Hey all‼️ How have you spent your 2018 year end break❓⁉️
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 would like to sharing 👩🏻💻📝 about her 2018 year end travelling 🎒🕶👟🧢 with Take Me Tour, Thailand 🇹🇭
Pick 1️⃣ ~ Samut Sakhon from Bangkok: Salt Farm Tour & Homemade Seafood ~
Yes ✅, she 👩🏻 has booked 👩🏻💻🛒 more than a tour…do stay tune for her next blogging ya 👩🏻💻📝
Actually not just a wide variety of day tours, Take Me Tour also providing private car 🚗🚙 airport transfer ✈️, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has booked 👩🏻💻🛒✅ for a few & really impressed 👍🏻🤩 with its reliable, safe & comfy ride 🚗🚙 to/ from Don Mueang International Airport ✈️
Do consider for your convenience especially with night 🌃🌌🛬 arrival ya
Before she 👩🏻 has decided on this tour, she 👩🏻 has read 📖 about the local expert of this said tour named Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ who has introduced herself as a wanderer in this small village & then become a close friend to many villagers 👫👭👬
During the tour, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has observed that Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ really having a great 👍🏻 relationship with the villagers 👭👬👫 & communicating well 🗣👥👤👥 with them. Definitely a strong healthy bonding 👍🏻🤝 & friendship being built, bravo 👏🏻🙌🏻 to her 🙋🏻♀️‼️
She 👩🏻 also truly believes that Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️has chosen ✅ to lead this day tour to introduce to all guests 👬👭👫 about this small village in a less travelled province ~ Samut Sakhon, Thailand 🇹🇭 i.e. from the salt water 💦💧 gate, mangrove forest 🌳🌳 , salt farm, home made seafoods 🍽🍴🦀🦐🐟 etc.
Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ also aims to help to boost ⬆️ the economy of this small village & increase ⬆️ the earning power 💰 of the villagers 👭👫👬 here especially during the raining ☔️🌧 season where most of the salt farmers here will be experiencing the low ⬇️ salt harvesting
Hmm…How’s this day tour thoughout❓⁉️
She 👩🏻 woke up early that morning 🔅🔆 & went for a local Thai “bak kut teh” breakfast 😋🤤 , a non-halal dish ~ herb pork 🐖🐷🐽 soup 🍲🥣 served with rice 🍛😋🤤 It’s just a stall outside of a local Thai 🇹🇭👫‘s home 🏠🏡 & within walking 🚶🏻♀️ distance from her hotel 🏢 named Bangkok Loft Inn
This hotel 🏢 is located at📍55 Somdet Phra Chao Taksin Rd., Bangyeerua, Thonburi, Bangkok 10600, Thailand 🇹🇭 A nice 👍🏻 comfy stay 🛌🚿🚽with its strategic location📍 i.e. 5️⃣mins walking 🚶🏻♀️ distance to the Wongwian Yai BTS skytrain station 🚉, very convenient 🆗🆒 More details for your hotel booking 👩🏻💻👨🏻💻🛒 via 🌐 http://www.bangkokloftinn.com/
Do check out her FB photos album captured from this day tour 📸📸
After breakfast 🍽🍴😋🤤, she 👩🏻 then proceeded 🚶🏻♀️to take the BTS skytrain 🚊 from Wongwian Yai station 🚉 Oppsss…Too early arrival 🔅🔆 at BTS station named Wutthakat 🚉, not because of the time difference ya…
Yes✅, she was about 1️⃣ hour early from meet up @ 9️⃣am to meet up with Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ as stated in her Take Me Tour booking 📌 Just too excited 😆 for the day tour, Ha…Ha…Don’t laugh 😆😂 at her ya
Yeah‼️ A very nice 👍🏻 morning 🔅🔆 view with river 💦💧, long boat 🛶 & wat ⛩ from the BTS station 🚇 during her wait for the meet up 👩🏻🙋🏻♀️
Hmm…She 👩🏻 was a bit lazy, else she would have walk🚶🏻♀️to visit this wat ⛩ nearby that morning 🔅🔆 Instead she 👩🏻 seated down in the BTS station 🚉 & then logged in to her social medias 📱 & catching up with her friends & family members 👫👭👬 with her new 🆕 Thai simcard named DTAC , more details via 🌐 https://www.dtac.co.th/en/move-to-dtac/
Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ was early to arrive too, so both 👩🏻🙋🏻♀️ then started this day tour slightly early that the scheduled time of 9️⃣am
Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ is so friendly & shares the same travel passion as SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻, hence lots of common interest to chit chat 🗣👤 about during their approximately 30mins journey 🚙 to Samut Sakhon province, also known by the locals as “Maha Chai” 😀
Both happily 😃 exchanged lots of respective travel stories, always a nice 👍🏻 meet & catch up with a travel lover during travel journeys 😁
As you have reading 📖 her earlier blogging 👩🏻💻📝 here, she 👩🏻 has visited plenty of mangrove parks 🌳🌳 in her home country ~ Malaysia 🇲🇾
However, this is SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻‘s 1️⃣st visit to a Thailand 🇹🇭‘s natural coastal mangrove forest 🌳🌳, a home to a wide variety of birds 🦅🐦 & mudskippers 🐟🐟 & along the Gulf of Thailand 🌊🇹🇭
Oppsss…The mudskippers 🐟🐟 here are fat & huge, it was high tides 🌊 during her visit, so not able ❌ to note the colourful Hermit crabs 🐚🦀crawling on the muddy field 😌☺️
Not to missed a visit to its mini museum / perhaps more to a conservation project centre 💚💚 with a collection of whale 🐋🐳 skeletons, details about some small animals lived in this forest 🌳🌳 before as well as some its on-going marine conservation initiatives 🌊💚💚 here i.e. mangrove trees planting 🌳🌳, a bamboo 🎍🎋 border project to avoid further water 💦💧 & soil erosion to this forest 🌳🌳 etc.
These eco 💚💚 sustainable initiatives aim to buidling the bamboo borders 🎍🎋 within the mangrove forest 🌳🌳 were observed by SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 during her visit to protect the mangroves 🌳 being sapling from the sea waves 🌊 ‘ destruction, then soil erosion 😧😲🙃
Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ also into eco tourism 💚 & a green person as SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻, so they have more conversational topics 🗣👤 Ha…Ha…it’s rare to meet a new friend 🙋🏻♀️ with similar travel & conservation passionate 😉
She 👩🏻 has shared a recent sad 😔 news 🗞📰 of the high ⬆️ potential of the de-gazette ❌ of Pulau Kukup Johor National Park 🌴 to Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ during this day tour, you may check out this said dissappointing 😔 online news 👩🏻💻👨🏻💻🗞📰 via 🌐https://www.thestar.com.my/news/nation/2018/12/05/why-did-johor-quietly-degazette-pulau-kukup-national-park-asks-lawyers/
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has wrote 👩🏻💻📝 about this Pulau Kukup Johor National Park 🌴 via link 🌐 https://siennylovesdrawing.wordpress.com/2018/02/18/traveloguemalaysia-pulau-kukup-tanjung-piai/
Guess what❓⁉️
Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️not just a great 👍🏻 local expert in sharing her knowledge about this village, she is also a great photographer 📸
Special thank you 🙏🏻 for the beautiful 😍 photos 📸 of SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 during this mangrove forest 🌳🌳 walk🚶🏻♀️ya 🤗
Next, Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ also brought her to a local cafe 🍽☕️ (Hmm…In Thai name which SiennyLovesDrawing is unable to share the name, refer photo below for the cafe details) by her friend named Joy 💁🏻♀️ & her adorable shy daughter named Minnie 👧🏻 It was a pleasure to meet them & had a quick chit chat about Joy 💁🏻♀️’s recent visit to her orchard plantation 🌱🌿 in Central of Thailand 🇹🇭 , she plants 🌱🌿 for macadomia nuts 🥜 , coffee trees ☕️🌳, pineapples 🍍 etc. Love 💗 all the photos 📸📱 shared by Joy 💁🏻♀️, you will definitely note her passion in plantations 💗🌱🌿
