MITA Showcasing Tourism Producsts Negeri Sembilan 🇲🇾

Yeah‼️ SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has recently participated as 1️⃣ of the media members 👭👫👬 for the Malaysian Inbound Tourism Association (MITA)’s Business Networking 2️⃣D1️⃣N trip 🎒🕶🧢 at Negeri Sembilan (N9️⃣) 🇲🇾 with approximately 250 pax of the tourism industry players/ delegates 👭👫👬 from nationwide 🇲🇾in particular Negeri Sembilan, KL, JB etc. & Singapore 🇸🇬

Wow‼️ Congrats 👏🏻🙌🏻 for this successful tourism event organised towards achieving tourism productivity of 4.1% a year i.e. aligning with the Government initiative 🙌🏻✌🏻

This is her 2️⃣nd participation, 1️⃣st was at Langkawi Island 🌴🏖🏝, refer link 👩🏻‍💻📝 below,

With the continuous great 👍 effort of organising more tourism events moving forward, surely will increasing ⬆️ the 1.1% growth of 2017 overall tourism employment rate & future years 👏🏻🙌🏻

This tourism event was held📍with concurrent sessions in the grand ballroom of Royale Chulan Seremban 🏢,

  • Malaysian Productivity Council (MPC) exhibition
  • ezBE consultation ~ An online self- assessment tool to gauge an entity/ organisation’s succes
  • Productivity Gain Measurement (PGM) consultation ~ Productivity measurement on an organisation’s efficiency before & after interventions completed
  • B2B networking
  • Small Medium Enterprises (SME) Products Showcasing by the Seremban Municipal Council (MPS)

Hmm…What’s the objectives 📌 of this MITA Business To Business (B2B) at N9️⃣❓⁉️

MITA aims to,

1) Showcasing Tourism Products @ N9️⃣

2) Networking among tourism players 👭👫👬

3) Maximizing ⬆️ the productivity of local tourism asset, including locally produced art & craft 🎨🖌

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 had an awesome 🤩 learning experience of handmaking 👐🏻🙌🏻 a colourful 🌈 basket with rattan at the booth of Malaysia 🇲🇾 Handicraft Development Corporation ~ N9️⃣ branch 😀

https://twitter.com/SiennyLovesDraw/status/1034360294842105856

4) Providing a platform 🗣👥👤👥 to identify issues & challenges in hampering productivity growth 📈

She 👩🏻 has learnt a lot from the forum 🗣👥👤👥 which moderated by YBhg Dato’ K Thangavelu ~ “Challenges & Opportunities for Tourism in Negeri Sembilan” with panelists from Tourism Malaysia, N9️⃣ Economic Planning unit (EPU), MPS, MITA’ s Chinese Individual Market & MITA’s Incentive group

Some of the challenges faced to continue developing N9️⃣ as a greater 👍🏻 tourist destination📍among both local & foreign tourists👭👫👬 including low ⬇️ awareness of its tourist spots📍📍to visit, having enough multi-language talented tourist guides 👫👬👭especially to service the increasing trend of China 🇨🇳 tourists 👭👫👬, greater 👍🏻 transportation infrastructure 🚊🚖🚞🚌 in place to receiving greater ⬆️ no. of tourists 👭👬👫 to N9️⃣ etc.

5) Having engagement opportunities on strategic planning, best management practices & collaboration with government agencies, industry & community leaders 👭👬👫

6) Receiving the latest update on strategies by Local Tourism Authorities i.e. Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), MPS, Tourism Productivity Nexus, MPC etc. 👍🏻

7) Implementing Tourism Product Audit practices

The choice of tourist destinations📍 are both Seremban & Port Dickson (PD) of N9️⃣, West Malaysia 🇲🇾 Hmm…Why N9️⃣❓⁉️

“It’s because N9️⃣ located📍in between South states of West Malaysia 🇲🇾 to Kuala Lumpur (KL) 🌆🌃 & both local & foreign tourists 👫👭👬 will passing by whenever travelling on the road 🚗🚕🚌🚐 from South, however most of the time missing it by not stopping by to learn more & experiencing its Adat Perpatih cultures” said Mr Uzaidi Udanis 👨🏽‍💼, the President of MITA & Chairman of the Tourism Productivity Nexus during the event

This actually aligns with the low ⬇️ awareness of its exciting places to visit in N9️⃣ as shared during the forum 🗣👥👤👥 , refer item 4 above

Hmm…Curious 🤔 about where are the exciting tourist destinations📍📍within N9️⃣❓⁉️

  1. That is a nice well-organized tourism event. I think Malaysia will see more tourists with that. Anyway, I had a difficult time reading your blog post because of all the hashtags, captions, and emojis in between. I think it would be better next time to take photos then just blog thoroughly about it.

  2. Congratulations on participating in this event! I would love to join a similar event that would promote the destinations and products in the Philippines if our Department of Tourism would also organize something like this. Looks like you really had fun here. I hope to visit Malaysia again with my family.
