They offer a list of Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) certified programmes.
Occasionally, Q Cup also will offer some workshops e.g. basic brewing, latte art etc.
SiennyLovesDrawing had an intensive briefing from Mr Yu about coffee beans, auctions, coffee beans roasting machines & equipment etc. to ensure quality of roasted coffee beans.
Currently, Q Cup Cafรฉ starts its business operations at the 1st Floor of its building, while renovation still in progress at the Ground Floor, and projecting it will be ready by early 2017. The Q Cup teaching lab is located at the 2nd Floor.
Mr Yu informed that in the near future, Q Cup will serve wine & alcoholic beverages ๐ท๐พ๐ธ๐บ
Through conversation with Mr Yu, really impressed with his passionate towards coffee. Moreover, SiennyLovesDrawing really amazed with his auctioned coffee bean collections.

Was 1st time heard about great quality coffee beans actually required an auction to determine its owner for tasting. Wow! Really surprised & learnt much more about coffee.

I admire people who can concoct different coffee recipes. Why so? Because I can’t for the life of me operate sophisticated coffee machines. I’m your boiled water + coffee powder kinda girl. Hmm well, I can work the simple coffee presses and the machine that requires coffee pods but not the super-complicated machines. Reading your post I learned that coffee beans are being auctioned as well – I thought only flowers are auctioned. It’s great to know new information on a daily basis I should say.

Ha…Ha…me too! Very simple minded when come to having daily meals & beverages! Guess what? I have requested Mr Yu to design something that will be easier & more convenience for working adults to enjoy a cup of healthy hand brew coffee at home before heading to work ๐โ

I’m not a big fan of coffee, but I always caught myself holding a cup coffee maybe because there’s something in the aroma of it that is soothing to my nose. I like the process of brewing of their coffee. This will surely be a place for people that loves food and coffee as well. Thank you for sharing, I might visit this place if I get the chance.

I don’t drink coffee, just because I have never liked it. My family and I have often talked about how good a business a coffee shop would be though. So, those courses would definitely interest me. I have to admit that I didn’t realise how much there is to know about coffee!

I want to eat the Sautรฉed Tiger Prawns Angel Hair and the breakfast dish. They both look delicious! I am not a coffee drinker but I like the aroma. They smell really good.

I am wondering. Did Mr. Wu talk about food pairing with which coffee? It’s just a thought that came to mind because wine is like that… there is a right wine for certain foods. Anyway, I am glad you had the experience and if not for anything, the things you learned makes you a well-rounded person.