This cafe 🍽☕️ is located📍next to a river 💦💧, it’s really relaxing 😌 to dine 🍽 here to enjoy 😋🤤 the canal view. She 👩🏻 had a Thai tea ice stick ☕️🍦as well as try stir fried fresh vegetables 🥗 planted by Joy 💁🏻♀️ with sardines 🐟, yummy delicious 😋🤤‼️
She 👩🏻 has observed during the car 🚙 journey towards the salt farm that some of the farmers 👬👬👬 here busy hand picking cockles 🐚 in the farms 😄
Yeah‼️ Next, she 👩🏻 has proceeded to visit the salt farm 😃
Yes ✅, the highlight ✨of this tour & she 👩🏻 has been long awaited for. Hmm….Why❓⁉️
This is because she 👩🏻 wanted to visit salt farm in Kampot village, Cambodia 🇰🇭 during her Phnom Penh trip in Nov. However, due to a last mins plan, no ❌ hotel available 🏢 as it was the annual water 💦💧 festival celebration 🎉🎊 , so SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 was forced to cancel ❌ the Kampot visit plan, hence no ❌ chance to have her 1️⃣st visit to a salt farm 😌😔
Everything happens for a reason, then this Take Me Tour booking 👩🏻💻🛒✅ has now fulfilled 🆒🆗 her wish to visit a salt farm, so happy 😃‼️
Salt farming is seasonal & visiting during the dry season between January to April would capture the best view 👍🏻😍
Sea water 💦💧 is 1️⃣st being pumping into the farms. Then, the sea water 💦💧will be evaporated over a period of time, the layers of salt will be manually collected by the salt farmers 👫👭👬
She 👩🏻 has met with the salt farmers 👬👭👫’ family, learnt & discovered how the salt formed & also enjoy a home cooked lunch 🍽🍴with the top 👆🏻notch salt & fresh seafood 🦀🦐🐟 served from the salt farm to table 😋🤤
Do click in☝🏻to SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻’s IG photos album 📸📸 of her salt farm visit & delicious 😋🤤 home cooked seafood dining ya 🍽🍴🦀🦐🐟
Curious 🤔 about the home-cooked dishes that she 👩🏻 has enjoyed 😋🤤❓⁉️
Salt-Baked Seafood ~ Flower crab 🦀 , prawns 🦐 & sea bass 🐟
What’s the best 👍🏻way to enjoy fresh seafoods🦀🦐🐟❓⁉️
Of course not ❌ to fried them, but to steamed them ♨️💦💧
Hmm…Not just that, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has just learnt a new 🆕 home cooked style i.e. to salt-baked the fresh seafoods 🦀🦐🐟
Her 1️⃣st salt-baked dining experience 🍽😋🤤 & she 👩🏻 loves 💗 so much as she gets to taste the original sweetness of the seafoods 👍🏻
How to eat the flower crab 🦀 the local way 🍽🇹🇭❓⁉️
Do click in☝🏻to this short clip 📹🎥 captured while Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ was explaining to her how to enjoy crab 🦀 the local Thai way 🇹🇭🍽😋🤤
https://twitter.com/SiennyLovesDraw/status/1078454342624002048
She 👩🏻 loves 💗 this dish the most as she loves to enjoy fresh seafoods 🦀🦐🐟
Ohh ya…No need ❌ to worry as this salt-baked style will not make the seafoods taste too salty to dine ya 👍🏻😋🤤
Fresh & tasty delicious 😋🤤 , she has missed this dish the most from this day tour‼️😀
You may opt to enjoy the seafoods either by dipping with the home made spicy 🌶 sauce or not
Seepweed Leaf Salad 🥗 with Sauteed Dried Shrimps 🦐
This seepweed aka suaeda plants 🌿 only grow next to a salt farm, wow 😲‼️
Another 1️⃣st tasting 😋🤤 experience of this green vegetable 🌿🥗, actually not just green, it’s also in purple colour 💜
The darker the purple 💜 of the seepweed 🌿, it signifies the higher ⬆️ of the salt concentrate as observed from her salt farm visit 😉
Guess what❓⁉️
A special local Thai 🇹🇭 way to enjoy this salad 🥗 dish, do click in☝🏻for a short clip 📹🎥 captured from Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️’s demo during the lunch🍽🍴
