Awesome Boden Edu Farm Visit

Hi πŸ‘‹πŸ» …Hi πŸ‘‹πŸ» …In this blogging πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’»πŸ“, SiennyLovesDrawing πŸ‘©πŸ» is gonna sharing about her discovery of the 2️⃣nd hiddenΒ gems πŸ’ŽπŸ’ŽΒ of Negeri Sembilan πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ from her recent FAM trip 🚌🚍 with @NSTGA πŸ‘«πŸ‘«πŸ‘¬

Ohh…Where❓⁉️

It’s named as Boden Edu Farm🌱🌿, a must visit farm🌱🌿 in a garden & an agro tourism destination πŸ“whenever you are travelling to Negeri Sembilan of Malaysia πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ

It’s a fully operational farm🌱🌿 & situated between 2️⃣ townships of Batu Kikir & Bahau πŸ™‚

What’s BoDen❓⁉️

An acronym of “Boer” (a species of goat 🐐 , literary meaning farm 🌱🌿 in Dutch πŸ‡³πŸ‡± language) & “eden” means me in a local dialect of Negeri Sembilan πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ

IMG_2376.JPG

It means My Farm 🌱🌿 as she was told during the welcome speech πŸ—£πŸ‘₯πŸ‘₯πŸ‘₯ by the foundersΒ πŸ’πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ(a married couple) with a desire to lead a new πŸ†• life journey in agriculture 🌱🌿 after their career retirement πŸ˜€

IMG-20180419-WA0088.jpg

Why thisΒ farm creation❓⁉️

The main aims to achieve are to have this farm 🌱🌿 as a place of enjoyment, engagement & enlightenment with its complete ecosystem developed to showcasing nature πŸ’š at work. Then, the takeaways of its farm 🌱🌿 visitors πŸ‘«πŸ‘πŸ‘¬ would be experiential & educational from their farm visit πŸ€—

πŸ’š~ Experience. Engage. Enlighten. Enjoy ~πŸ’š

During her recent trip, she was grouped in Team A with about 2️⃣0️⃣pax of her tourist guide friendsΒ πŸ‘«πŸ‘¬πŸ‘ for the farm 🌱🌿 visit

There are 5️⃣ sheds to visit within this πŸ’―-acre farm🌱🌿,

1️⃣ The Goat 🐐🐐 & Sheep πŸπŸ‘ ShedΒ

The founders ~ Mr Zainal Abd Ghani πŸ’πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ& Mrs Fatimah Abdullah πŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈaims to have its farm 🌱🌿visitors πŸ‘¬πŸ‘«πŸ‘to observe & learn the goats🐐🐐’ behaviour while browsing cum sheeps πŸπŸ‘grazing

IMG_2371.JPG

Also provide the exclusive up πŸ†™ close opportunities to touch/ hold/ pat/ cuddle/ pamper/ feed 🍼the baby goats 🐐🐐/ sheeps πŸπŸ‘& adult goats🐐🐐/ sheepsπŸπŸ‘

Before stepped πŸ‘£ into the shed, she was advised to cleanse her shoes πŸ‘ŸπŸ‘Ÿ 1️⃣st at the shed entranceπŸšͺby the farm officerπŸ‘·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

IMG_2347.JPG

She was amazed 🀩 & respected πŸ‘πŸ» this great procedures to protect the clean & safe environment for its goats 🐐🐐/ sheeps πŸπŸ‘

If you’re luckyπŸ€, you will enjoying selfie 🀳 time with the goats 🐐🐐 / sheeps πŸπŸ‘

IMG_2383.JPG

Ohh…Hi πŸ‘‹πŸ» …You wanna have a selfie 🀳 with SiennyLovesDrawing πŸ‘©πŸ»β“β‰οΈ

Don’t be jealous ya 😝😜

IMG_2405.JPG

Yeah‼️ Milk 🍼 feeding baby goat 🐐

2️⃣ The Trigona Bee 🐝 Sanctuary & Honey 🍯 Tasting πŸ˜‹

Wow‼️ Once you stepped πŸ‘£ into this sanctuary, you will be surrounding by some free πŸ†“ flying stingless bees 🐝 🐝 to foraging for food & nectar 🌷🌹🌸🌺🌼🌻

