess whatā“ā‰ļø

Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļønot just a great šŸ‘šŸ» local expert in sharing her knowledge about this village, she is also a great photographer šŸ“ø

Special thank you šŸ™šŸ» for theĀ beautiful šŸ˜ photos šŸ“ø of SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» during this mangrove forest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ walkšŸš¶šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøya šŸ¤—

Next, Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøĀ also brought her to a local cafe šŸ½ā˜•ļøĀ (Hmm…In Thai name which SiennyLovesDrawing is unable to share the name, refer photo below for the cafe details) by her friend named Joy šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø & her adorable shy daughter named Minnie šŸ‘§šŸ» It was a pleasure to meet them & had a quick chit chat about Joy šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø’s recent visit to her orchard plantation šŸŒ±šŸŒæ in Central of Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ , she plants šŸŒ±šŸŒæ for macadomia nuts šŸ„œ , coffee trees ā˜•ļøšŸŒ³, pineapples šŸ etc. Love šŸ’— all the photos šŸ“øšŸ“± shared by Joy šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø, you will definitely note her passion in plantations šŸ’—šŸŒ±šŸŒæ

IMG_0237.jpg

This cafe šŸ½ā˜•ļø is locatedšŸ“next to a river šŸ’¦šŸ’§, it’s really relaxing šŸ˜Œ to dine šŸ½ here to enjoy šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ the canal view. She šŸ‘©šŸ» had a Thai tea ice stick ā˜•ļøšŸ¦as well as try stir fried fresh vegetables šŸ„— planted by Joy šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø with sardines šŸŸ, yummy delicious šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ā€¼ļø

IMG_0238.jpg

She šŸ‘©šŸ» has observed during the car šŸš™ journey towards the salt farm that some of the farmers šŸ‘¬šŸ‘¬šŸ‘¬ here busy hand picking cockles šŸš in the farms šŸ˜„

Yeahā€¼ļø Next, she šŸ‘©šŸ» has proceeded to visit the salt farm šŸ˜ƒ

Yes āœ…, the highlight āœØof this tour & she šŸ‘©šŸ» has been long awaited for. Hmm….Whyā“ā‰ļø

This is because she šŸ‘©šŸ» wanted to visit salt farm in Kampot village, Cambodia šŸ‡°šŸ‡ during her Phnom Penh trip in Nov. However, due to a last mins plan, no āŒ hotel available šŸ¢ as it was the annual water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ festival celebration šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ , so SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» was forced to cancel āŒ the Kampot visit plan, hence no āŒ chance to have her 1ļøāƒ£st visit to a salt farm šŸ˜ŒšŸ˜”

Everything happens for a reason, then this Take Me Tour booking šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ›’āœ… has now fulfilled šŸ†’šŸ†— her wish to visit a salt farm, so happy šŸ˜ƒā€¼ļø

Salt farming is seasonal & visiting during the dry season between January to April would capture the best view šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ˜

Sea water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ is 1ļøāƒ£st being pumping into the farms.Ā  Then, the sea water šŸ’¦šŸ’§will be evaporated over a period of time, the layers of salt will be manually collected by the salt farmers šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬

She šŸ‘©šŸ» has met with the salt farmers šŸ‘¬šŸ‘šŸ‘«’ family, learnt & discovered how the salt formed & also enjoy a home cooked lunch šŸ½šŸ“with the top šŸ‘†šŸ»notch salt & fresh seafood šŸ¦€šŸ¦šŸŸ served from the salt farm to table šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤

Do click inā˜šŸ»to SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ»’s IG photos album šŸ“ø of her salt farm visit & delicious šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ home cooked seafood dining ya šŸ½šŸ“šŸ¦€šŸ¦šŸŸ

Salt-Baked Seafood ~ Flower crab šŸ¦€ , prawns šŸ¦ & sea bass šŸŸ

What’s the best šŸ‘šŸ»way to enjoy fresh seafoodsšŸ¦€šŸ¦šŸŸā“ā‰ļø

Of course not āŒ to fried them, but to steamed them ā™ØļøšŸ’¦šŸ’§

IMG_0279.JPG

Hmm…Not just that, SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» has just learnt a new šŸ†• home cooked style i.e. to salt-baked the fresh seafoods šŸ¦€šŸ¦šŸŸ

