Yes โ , she wishes to enjoy holidays within her own living city ๐๐/ home country ๐๐๐ฒ๐พ
Yeahโผ๏ธ Have you heard about an instagrammable attraction ๐ in Kuala Lumpur (KL), the capital city ๐๐ of Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พโโ๏ธ
She ๐ฉ๐ป has 1๏ธโฃst visited it from her earlier participation โ as media team for Kuala Lumpur ๐๐ What’s Fun tripโโ๏ธ๐๐
It was before Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ ‘s Movement Control Order (MCO) even started though…
She ๐ฉ๐ป is gonna sharing ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ป๐aboutthis instagrammable bridge ๐named Pintasan Saloma in Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ ‘s national language aka Saloma Link Bridge ๐
Guess whatโโ๏ธ
It’s now the longest single span steel structure elevated walkway ๐ in Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ The orientation of its floor finishes along the walkway is facing the Qibla (Read more via ๐ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qibla) to create continuity โ๏ธ between the Pintasan Saloma & Jalan Ampang Muslim Cemetery Park
Surely all of you have viewed lots of beautiful ๐๐คฉcaptures ๐ธ๐น๐ฅ & news sharing about it whether from the main media ๐๐ฐ or online social platforms ๐ฑ๐ฅ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐ป๐จ๐ปโ๐ป
Yes โ , this Saloma Link with its main structure i.e. A covered elevated steel pedestrian bridge ๐ already launched for public visit since 5 Feb 2020 in the city ๐๐ which commissioned by Kampong Bharu Development Corporation (PKB) ๐
It stretches 370m & span across the AKLEH Highway ๐ฃ & Klang River of 69m long. Its curved steel roof canopy houses the with 4.1K diamond facade panels & equipped with LED lights๐ก๐กwhich brightly-lit up at night ๐๐ The state-of-the-art lighting actually changing the light colours from time to time to creating amazing images for public to enjoy their walking ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ & capturing unique moments with it ๐ธ๐น๐ฅ
Yes โ , another iconic landmark ๐ in of Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ This beautiful ๐๐คฉ pedestrian bridge ๐ connects โ๏ธ between Kampong Baru & Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) just 7๏ธโฃmins walking ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธdistance as compared to 30mins in the past, from Jalan Sungai Baru to Jalan Saloma (reason of its name) & expanding over Klang River
A seamless pedestrian connectivity โ๏ธ between both the old & new ๐ worlds of KL ๐๐, a mere distance from the Kampung Baru LRT ๐ The construction of this bridge took 1.5 years to complete with cost ๐ฐ of RM31mil (approximately USD7.5mil), including its consultancy cost
The bridgeโs architecture is inspired by the Sirih Junjung in Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ‘s national language aka Betel Leaf concept, a must in traditional Malay wedding ceremonies ๐๐ as a symbol of unity among the Malay community. Also its design slightly similar to Bridge of Peace, a bow-shaped pedestrian bridge ๐ with steel & glass construction over the Kura River at in downtown Tbilisi, capital of Georgia ๐ฌ๐ช, read more via ๐ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge_of_Peace