IMG_2440.JPG

Definitely a haven for the pollinator ~ stingless bees 🐝 🐝 source the nectar from the variety of flowers & plant🌷🌹🌸🌺🌼🌻, to find materials to constructing & securing their bee 🐝 hives

Wow β€ΌοΈπŸ˜² Exclusive chance to get personal & close contact with these tiny harmless gift 🎁 of natureπŸ’šπŸŒ³πŸŒ³ Need not ❌ worry ~ stingless ya πŸ˜†

IMG_2441.JPG

Yeah‼️ She got a straw & with exclusive chance to taste the honey 🍯 directly from the bee 🐝 hives. So so yummy delicious πŸ˜‹πŸ€€

4️⃣ The Tea πŸƒGarden & Tea 🍡 Tasting πŸ˜‹

A relaxing garden walking πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ & learning more about tea πŸƒ plants

A plot to showcasing the different types of plants used to producing Boden’s herbal teas πŸƒπŸ΅ Really an enjoyable tea 🍡 tasting πŸ˜‹ as each has its unique flavour & health properties πŸ˜„

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Unlike the so called “true tea” which are brewed from the tea leaves πŸƒ, the Boden herbal tea 🍡are made from the leavesπŸƒ, fruits🍌 & flowersπŸ’ from its farm 🌱🌿 cum garden 🀩

Hmm…Curious πŸ€” about the types of tea 🍡 SiennyLovesDrawing πŸ‘©πŸ» & friends πŸ‘«πŸ‘πŸ‘¬ have enjoyed & tasted πŸ˜‹ during this tea πŸƒ garden visiting❓⁉️

IMG-20180419-WA0072.jpg

There are lemongrass, butterfly πŸ¦‹ pea, ginger, peppermint, Roselle, Mulberry πŸ’ etc. πŸ˜‹πŸ€€

Personally, she loves ❀️ the butterfly πŸ¦‹ tea 🍡 the most, not just because of its purple πŸ’œ colour, but its taste too 😘

IMG-20180419-WA0010.jpg

Hmm…So sad 😞 that she forgot to get a packet πŸ›’πŸ› of butterfly πŸ¦‹ tea 🍡 home 🏑 😭

4 The Potting Shed

Yeah‼️ “Green πŸ’š Fingers” is a myth πŸ™ƒ

As you all are aware, different plants 🌱🌿require a different admixture of the planting media, then the plants will glow & blossom, green πŸ’š fingers or not 😊

Some of the herbs planting 🌱🌿within the garden,

Ohh ya…She loves ❀️ the interactive πŸ—£πŸ‘₯πŸ‘€πŸ‘₯session at this plot where she got an enjoyable learning & hands on experience in planting 🌱🌿

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The steps ~ soil mixing, compost, plants & seedling, watering πŸ’¦πŸ’§, then harvest 🌱🌿

She has chosen for a misai kucing plant 🌱🌿 & took it home 🏑 after the session as her trip souvenir 🎁 for her papa πŸ‘΄πŸ»

Her papa πŸ‘΄πŸ» loves πŸ’š gardening…Not SiennyLovesDrawing πŸ‘©πŸ» ya πŸ˜†πŸ€£

However, she definitely a nature πŸ’šπŸŒ³πŸŒ³ lover

Wowβ€ΌοΈπŸ˜² A video clip πŸ“ΉπŸŽ₯ captured by the farm officers πŸ‘·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸ‘·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ during her visit

Wow β€ΌοΈπŸ˜² She really loves ❀️ her 1️⃣st visit to this farm 🌱🌿 & you have to visit it ya πŸ˜ƒ

Oppsss…Do remember that this farm 🌱🌿 is only open πŸ†— for group tour πŸ‘«πŸ‘πŸ‘¬ during weekend via advanced booking πŸ“žβ˜ŽοΈπŸ“±, no ❌ walk-in πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈya πŸ˜‰

This farm 🌱🌿 is offering for special πŸ†’ events arrangement e.g. family day, company trip, team building, experiencing life on a farm🌱🌿, camping β›ΊοΈπŸ•, birthday πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽˆcelebration etc.

The founders πŸ’πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ’πŸ½β€β™€οΈ also welcome any visitors πŸ‘πŸ‘¬πŸ‘« to rent the farm 🌱🌿 for a day, a week, or a longer term too β˜ΊοΈπŸ€—