Her 1ļøāƒ£st salt-baked dining experience šŸ½šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ & she šŸ‘©šŸ» loves šŸ’— so much as she gets to taste the original sweetness of the seafoods šŸ‘šŸ»

Ohh ya…No need āŒ to worry as this salt-baked style will not make the seafoods taste too salty to dine ya šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤

img_0300 img_0302

Fresh & tasty delicious šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ , she has missed this dish the most from this day tourā€¼ļøšŸ˜€

You may opt to enjoy the seafoods either by dipping with the home made spicy šŸŒ¶ sauce or not

Seepweed Leaf Salad šŸ„— with Sauteed Dried Shrimps šŸ¦

This seepweed aka suaeda plants šŸŒæ only grow next to a salt farm, wow šŸ˜²ā€¼ļø

Another 1ļøāƒ£st tasting šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤ experience of this green vegetable šŸŒæšŸ„—, actually not just green, it’s also in purple colour šŸ’œ

IMG_0289.jpg

The darker the purple šŸ’œ of the seepweed šŸŒæ, it signifies the higher ā¬†ļø of the salt concentrate as observed from her salt farm visit šŸ˜‰

Guess whatā“ā‰ļø

A special local Thai šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ way to enjoy this salad šŸ„— dish, do click inā˜šŸ»for a short clipĀ šŸ“¹šŸŽ„Ā captured from Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø’s demo during the lunchšŸ½šŸ“

During her visit, no small pyramids šŸ”¼ of salt being piled up as it was in between dry ā˜€ļø & raining ā˜”ļøšŸŒ§ season, so the salt harvesting not as great this season

SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» also personally observed how the locals handpicked šŸ–šŸ» & performed the salt grading šŸ”¢ too. Definitely great šŸ‘šŸ» eye sight šŸ‘€šŸ‘šŸ‘ is required for this manual process āœ…

She šŸ‘©šŸ» also visited a traditional salt storage & learning how the salt farm is being formed & then harvested from the salt farmers/ local communities šŸ‘¬šŸ‘šŸ‘«

Before you left the salt farm & headed back to Bangkok city šŸŒ†šŸ™, you may shopping šŸ›’šŸ› for some salt products e.g. sea salt, soap etc. which produced by the locals as souvenirs šŸŽ for friends & family members šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«

Khun Hansa šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø is very friendly, willing to share & helpful as she has patiently helped SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» to askā“& communicate šŸ—£šŸ‘„ a numbers of questionsā“ā“in Thai šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ to the villagers during this day tour šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«šŸ‘

Impressive Bon Om Touk ~ Cambodian Water Festival 2018

Yeahā€¼ļø SiennyLovesDrawingĀ šŸ‘©šŸ»Ā is gonna sharing šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ“ here about her impressive šŸ¤© & unforgettable experience gained from the annualĀ CambodianĀ šŸ‡°šŸ‡ Water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ Festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ, Phnom Penh, Cambodia šŸ‡°šŸ‡

So, it was all started withĀ a short queue to get her šŸ‘©šŸ» cheap ā¬‡ļø flight ticket āœˆļø during the AirAsia BIG Xchange & BIG Fest event ā¤ļø in Sept (as shown in the short clip šŸ“¹šŸŽ„below). It was with only a limited choice of destinationsšŸ“šŸ“available

She šŸ‘©šŸ» has chosen āœ… for Phnom PenhĀ šŸ‡°šŸ‡ under Lane B with a very 1ļøāƒ£st intention to meet & visit 1ļøāƒ£ of her girlfriend šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø who is working there as an expatriate currently. However, sadly šŸ˜Ÿ that her friend šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø wasn’t around āŒ Phnom Penh šŸ‡°šŸ‡ during her travel dates šŸ—“ Sigh…From a friend visitšŸ‘, then she had it as 1ļøāƒ£ of her annual solo travelsss šŸŽ’šŸ§¢šŸ•¶šŸ‘Ÿ

šŸ’— ~ Everything Happens For A Reason ~ šŸ’—

Also initially she šŸ‘©šŸ» did plan to let go this solo trip because of a clash to a tourism event ~ MITA Sarawak, Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ that she šŸ‘©šŸ» has always supporting šŸ’ŖšŸ»āœŒšŸ»the tourism authority šŸ˜Š in Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ļø

