All invited participants also gained a chance to learn more about the CF-Hotels initiative & the ongoing efforts by TAT to promote socially & environmentally responsible tourism. This “CF-Hotels’ initiative” aims to help reduce ⬇️ the impacts of climate change.in fact, CF Hotel Product Briefing by Tourism Investment Promotion Department

The 🌐  http://www.cf-hotels.com (FB: @CFhotels ) online platform currently has a network of 160 hotels across Thailand 🇹🇭 It has been created to enable hotel & lodging operators to create a database of environmental inventory (Energy, water, waste & greenhouse gases) & calculate the carbon footprint of their operations. This will reflect the impact of the hotel operations on the environment & can indicate how successful the business is in sustainable management. The data can also be analysed to find ways to reduce ⬇️ greenhouse gas emissions, allowing hotels to make informed business management decisions to increase ⬆️ revenue & reduce ⬇️ expenses from energy consumption

Hotels can also present the database as part of the submissions for a STAR (Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating) certification & the Thailand Tourism Awards 🏆

TAT developed the CF-Hotels online platform in cooperation with the Research Unit for Energy Economic & Ecological Management, Science & Technology Research Institute, Chiang Mai University. This initiative is carried out under the guidelines of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation 💚🇹🇭

The CF-Hotels initiative forms part of the TAT’s push towards more sustainable tourism & Net Zero Tourism. Tourists are encouraged to be part of this effort to help prevent climate change by choosing to stay in any of these hotels where possible ✅💯👍🏻

So, during your next trip to Thailand, do checking out & then book your stay in these hotels ya 🏨🛌🏻

Then, the Product Debrief offers a platform for exchanging recommendations from the overseas participants based on their 1️⃣st-hand experience on each route. Case studies from the session will be taken into account to further develop the products & services of the award-winning Thai tourism enterprises to meet customers’ needs & desires
