Yesโ , again she travelled to 1๏ธโฃ of her favourite state in home country, Malaysia ๐ฒ๐พ ~ Perak, it’s just so much more places ๐๐to exploring ya ๐๐
Guess whatโโ๏ธ
She ๐ฉ๐ป was really enjoying her tube camping at Perak Agrotourism Resort (PATRO)๐๐ก๐, her 1๏ธโฃst experience to experience this slightly different from her norm ๐ resort accommodation ๐๐
This was her 3๏ธโฃrd accommodation after checked out from Casuarina@Meru ๐ข from her recent Perak trip. About an hour coach ๐๐ journey (approximately 3๏ธโฃ hours drive from KL)
There are a total of 20 tube camps in this resort ๐๐ก๐ & all named upon the town names within Perak state ๐ฒ๐พย Upon arrival, she checked-in to her tube camp named Kampar with her roommate๐ญ Each tube camp for 2๏ธโฃpax & RM100/night ๐ค
As you observe from the captures, these are aka micro houses which all are made out of concrete water pipesย ๐
When 1๏ธโฃst checked-in๐, her roommate & herself ๐ญ felt a bit not used to its size & narrow, also its round foot ๐ฃ ground, none flat. Subsequently, loves the stay then ๐, click in below for her photo album in IG yaย ๐
She loves โค๏ธ her tube camp scenery ๐ ~ a peaceful beautiful tin mining lake ๐ & greenery mango orchard surrounding ๐ณ๐๐ณ
Not to worry as a proper shared toilet ๐ฝย &ย shower ๐ฟย facilities, including relax chilling area are providedย ๐
Buffet breakfast served at its cafe dining areaย โ๐ฝ๏ธ
Hmm…PATRO is a boutique resort ๐๐ก๐ & launched since 14 May 2016. It combines both agriculture ๐ฉ๐ปโ๐พ๐จ๐ปโ๐พ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ณ & tourism elements aka agrotourism on its 670 acres land (Not to worry, tram ๐/ truck ๐ transfer/ buggy ๐ available, no tiring walking) & providing a 4๏ธโฃ-star โญ๏ธ accommodation ๐๐ฟ๐๐ป๐ฝ to all guests ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ
Highly recommended ๐๐ป๐๐ป as another relaxing ๐place to visit whenever you are visiting to Perak state of Malaysia ya ๐ฒ๐พ

(i) ATV ๐
She ๐ฉ๐ป enjoyed this recreationally with her friends ๐ญ๐ฌ to explore resort areas ๐๐ก๐ that are inaccessible by buggy ๐ as well as a track ๐ for its guests ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ซ to have a closer look ๐ at the plants ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ณ, insects/ animals ๐พ๐ฆ๐๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฐalong the ATV ride ๐
Hmm…Don’t speed for your safety ya โบ๏ธ๐
(ii) Paddle Boat ๐ฃ๐ปโโ๏ธ / Canoe ๐ถ
She ๐ฉ๐ป loves โค๏ธ her relaxing ๐๐ paddle boat ๐ฃ๐ปโโ๏ธ time with her roommate ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ on a tin mining lake ๐
You can enjoying canoeing ๐ถ too. The life jacket ๐ฝ & safety helmet โ are available โ for its guests’ usage as a safety cum protection measure ๐๐ป
(iii) Horse ๐ / pony ๐ด Riding
She ๐ฉ๐ป has ride on Aliya, a horse ๐ from Argentina ๐ฆ๐ท as introduced by the friendly trained officer ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ who had welcoming her friends ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ & herself ๐ฉ๐ป for the horse ๐ ride that evening ๐ during her stay ๐
PATRO’s Horse ๐ด๐ Riding Club is open fromย 8.30am to 11am & 4pm to 6pm (Tue to Sun, subject to weather โ๏ธโ๏ธ condition)
(iv) Chilli ๐ถ Fertigation
She ๐ฉ๐ป was learning from the brief lecture ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฅ on how the fertigation technique works during her farm tour.ย This farm uses a controlled application of water ๐ฆ๐ง & fertilizers to maximizes the chilli ๐ถ crop yield. Also it’sย using several solar ๐ plants to creating an โedible gardenโ ๐๐ป๐๐ป
The chillies ๐ถ๐ถ here are huge…oppsss…bigger than her face ๐๐
Also the chillies ๐ถ๐ถย here with different grades
Tips ๐๐กlearnt for sharing: If you are gonna cook dishes today with chillies ๐ถ๐ถ , pick the total red โค๏ธ one. If you wish to cook with chillies ๐ถ๐ถ in dishes within a week or slightly longer, pick the chillies with some greens ๐ ya
(v) Stingless Bee ๐ Farm
1๏ธโฃst, she paid attention to a lecture ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ค๐ฅ about the stingless bee ๐ , the nutrition value of its honey ๐ฏ contains/ health benefits, as well as the farming & harvesting methods ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Then, the exciting ๐ moment, she got a straw & tasted the fresh honey ๐ฏ directly from the bee hive. Hurrayโผ๏ธ Yummy ๐คค๐…Yummy ๐๐คค…
(vi) Duck ๐ฆ Egg ๐ฅFarm
This was an interesting โ๐ปexperience for her as she learnt aboutย the process of making the salted egg ๐ฅ , including the tools/ equipment required ๐
All guests ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ซ were being briefed by the guide ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ regarding the ducks ๐ฆ๐ฆ in the farm,ย how to grade the salted eggs ๐ฅ๐ฅetc.
Ohh…She ๐ฉ๐ป wanna visit the duck ๐ฆ farm & handpick the duck eggs ๐ฅ๐ฅ , however due to the big group size, it wasn’t encouraged by the farm guide ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ Reason being the ducks ๐ฆ๐ฆ will get stressed ๐ฉ๐ซ & then disturbing they lay eggs ๐ฅ๐ฅ schedule ๐
Must buy the salted eggs ๐ฅ๐ฅ from this farm as it’s hygience, all duck ๐ฆ eggs ๐ฅ๐ฅ will be washed ๐ฆ๐ง& cleaned 1๏ธโฃst before proceed forย salted eggs making ๐๐ป
But….but…She didn’t managed to buy a box, all sold out ๐ due to high demands from her group of friends ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ during this recent trip. Cry ๐ข๐ญ…cry ๐ข๐ญ…
Other activities including cycling ๐ด๐ปโโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ , petting zoo ๐ฅ๐ฐ๐, paintball ๐ซ, mango farm, duck ๐ฆ farm, herbal garden ๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ปetc.
There is a lotus ๐บ๐บย pond outside the horse riding ๐ด๐ย club, don’t forget to taste the fresh lotus seeds yaย ๐๐

We have never been camping but after seeing this picture I think we will book a camping trip soon. It looks like so much fun.

Hmm…Actually the normal camping would be different from this recent tube camping of mine ya ๐
Just sharing that the usual camping will be setting up tent on a flat ground & outdoor definitely, however this tube camping, I was staying in a literally renovated water pipe camp ๐

The tube camping sounds really neat. I had never heard of it before now. By the pictures, it looks like a really good time. Especially the horseback riding.

Well doesn’t this place just look like a fun little adventure!! My husband and I really need to go on an adventure again. We used to all the time but we haven’t in a long while.