Guess whatā“ā‰ļø

Her trip is gonna be during the annualĀ Cambodian šŸ‡°šŸ‡ Water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ Festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠĀ named Bon Om ToukĀ in local Khmer language šŸ‡°šŸ‡ from 21 Nov to 23 Nov 2018 šŸ˜ƒšŸ˜ It also known as The Pirogue šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Racing Festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠĀ or Water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ & Moon šŸŒ‘ Festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ & Boat Racing šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

http://cambodia-tourism.org/plan-your-trip/events/cambodian-water-festival/

It was really a coincidentā€¼ļø Once she šŸ‘©šŸ»Ā has decided āœ… to stay with this solo travel šŸŽ’šŸ•¶šŸ§¢šŸ‘Ÿ due to the complicated & difficult flight change šŸ˜ŸāœˆļøĀ Also this gonna be her 1ļøāƒ£st visit to Phnom Penh, CambodiaĀ šŸ‡°šŸ‡

This biggest celebrationĀ marks a 12th century naval victory with boat šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø racing along the Sisowath Quay šŸ’¦šŸ’§ with the boat šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø racing on the Tonle Sap River, in particular the area stretching from street 104 to street 178 of Phnom Penh city centre šŸ‡°šŸ‡

Many hostels šŸ”šŸ˜, hotels šŸ¢, restaurants šŸ½šŸ“ & bars šŸ„‚šŸ»šŸøaround this area ~ Very convenience for all visitors šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬

Photo 27-11-2018, 3 21 18 PMPhoto 27-11-2018, 3 22 33 PM

In the morning šŸ”…šŸ”† & before the race šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø starts during this 3ļøāƒ£-day festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽ€, the riverside & streets were much more peaceful šŸ˜Œ

Once the race starts around šŸ”Ÿam, the huge crowd šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« at the riverside will be observed šŸ˜ƒšŸ‘šŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ»

However, in 2015 this celebration šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ was cancelled āŒ due to the low ā¬‡ļø water level šŸ’¦šŸ’§

Hurrayā€¼ļøĀ She šŸ‘©šŸ» always wanna appreciating & experiencing a country’s tradition culture during her travels āœˆļøšŸŽ’šŸ•¶šŸ§¢šŸ‘ŸĀ This is just so a lovely šŸ’“ coincidenceĀ šŸ˜‰

So, what’s this water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ festival šŸŽŠšŸŽ‰ all aboutā“ā‰ļø

It’s a 3ļøāƒ£ days non-religious celebration šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ & symbolised as an ancient appreciation šŸ™šŸ» for centuries to the river šŸ’¦šŸ’§for providing a source of livelihood to the farmers šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸŒ¾šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸŒ¾ & fishermen šŸŸšŸŽ£

Hmm…It’s a kind of local Khmers šŸ‡°šŸ‡šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬ thanksgiving šŸ™ celebration šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ

The Cambodian boat crews šŸ‡°šŸ‡šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø were face forward. Many of the boat crews šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø were complemented with a colorfully-costumed lady šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøat the prow dancing to the beat of the drums šŸ„šŸ„

However, from her observation, majority of the boats now don’t really practising this tradition though. Hmm…From her 2ļøāƒ£ days visits to the festival, she only noticed for 2ļøāƒ£Ā boats with a colorfully-costumed lady šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø at the front of the boat šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

For the 1ļøāƒ£st 2ļøāƒ£ days, races šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø are run with 2ļøāƒ£ boats šŸ›¶šŸ›¶ each, with the big race šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø happening on the last day, when all the boats šŸ›¶šŸ›¶ take to the river šŸ’¦šŸ’§ to compete šŸ˜ƒ

There were carnival, rides, traditional music šŸŽ¼šŸŽ¶šŸŽµ performances, dances šŸ’ƒšŸ»šŸ•ŗšŸ¼šŸ‘Æā€ā™€ļøšŸ‘Æā€ā™‚ļøšŸ•“šŸ»etc. in the evening šŸ™šŸŒƒšŸŒŒ

There were many stall vendors, definitely food šŸ›šŸ²šŸ„˜šŸ½šŸ“& drink šŸ„¤šŸ»šŸ·šŸ„‚šŸøšŸ¹overflow on the streets, Khmer pop bands šŸŽ¼šŸŽ¹šŸŽ§šŸŽ¶šŸŽµentertaining the crowds šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« etc.

