‘PMC x AirAsia: S.E.A. Pride’

It’s an exclusive capsule collection with the theme of celebrating & championing Southeast Asia 🗺 🌍, its culture & its people 👫👭👬

This collection aims to spark conversations 🗣👥👤👥 as the designers were given full creative freedom in expressing the essence of Southeast Asia 🗺🌍 through their eyes 👀 , ultimately showcasing to the world 🌍 what Southeast Asian artists have to offer

Designed by 7️⃣ different Southeast Asian designers from;

• Malaysia 🇲🇾 (Pestle & Mortar Clothing)

• Vietnam 🇻🇳 (Headless)

Ho Chi Minh City-based Quang Minh founded Headless in 2015 when he could not find the clothes. ⁠Boasting a distinctive unisex ⁠style inspired by anime, Headless has since grown into one of Vietnam 🇻🇳 ’s most unique streetwear brands

• Cambodia 🇰🇭 (Lisa Mam & Peap Tarr)

Peap Tarr has his roots in graffiti art culture, later combining his New Zealand 🇳🇿 & Cambodian 🇰🇭 heritage to create a unique form of ⁠street art that has caught the attention of art lovers around the world with its signature sinister yet tranquil imagery

Lisa Mam is a young, up-and-coming urban artist from Phnom Penh who embodies the city’s new 🆕 energy. As the 1️⃣st official female ⁠street artist in Cambodia 🇰🇭 , she has been perfecting her unique style since 2010 & has been featured in several collaborative ⁠exhibitions throughout Asean

• Thailand 🇹🇭 (Mamablues)

One of Thailand 🇹🇭 ’s most sought-after street artists, Fawalai Sirisomphol, 1️⃣st made a name for herself as an illustrator & mural artist. With a background in interior architecture, she is best ⁠known for creating larger-than-life pieces featuring characters & slice-of-life imagery

• Philippines 🇵🇭 (Don’t Blame The Kids)

This clothing brand centered on youth culture, one that thrives on hard work, passion & the unconventional. It’s designed to instill a strong sense of purpose, positivity & community among kids 👶🏻👧🏻🧒🏻👦🏻🧑🏻 & the kids-at-heart the world 🌍 over

• Singapore 🇸🇬 (Sam Lo)

Known as the ‘Sticker Lady’ following a run-in with the law several years ago, artist Sam Lo blends Eastern & Western influences to ⁠create uniquely Singaporean 🇸🇬 work, which include the iconic design of the Nike Singapore flagship store in Jewel Changi Airport 🛩

Launched by Head of Brand, AirAsia Group Rudy Khaw, and Pestle & Mortar Clothing CEO & Co-Founder Hugh Koh at REXKL, the line features 7️⃣ clothing & accessory items e.g. 3️⃣ unisex t-shirts, 1️⃣ 5-panel cap, 1️⃣ luggage tag, 1️⃣ bum bag & 1️⃣ set of 3 pins