https://twitter.com/SiennyLovesDraw/status/1078453608104943616
The coconut 🌴🥥 milk 🥛 & lime juice 🍋 blends well 👍🏻 with the seepweed🌿🥗, then the crispy crunchy dried shrimp 🦐 add the boost ⬆️ to its overall taste in a spoonful 🥄 So satisfied to enjoy this salad 🥗🤤😋
Seepweed 🌿 Leaf Curry with Oysters 🍛🐚
Very appetitive 🤤 curry fragrance to enjoy, especially the fresh oysters 🐚 taste so sweet in this curry🍛
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 not really an oyster fan, however she loves 💗 the original sweetness of the fresh oysters in this dish 🐚😋🤤
Fried Rice 🍚 with Crab 🦀 Roes
It served with a small bowl of spicy 🌶 seafood dipping sauce, specially for spicy lovers ❤️
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has enjoyed the original taste of this fried rice 🍚 , as you all are aware she is never a spicy lover ❌🌶
Fresh vegetables 🥗🥒 & fresh Thai mangoes served with sea salt dip too
After satisfied delicious 😋🤤 tasty local homemade seafood lunch 🍽🍴🦀🦐🐟 served, she went to have a walk 🚶🏻♀️in the salt farm with Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️
Ohh ya…A reminder 📌 for sun ☀️🌞 protection during this tour, do wear comfy clothing 👚👖, bring a hat 👒/ cap 🧢, sun ☀️🌞 screen, sun glasses 🕶, sandals 👡/ washable shoes 👟 Or you may borrow from the salt farmers 👫👭👬
Definitely worth your time to enjoy a slow pace walk 🚶🏻♀️in the salt farm, you will observe the a few of the salt farms with salt starting to crystallize 💠😍 Wow 😲‼️
During her visit, no small pyramids 🔼 of salt being piled up as it was in between dry ☀️ & raining ☔️🌧 season, so the salt harvesting not as great this season
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 also personally observed how the locals handpicked 🖐🏻 & performed the salt grading 🔢 too. Definitely great 👍🏻 eye sight 👀👁👁 is required for this manual process ✅
She 👩🏻 also visited a traditional salt storage & learning how the salt farm is being formed & then harvested from the salt farmers/ local communities 👬👭👫
Before you left the salt farm & headed back to Bangkok city 🌆🏙, you may shopping 🛒🛍 for some salt products e.g. sea salt, soap etc. which produced by the locals as souvenirs 🎁 for friends & family members 👭👬👫
Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️ is very friendly, willing to share & helpful as she has patiently helped SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 to ask❓& communicate 🗣👥 a numbers of questions❓❓in Thai 🇹🇭 to the villagers during this day tour 👬👫👭
Highly recommended👆🏻if you are looking for a quick getaway from Bangkok, a peaceful village, to observe & experiencing the local agriculture 💚 lifestyle at salt farm, then dining for fresh home cooked seafood 🦀🦐🐟, this day tour would be your pick ✅
You may experiencing a natural sea 🌊 salt foot 👣 spa here by just walking 🚶🏻♀️🚶🏻♂️ in the salt farm bed with bare foot 👣
Do sign up ✅ this day tour with Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️, it definitely worth your time 😍🤩
Truly an eye 👀👁👁 opening experience to discover & learnt much more about the secret of sea salt production as well as an exclusive ❤️ chance to savour the homemade seafood 🦀🦐🐟from salt farm prepared by the local villagers👭👫👬
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has created her vlog 📹🎥📝 about this perfect 👍🏻 slow pace private tour 🚙 with Khun Hansa 🙋🏻♀️, the local expert with an escape from the busy Bangkok city 🌆🏙to a less travelled province in Thailand 🇹🇭 , do enjoy her visual 🎥📹 experience captured ya 😍🤩