Photo 27-11-2018, 12 43 20 PM

Personally, she šŸ‘©šŸ» was impressed how the local vendors actually earn their living šŸ’°by selling drinks šŸ„¤& snacks šŸ„”šŸ°šŸ„§šŸ„Ŗ to the huge crowds šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« at the riverside during the boat racing šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

There were approximately 300 boats šŸ›¶šŸ›¶ with 19k pax of boat rowers šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø Wow!!

Hmm…šŸ¤” How about the huge crowd šŸ‘šŸ‘«šŸ‘¬attended for this 3ļøāƒ£-day festival celebration šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ in Phnom Penhā“ā‰ļø

IMG_4571.JPG

It was about 4.5million people šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« including expatriates, foreign visitors, local Khmers from all provinces etc. as shared at the closing ceremony šŸ˜

Ohh yeahā€¼ļø This year, 2018 i.e. The 3rd great successfull year with Cambodia šŸ‡°šŸ‡ has handbuilt the world šŸŒšŸ—ŗ ‘s longest rowing boat šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø at 87.3m long & 1.99m wide with cost of $60k. It was completed successfully šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ» in Sept by more than 14k local Khmers šŸ‡°šŸ‡šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« in 192 days šŸ˜²šŸ˜ƒ

Guess whatā“ā‰ļø

Another Guinness World šŸŒšŸ—ŗ Record šŸ† won (It’s the 5ļøāƒ£th one) by Cambodia šŸ‡°šŸ‡ as this long dragon boat šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø is capable of carrying 179 boat rowers šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø on itā€¼ļø Wowā€¼ļøšŸ˜² This great šŸ‘šŸ» news was anounced on 12 Nov at Prey Veng province of Phnom Penh šŸ‡°šŸ‡

From her own experience, a few points šŸ“ŒšŸ“Œ to note if you’re interested to be at Phnom Penh or Siem Reap for this great šŸ‘šŸ» annual celebration šŸŽŠšŸŽ‰

Ohh ya…A pair of comfy shoes šŸ‘Ÿ is essentials āœ…Ā because itĀ was vehicles free šŸ†“Ā i.e. No public transport āŒšŸšŒšŸš•šŸš— šŸš being available to theĀ festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ groundšŸ“, more details via šŸŒ https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50551697/city-hall-issues-vehicle-ban-for-water-festival/

In this connection, the only option would be just getting around by your own foot šŸ‘£

Yeahā€¼ļø SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» got her sun ā˜€ļøšŸŒž protection from theĀ šŸ†•Ā Petal Velvet SunawayĀ SPF50 ordered & purchased šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ›’ fromĀ Althea KoreaĀ šŸ‡°šŸ‡· You must remember to put up your sunscreen to avoid sunburn

Photo 27-11-2018, 12 35 31 PM.jpg

Next, do bring an umbrella šŸŒ‚ā˜‚ (You may loan it from your hotel, it can be a weapon if needed)/ wear a cap šŸ§¢

Do dress up in a light modest clothing šŸ‘š to enjoy the boat šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø race cheerings with the local Khmers šŸ‡°šŸ‡šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« at the riverside under the hot sunny šŸ˜Žā˜€ļø day

Ohh ya…Do remember your refillable water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ bottle to avoid dehydration ya šŸ˜Œ

She šŸ‘©šŸ» was with the local Khmers šŸ‡°šŸ‡šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬ on her 1ļøāƒ£st visit & then 2ļøāƒ£nd visit the next day at the designated area by Tourism Cambodia šŸ‡°šŸ‡ for the foreign tourists šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«šŸ‘Ā (Served with free šŸ†“ flow of drinksšŸ„¤šŸ„¤available)

The riversides šŸ’¦šŸ’§ were extremely packed & crowded šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«šŸ‘ with both the local Khmers šŸ‡°šŸ‡šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬ & foreign tourists to cheering for their favorite ā¤ļø boatsšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøduring the races, so suggest you to bring only the bare necessities & hold on tight to what you have. Also being alert with your surroundings too while in the huge crowd šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«

