This actually relating to SiennyLovesDrawing’s 👩🏻 earlier blogging 👩🏻💻📝 via 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2020/05/19/things-cant-wait-to-do-after-the-end-of-covid19-lockdown/
Yes ✅, she wishes to enjoy holidays within her own living city 🌆🏙/ home country 🚗🚌🇲🇾
Yeah‼️ Have you heard about an instagrammable attraction 📍 in Kuala Lumpur (KL), the capital city 🌆🏙 of Malaysia 🇲🇾❓⁉️
She 👩🏻 has 1️⃣st visited it from her earlier participation ✅ as media team for Kuala Lumpur 🌆🏙 What’s Fun trip❓⁉️😃😉
It was before Malaysia 🇲🇾 ‘s Movement Control Order (MCO) even started though…
She 👩🏻 is gonna sharing 👩🏻💻📝aboutthis instagrammable bridge 🌉named Pintasan Saloma in Malaysia 🇲🇾 ‘s national language aka Saloma Link Bridge 🌉
Guess what❓⁉️
It’s now the longest single span steel structure elevated walkway 🌉 in Malaysia 🇲🇾 The orientation of its floor finishes along the walkway is facing the Qibla (Read more via 🌐 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qibla) to create continuity ↔️ between the Pintasan Saloma & Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetery Park
Surely all of you have viewed lots of beautiful 😍🤩captures 📸📹🎥 & news sharing about it whether from the main media 🗞📰 or online social platforms 📱🖥👩🏻💻👨🏻💻
Yes ✅, this Saloma Link with its main structure i.e. A covered elevated steel pedestrian bridge 🌉 already launched for public visit since 5 Feb 2020 in the city 🌆🏙 which commissioned by Kampong Bharu Development Corporation (PKB) 😀
It stretches 370m & span across the AKLEH Highway 🛣 & Klang River of 69m long. Its curved steel roof canopy houses the with 4.1K diamond facade panels & equipped with LED lights💡💡which brightly-lit up at night 🌃🌌 The state-of-the-art lighting actually changing the light colours from time to time to creating amazing images for public to enjoy their walking 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️ & capturing unique moments with it 📸📹🎥
Yes ✅, another iconic landmark 📍 in of Malaysia 🇲🇾 This beautiful 😍🤩 pedestrian bridge 🌉 connects ↔️ between Kampong Baru & Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) just 7️⃣mins walking 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️distance as compared to 30mins in the past, from Jalan Sungai Baru to Jalan Saloma (reason of its name) & expanding over Klang River
A seamless pedestrian connectivity ↔️ between both the old & new 🆕 worlds of KL 🌆🏙, a mere distance from the Kampung Baru LRT 🚉 The construction of this bridge took 1.5 years to complete with cost 💰 of RM31mil (approximately USD7.5mil), including its consultancy cost
The bridge’s architecture is inspired by the Sirih Junjung in Malaysia 🇲🇾‘s national language aka Betel Leaf concept, a must in traditional Malay wedding ceremonies 🎉🎊 as a symbol of unity among the Malay community. Also its design slightly similar to Bridge of Peace, a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge 🌉 with steel & glass construction over the Kura River at in downtown Tbilisi, capital of Georgia 🇬🇪, read more via 🌐 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_of_Peace
Personally SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 recommends to visit this bridge 🌉 for both day time 🌆 & night time 🏙 for a different photo/ video 📸📹🎥 capturing fun & effects pleasure. Hmm…Please note that this link bridge 🌉 is not ❌ open for 24 hours. Operation hours 🕔 as shared at the bottom of this post 📌
Free admission ya 🆓🎟
Don’t worry about your personal safety while visiting it 🌉 at late hours as it’s well equipped with CCTV 📺 & rotation of security guard 👮🏻♂️👮🏻♀️
She 👩🏻would like to reminding public, both Malaysians & foreign visitors 👫👭👬 to maintaining the cleanliness 🚮of this bridge, perhaps by not ❌ having any snacks/ beverages 🍟🌯🍿🥤 while visiting this link bridge
Let’s all of us be a responsible traveller whenever & wherever we are 😊
Ohh ya…Not just that, this bridge also aims for healthy lifestyle in the city 🌆🏙, it’s promoting walkability within the city 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️
A 5️⃣ km fun walk 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️ ~ Jejak Warisan @ Pintasan Saloma 2020 was organised on 29 Feb 2020 to celebrate 🎉🎊 the Happy Federal Territory Day in conjunction of the opening ceremony of this Saloma Link Bridge 🌉
Then she 👩🏻 got contacted with PKB FB page & received invitation as media 😃😁 So she wore a blue running 🏃🏻♀️ shirt 🎽👕 & enjoyed a great sweat 😓💦💧as she always enjoy, yeah‼️
So happy 😃 she 👩🏻 has joined this Jejak Warisan Pintasan Saloma as both media & participant 🚶🏻♀️
It was a great 👍🏻 event organised with not just the fun walk 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️, also a Malay traditional costume & kids colouring competition
A great 👍🏻 sweat 💦💧 with a beautiful unique wooden crafted medal 🥇 Yeah‼️👏🏻🙌🏻
So, when will be your turn to checking out this less than 5 months new 🆕 Insta-Worthy tourist spot 📍 in KL 🌆🏙 ❓⁉️
