Awesome Korean dining at Chicken Up 🇰🇷🥘🍗

Recent weekend, SiennyLovesDrawing brought her parents 👴🏻👵🏻 to enjoy a new Korean 🇰🇷restaurant in town named Chicken Up 🤗

It is Singapore’s 🇸🇬 No.1 1️⃣ Korean Fried Chicken 🍗 & has been home to authentic Korean dishes & the Chicken we all love since 2010 with a vision to provide a casual dining experience & introduce some of the authentic Korean 🇰🇷 cuisines.

It is known for its unique taste due to its preparation i.e. each chicken 🐔part is treated to a 12 hours marinating process using the original Chicken Up recipe & then deep-fried 🍗to seal in the flavours. This process ensures that every piece is bursting with succulent juices & tenderness to create a great satisfying taste 😋

The external design of this restaurant quite unique, easily spotted it from the street 😀

Chicken Up’s Snow Squid 🐙 Topokki/ UFO Topokki

This dish is comprised of a soft rice cake & fish cake with spicy chili 🌶paste sauce called gochujang & a deep fried breaded big whole squid 🐙 on top, then served in a UFO shaped pan 🥘

SiennyLovesDrawing’s parents love this delicious UFO Snow Squid🐙🥘Toppoki ~ A combination of traditional Korean 🇰🇷 street food e.g. toppoki, deep fried breaded #squid 🐙 & 5 side dishes e.g. caramelized #kimchi, #cheese🧀, corn🌽 cheese, kimchi fried rice & #steamedegg 🥚 The deep fried squid is garnished with grated padano cheese which creates the ‘snowing’ effect

1st 1️⃣ in Malaysia 🇲🇾, a must order dish ya 👍🏻😋

Mama Ginseng Chicken Soup 🍲

A sharing pot of very tasty famous Korean Ginseng Chicken soup 🍲served with a spring chicken stuffed with rice 🍚, boiled with Ginseng & other herbs.

SiennyLovesDrawing loves all kinds of soup, so she had 2 2️⃣ big bowls of it

Ganjang Soya Chicken Wings 🐓🐔

It is a garlic-soya based blend of deep-fried 🍗Korean chicken recipe coated in sweet batter that is oozing with flavors. These wings are marinated with fragrant seasoning, deliciously😋deep-fried to perfection, coated with Chicken Up’s 5 special soy sauce blends. The soy sauce is specially imported from Korea 🇰🇷

Its deep-fried chicken is so crispy outside, tender and juicy inside. It is covered with a layer of sweet soy sauce that make it a more satisfying & addictive dish to enjoy 😁

SiennyLovesDrawing really enjoyed her “gloved fingers” 👍🏻 linckin good of this tasty chicken wings! Very adddictive! 😋

Haemul Pajeon ~ Seafood 🐙🦐 & Green Onion Pancake

It is made up of shrimps, squids, chilli pepper, onion & chives prepared with Korean batter mix & beef 🐮🐂 seasonings.

This snack mostly can be found at the streets of Busan which made from a batter of eggs 🥚, wheat flour onion leaves & seafoods 🦐🐙. A slightly different from this Chicken Up’s version.

SiennyLovesDrawing is not a spicy food lover, however, she suggests that this pancake really goes well with a dip into the chilies🌶 sauce served. It absolutely add on for the snacking umph of this pancake 😆

SOJURITA BEERITA 🍻🍺~ Turning Your World Upside-Down!

Chicken Up introduces its new invigorating, power-packed cocktail drink ~ Sojurita Beerita 

Each serving is good for sharing. It’s like a slushy, fruity 🌴🍎🍊🍑, subtly sweet & extremely refreshing alcoholic 🍺 drink in one.

SiennyLovesDrawing & her parents shared a Lychee Beerita 🍺🍻! Of course her dad only a sip as he got to drive 🚘🚗 home 🏡 after the dining 🍽

The innovation of an upside down bottle of Soju in every goblet adds to the fun. As you take a sip, and it goes half-empty, simply lift the bottle just enough to let the Soju spill into your fruity Margarita 🙂

Lightbulb 💡 drink

There are 3 3️⃣ choices of drinks served i.e. soda, juice & smoothies.

SiennyLovesDrawing loves the creative ideas of its drink container & the customers can bring it home & reuse it

Lots of kids would be facinated with it!

Anyway, old people also loving it ~~ SiennyLovesDrawing’s dad👴🏻enjoyed his Lightbulb 💡 blueberries 🍇🍒smoothies

Watermelon 🍉🍈 Bingsu

This dessert is basically made of frozen milk mushed finely all together with its fruity toppings on its shell 🍉🍈

So, it is healthier & less sinful. And it is especially enjoyable during hot sunny days because of its thirst-quenching effect & good for sharing too!

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 & her parents 👴🏻👵🏻 happily shared the whole water melon 🍉bingsu together!

The Bingsu is favoured equally by both young 👶🏻👦🏻👧🏻 & older 👴🏻👵🏻 dessert lover, as it is not only visually appealing but taste heavenly & definitely very satisfying too! 😋👍🏻