Whyā“ā‰ļø

Hmm…You never know whether you will be being targetted by any pick-pockets/ bag-snatchers šŸ˜ˆšŸ‘æ whom may just roaming around the crowded festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ riversides šŸ’¦šŸ’§& streets. So, even thoughĀ this festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ is a free šŸ†“ celebration šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ , however it can get really expensive if you make a mistake by carrying valuables into the crowds šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«

Always better be safe then sorry ya ā˜ŗļøšŸ˜‰

There were several types of rowing šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø styles observed from her visits, i.e. sitting down & manual rowing, standing up & manual rowing, standing up & auto rowing etc. She šŸ‘©šŸ» is curious šŸ¤” how the marks will be allocate within each different styles as well as the determining factors of winning šŸ†šŸŽ– tooā“ā‰ļø

Perhaps logically the shortest time šŸ•› of completion from the start till end time of each boat at the finishing line (The 2ļøāƒ£ red ā¤ļø boats šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø as captured in the photo šŸ“ø & vBlog šŸ“¹šŸŽ„below)

There were live announcement during the boat racing šŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸš£šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø, however in local Khmer šŸ‡°šŸ‡ language & āŒ no English translation. It would be good to have a live English announcement in the next year festival onwards ya šŸ˜Š

The King Norodom Sihamoni šŸ¤“šŸ», Prime Minister Hun Sen šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼& some senior officials šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø have all attended the closing ceremony on the last day of this festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ She šŸ‘©šŸ» has observed from the TV screen šŸ“ŗ at the foreign visitors designated booth

Ohh ya…She šŸ‘©šŸ» has enjoyed the longest & the pretty šŸ˜šŸ¤© fireworks šŸŽ†šŸŽ‡ so far from the closing ceremony of this water festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ

Really amazing beautiful šŸ˜šŸ¤© & with the boats šŸ›¶šŸ›¶ decorated with LED lightingšŸ’”šŸ’”screens represented by each relevant authorities of organising & managing this water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ festival šŸŽŠšŸŽ‰ e.g. Tourism, Justice, Ministry of Art & Handicrafts etc. to name a few noted šŸ˜‰

SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» has captured a vBlog šŸ“¹šŸŽ„ for sharing here, do click in to enjoy it ya šŸ¤—

Ohh ya…Some of the eateries šŸ½šŸ“ & shops šŸ›’šŸ›may close ā›”ļø during this water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ festival šŸŽ‰šŸŽŠ (All 3ļøāƒ£ days) & resume their operation then šŸ¤—

This festival šŸŽŠšŸŽ‰ also ended with lots of clean up & tidy up at the riverside by the local Khmers šŸ‡°šŸ‡šŸ‘¬šŸ‘¬šŸ‘¬

National Park Pahang, Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾

Yeahā€¼ļøĀ SiennyLovesDrawingĀ šŸ‘©šŸ»Ā has recently travelled to Taman NegaraĀ šŸŒ³šŸŒ³Ā (aka National ParkĀ šŸŒ³šŸŒ³Ā ) Pahang, Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ with MITA business networking trip & enjoyed her back to nature šŸ’šĀ stay šŸ›ŒšŸšæšŸš½šŸ˜“šŸ’¤ at Han Rainforest Resort šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ”

Oppsss…SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» has forgot šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø to have a photo šŸ“ø with Uncle KennyĀ šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼Ā during this trip

He šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼ has generously shared an article āœšŸ»šŸ“œwrote by him & SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» would like to share šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ’»šŸ“ it here, inclusion of her favourite ā¤ļø emojisss & capturesss šŸ“ø in between šŸ˜ƒšŸ˜

šŸ¤—Ā ~ Sharing is caring as always ~~ šŸ¤—

Taman NegarašŸŒ³šŸŒ³, situated in the heart ā¤ļøof Pahang, Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ , is 1ļøāƒ£ of the oldest rainforest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ in the world šŸ—ŗšŸŒ at 130 million years old

Within it, lays a geographical šŸŒ wonder of permanently untouched & protected habitat for flora šŸŒ³šŸŒ±šŸŒæšŸŒŗ & fauna šŸ¦“šŸ†šŸ…šŸ˜ to florish to all its glory

As such, this a perfect šŸ‘šŸ» platform for the development of a hub towards the education of conservation of the ecology surrounding Taman Negara & rainforests in general šŸŒ³šŸŒ³

