Indra Laban, General Manager πŸ‘¨πŸ½β€πŸ’Όof AkzoNobel Decorative Paints 🎨 Malaysia πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ said: β€œDulux 🎨 is a strong advocate of the power of colours 🎨 We believe that colours 🎨 can transform entire communities & influence how we perceive the world 🌍 around us. To that end, we would like to take this opportunity to renew our commitment in continually inspiring people πŸ‘πŸ‘¬πŸ‘« with colours πŸŽ¨β€

β€œThis collaboration with Nala Designs is a sensible 1️⃣ because they are passionate about creating MalaysianπŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ-inspired artwork that is vibrant & eyeπŸ‘€-catching, but more importantly capable of inspiring individualsπŸ‘πŸ‘¬πŸ‘« This is parallel to what Dulux 🎨 advocates. In addition, it’s a platform for us to deliver on our promise of producing & delivering consistently accurate coloured paints 🎨 & coatings to offer customers a dependable application experience.”

Nala Designs began as a stationery βœοΈβœ’οΈbrand in 2009, before becoming the fashion πŸ‘šπŸ‘•πŸ‘—πŸ‘” boutique & merchandising name it is today. With artwork & motifs inspired by Malaysian πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ heritage, Nala Designs adds life to furniture, walls via murals πŸŽ¨πŸ–Œ & even floors via handπŸ‘πŸ»-painted designs

Scheers πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ’Ό said: β€œColours 🎨 play an important role in our daily lives & a great way to make use of colours 🎨 is to paint πŸ–Œ, regardless of the canvas. However, painting is somewhat underappreciated today because many think of it is time-consuming & frankly inconsequential 😌

To change this mindset, we have collaborated with Dulux 🎨 to showcase the power of colours 🎨 through the painting of walls – not only is this the most impactful way, it’s also 1️⃣ of the most affordable. It’s impactful in the sense that colours can change the way the space you live in looks like, especially when you begin playing around with textures. The colour 🎨 of your walls can also affect your moodπŸ˜‰β—οΈβ€

β€œTo us, colour 🎨 is everything & that’s 1️⃣ way we try to distinguish ourselves in the creative industry – by creating products that not only sport eyeπŸ‘€-catching designs, but showcase our passion for colourπŸŽ¨β€ She πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ’Ό added

  1. It’s awesome that you get to be a part of this event. You get to express your artistic style while using a very good paint. Yes, I admit Dulux is a really good paint brand but expensive too. but then with all its features, its worth the price. Thanks for sharing!

  2. It is so nice to see art because we learn to appreciate it like life. If only I have that kind of talent, I would really love to extend my skill to students. This event was so cool because artists get to meet and inspire others to color.

  3. This looks like a very interesting event to be a part of. It is always wonderful to immerse ourselves in art, as they are not only inspiring but also soothing to the soul. I would’ve loved to learn how to paint, but I am not really that creative. But I guess, we will never really know until we try. I attended a watercoloring workshop several years back and I absolutely enjoyed it. I guess, it is time I finally learn and put my materials to good use! πŸ˜€