We strongly believe that Taman Negara šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ has the potential to be a global šŸ—ŗšŸŒ platform for the both Eco & Adventure education tourism centre šŸ˜ƒ

My šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼ humble beginnings of 30 plus years specialising in tourism at Taman Negara šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ & the handling of some 1ļøāƒ£ million over tourists šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬ since day 1ļøāƒ£, has led me šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼ to the formation of 2ļøāƒ£ travel agencies (NKS & Han Travel) & a resort šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ” with the biggest room capacity at Kuala Tahan. We average 30k tourists šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«šŸ‘ a year & 90% of them are from Europe šŸ‡¬šŸ‡§ šŸ‡®šŸ‡¹ šŸ‡©šŸ‡Ŗ šŸŒšŸ—ŗ

It has come to a time, where I šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼ feel personally, having been in this trade for 30 odd years, it is time to educate the younger generation šŸ‘§šŸ»šŸ§’šŸ»šŸ‘¦šŸ»šŸ§‘šŸ» & anyone from all walks of life willing to learn about the conservation šŸ’š of the ecology & its surroundings

We at Han Travel, have formed 2ļøāƒ£ new šŸ†• arms in our corporation to execute the upcoming programs called Eco Adventure Tourism šŸ’ššŸ’š

This will be encased with the educational arm named the Eco Educational Tourism, headed by Mr Frank Kee & his team šŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø & in support šŸ’ŖšŸ» with the activities provided by the Adventure Management Tourism headed by Mr Kevin Bateman & his team šŸ™‹šŸ½ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ™‹šŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Just 1ļøāƒ£ of our examples for the educational program is the re-planting of bamboo šŸŽ‹šŸŽor specific trees šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ by badly eroded areas in the effort to prevent further damage to the riversides šŸ’¦šŸ’§

This is just an example of what we would provide as a CSR initiative šŸ˜€

We shall be working closely with the Sultan Ahmad Environmental foundation šŸ’š in its efforts, participate & uphold its values šŸ˜Š

Alas, with our planning & preparation, we now realise that we face a huge stumbling block šŸ˜„šŸ˜“ We do not a permanent site to conduct our activities in a conducive & safe manner šŸ˜Œ

Also, current rules & regulations by the government sectors should be looked at & revised to enable operators like us šŸ‘šŸ‘«šŸ‘¬ to introduce & execute the mutually beneficial conservational education programs šŸ’ššŸ’š

In the extended period, the efforts will benefit not just the environment šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸ’š but also creating employment opportunity to the locals within its surroundings šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘«

IšŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼now urge, the Pahang state Government, Ministry of Tourism & other related government agencies to assist us in paving the way into this journey with us šŸ™šŸ»šŸ¤šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Other Asian countries are already promoting their countrysā€™ tagline, for example;-

  • Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ ~ Culture tourism
  • Indonesia šŸ‡®šŸ‡© ~ Art tourism
  • Philippines šŸ‡µšŸ‡ ~ Diving tourism
  • Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ ~ Eco & Adventure tourism

All told, our Ministry of Tourism Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ have also set their vision šŸ’ on Eco Tourism šŸ’š with its plans & implementation of its program from 2025 & continued focusing till 2050

Han Travel Sdn Bhd, is now at the final phases of the planning & is almost ready to launch our initial program on Eco & Adventure Tourism šŸ’ššŸ’š The launch pad & operations will be at the Han Rainforest Resort, Kuala Tahan šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ”

We hope our efforts will promote & drive the state of Pahang to be model state & also the centre of Ecological šŸ’š Awareness & the centre for the Education on Rainforest Preservation šŸŒ³šŸŒ³

Once again, I šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ’¼ believe that our vision is in line with the Pahang State governmentā€™s. Developing a fully functioning centre where the education of the ecology šŸ’š can spread to all walks of life through an experiential process where participants šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬ can touch, feel, smell, see and hear the importance of the ecology šŸ’šaround us & the threats to its and our existence šŸ˜ƒšŸ˜

Thank you šŸ™šŸ»

#TravelogueMalaysia: A Stay Vacation @ Belum Rainforest Resort

Yeahā€¼ļø SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» & her media friends šŸ‘¬šŸ‘šŸ‘« recently travelled šŸŽ’šŸ•¶šŸ§¢šŸ‘Ÿfor a nature šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³ comfy šŸ˜Œ stay vacation šŸ›ŒšŸ›‹šŸ›€šŸ» at Belum Rainforest ResortšŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ”, Perak, West Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾

https://plus.google.com/+SiennyLovesDrawing/posts/531QyJGrksW

She šŸ‘©šŸ» really loves ā¤ļø the beautiful šŸ˜ nature of Belum-Temengor Rainforest šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’š

Royal Belum State Park šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’š is a 130 million years old rainforest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ & the untouched forest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ is home to a large variety of flora & fauna šŸ˜šŸ¤©

Guess whatā“ā‰ļø

It’s 1ļøāƒ£ of the attractionsšŸ“šŸ“not to be missed to searching for the precious bloom of the World šŸ—ŗšŸŒ ‘s largest & arguably smelliest flower šŸŒŗ i.e. Rafflesia

It found all over Southeast Asia šŸŒŽ i.e. from Southern Thailand šŸ‡¹šŸ‡ to Philippines šŸ‡µšŸ‡ Each species can be identified by the unique patterns on the petals. There are 8ļøāƒ£ species of Rafflesias šŸŒŗ can be found in Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ with 3ļøāƒ£ of them are endemic to the Malay Peninsula & of courseĀ can be found in the Belum-Temengor rainforest complex šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’š

She šŸ‘©šŸ» has visited the 3ļøāƒ£rd time in 2018 & her volunteering trip with Malaysian Nature Society (MNS)šŸ’š, you may enjoy reading šŸ“– her ecotourism & hornbill šŸ¦ conservation volunteering via šŸŒhttps://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2018/10/01/ecotourism-belum-temenggor/

Sigh…She šŸ‘©šŸ» still missed a chance to personally view šŸ‘€ the blossom huge Rafflesia šŸŒŗĀ cry…cry…cry…šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

Yeahā€¼ļø Happy šŸ˜ƒsafe arrival from a full of laughtersss šŸ¤£šŸ˜† of approximately 6ļøāƒ£-hour travel journey šŸš from Kuala Lumpur (KL) city šŸ™šŸŒ† early morning šŸ”…šŸ”† with Travel with Aidil to Belum Rainforest Resort šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ” by Emkay Group as 1ļøāƒ£ of the Malaysia šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ ā€™s premier ecotourism šŸ’š destinationšŸ“

It offering the chance to get close to nature šŸ’š especially for nature lovers & travel lovers.Ā You will definitely enjoy the complete relaxation šŸ˜Œ & serenity with its quiet & green nature surroundings šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’š

Hmm…If you are driving šŸš—šŸš™ through North East Highway towards Kelantan, you will pass 2ļøāƒ£ scenic bridges šŸŒ‰ i.e. you are actually passing on an island šŸ–šŸ

Lake Temenggor šŸž is MalaysiašŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ā€™s 2ļøāƒ£nd largest lake šŸ’¦šŸ’§& home to more than 23 species of freshwater fish šŸŸ & at least 5ļøāƒ£ species of turtles šŸ¢šŸ¢ As the lake šŸ’¦šŸ’§covers 117.5k hectares & contains 6k million cubic metres of water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ , who knows what other creatures live there that have yet to be discovered šŸ˜‰

Guess whatā“ā‰ļø

Pulau Banding šŸšŸ– in Belum Temenggor complex šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’š i.e. the public jetty āš“ļø & Belum Rainforest Resort šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ” is located actually was not an island šŸ–šŸ Instead it’s 1ļøāƒ£ Malaysian šŸ‡²šŸ‡¾ historical & beautiful scenic location šŸ“

In 1970, due to the effort to fight communist & to build a hydro šŸ’¦šŸ’§electric dam has resulted in part of the Belum-Temenggor forest complex šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’š submerged in the water šŸ’¦šŸ’§of Sungai Perak. It took 4ļøāƒ£ years to build the 2ļøāƒ£ bridges šŸŒ‰šŸŒ‰ to providing the convenience of East North East travelling šŸš—šŸš™ via a scenic šŸ˜šŸ¤© highway. The view of the 1ļøāƒ£st bridge šŸŒ‰ is spectacular from Belum Rainforest ResortšŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’ššŸ”šŸ”

Hmm…Why this resortšŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ”ā“ā‰ļø

You have to venture into this 130 million years old rainforest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ & view mother nature šŸ’ššŸ’š at its finest, so let’s plan your stay vacation šŸ›ŒšŸ›‹šŸ›€šŸ» too at Belum Rainforest Resort šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ’ššŸ”šŸ”

Definitely you will enjoy your stay šŸ›ŒšŸ›‹šŸ›€šŸ»experience in the comfort of a spacious traditional designed chalet style room šŸ” in the middle of a rainforest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ setting with a great šŸ‘šŸ» view from the private balcony overlooking the Temengor Lake & lush surroundings šŸžšŸ’¦šŸ’§

It’s not āŒ for luxury stay & your stay actually contribute to the rainforest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ protection fund šŸ’° Yeahā€¼ļø A meanigful nature conservation šŸ’š stay with this resort ya šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ”

She šŸ‘©šŸ» has made a visit to the Pulau Banding Discovery Centre šŸ  to understand better šŸ‘šŸ» its nature šŸ’š conservation & rainforest šŸŒ³šŸŒ³ protection efforts. Bravoā€¼ļøšŸ‘šŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Curious šŸ¤” about its hotel roomā“ā‰ļø

SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» was checked-in šŸ” with her media best buddy šŸ‘ in a spacious comfy Chengal Lake View Executive Deluxe room (with a balcony & bath tub šŸ›€šŸ» )

Oppsss…Her room not really seeing the lake view as the trees šŸŒ³Ā in front of her room just so tall…Ha…Ha…Instead she got a nice green view šŸ’š

Hmm…As a go green šŸ’šsupporter, SiennyLovesDrawing šŸ‘©šŸ» wishes this ecotourism resort šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ” can consider to set up some water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ dispensers within its resort compound šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ” & then prepare the glass water bottles/ jugs/ flasks in hotel rooms, instead of plastic bottled water šŸ’¦šŸ’§ for all its guests šŸ‘«šŸ‘šŸ‘¬ This definitely will reduce ā¬‡ļø lots of the plastic usage

IMG_7309.jpg

There are plenty of room types range from dorm, executive room, villa etc. for your resort šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ” stay selection āœ…

Hmm…The resort šŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ” wifi šŸ“¶ connection was surprisingly slow & frequent down to connect šŸ˜”šŸ™ƒThough was provided with alternative Unifi connectionšŸ“¶, however it required for long email ID & password to connect, hope this inconvenience for guests šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘« can be enhanced soon

DiningšŸ½šŸ“

Hornbill Restaurant

Upon arrival šŸššŸ’ššŸŒ³šŸŒ³šŸ”šŸ˜šŸ”, she šŸ‘©šŸ» had a simple fried rice lunch šŸ½served here, it’s very tasty delicious šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤

Ha…Ha…Guess whatā“ā‰ļø

She šŸ‘©šŸ» had 2ļøāƒ£ plates of fried rice šŸ›šŸ›…Oppsss…surely exceed her rice šŸš quota of 1ļøāƒ£ week šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£, time for more frequent morning šŸ”…šŸ”† joggingsss šŸƒšŸ»ā€ā™€ļøšŸƒšŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

Also a tasty table set dinner šŸ½šŸ“ for the 1ļøāƒ£st night šŸŒƒšŸŒŒ, personally she šŸ‘©šŸ» loves ā¤ļø the stuffed beancurd dish & rendang šŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤

Hmm…1ļøāƒ£st experience of having unique sweet taste Western dinnerĀ šŸ½Ā …šŸ˜Œthe sweet taste of Salmon steak (orange šŸŠ sauce), lamb chop (honey šŸÆ sauce) etc.

Her media friends šŸ‘šŸ‘¬šŸ‘¬šŸ‘¬ & herself šŸ‘©šŸ» were all love & enjoyed very much the Kadok pasta (highly recommended šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘†šŸ»), very delicious tastyšŸ˜‹šŸ¤¤, not to be missed ya šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹

Stingless Bee šŸ Farm

From this farm, you will have chance to observe the stingless bees šŸ šŸ named Kelulut in action & learning the process of its honey šŸÆ production. There are plenty species of stingless bees šŸšŸ that each will producing a different-tasting honey šŸÆ
