Kenaboi State Park of Negeri Sembilan

Yeah‼️ SiennyLovesDrawing πŸ‘©πŸ» was recently invited πŸ“©πŸ’Œ by @NSTGA & joined together the FAM trip to explore & discover Negeri SembilanπŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ

Guess what❓⁉️

This was her 1️⃣st time travelling πŸŽ’πŸ•ΆπŸ§’πŸ‘Ÿ with so so many tour guides πŸ‘«πŸ‘πŸ‘¬, nice meeting all & really appreciate the great friendships 🀝 gained from this trip πŸ˜ƒ

Negeri Sembilan is not just with widely known Port Dickson beach πŸ–πŸ , she has explored some hidden gems πŸ’ŽπŸ’Ž during her recent trip 😝😎

Ohh…Where & what❓⁉️

1️⃣ of the gems πŸ’ŽπŸ’Ž recently discovered by her is Kenaboi State Park (FKA Taman Alam Liar Negeri) 🏞🌳🌳

Wow‼️ Awesome coincidentβ€ΌοΈπŸ˜

Guess what❓⁉️

She has just read πŸ‘“ about it from The Sun Daily πŸ—žπŸ“° in March & she has then visited it in April πŸ˜‰

This park 🏞 is located πŸ“in the Kenaboi Forest Reserve🌳🌳, Jelebu which constitutes Hill Dipterocarp Forest. It overlooks the rainforest 🌳🌳 landscape, adjoining the Titiwangsa mountain β›° range in Pahang at north, as well as the borders of states Pahang & Selangor 😊

If you are 1️⃣ of the many nature lovers πŸ’šπŸ’š, you will enjoy your time to experience this unspoilt greenery 🏞🌳🌳 of Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ

Your next holiday destination for sureβ€ΌοΈπŸ˜„

It’s with limited network receptionπŸ“Ά, so you will enjoy a peaceful & private me time during your visit. AΒ perfect place to hide from the constant hustle & bustle city πŸŒ†πŸ™ lifestyle as well as without any phone calls πŸ“žβ˜ŽοΈπŸ“±disturbance πŸ˜€

Ohh ya…So what’s the exciting bit of this place❓⁉️

Photo 18-04-2018, 7 55 31 PM.jpg

She truly enjoyed the river πŸ’¦πŸ’§ trekking πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ, tubing at Kenaboi river πŸ’¦πŸ’§, night πŸŒƒπŸŒŒ jungle 🌳🌳 walk πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ& a camping πŸ•πŸ• overnight here

Hmm…How to access πŸ“to this state park πŸžβ“β‰οΈ

This park 🏞 has began to be discovered in 1990 by 4×4 extreme sport activities through the Jemaloi Valley 🏞 of Negeri Sembilan πŸ‡²πŸ‡Ύ

True enough, she has transferred to ride on 4×4 after a coach 🚌 ride with her friends πŸ‘«πŸ‘πŸ‘¬ to get through the bumpy & potholes road πŸ›£& then arrived at the base camp site πŸ•πŸ•

Dropped off luggages πŸŽ’πŸ’ΌπŸ‘œ at tent ⛺️ & captured πŸ“Έ aΒ group photo 1️⃣st before the river πŸ’¦πŸ’§trekking πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Frankly, it’s quite a challenging πŸ™ƒ river πŸ’¦πŸ’§trekking πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈ i.e. hiking through the streams to reach to Jeram Berungut 🏞

It’s definitely worth your sweatsss πŸ’¦πŸ’¦ as you will be amazed with breathtaking 🀩😍 views of the river πŸ’¦πŸ’§canyons as well as cool & crystal clear waters as the reward πŸ˜ƒ

Since the river πŸ’¦πŸ’§trekking πŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈwas started at late noon πŸ”…& due to unfavourable weather 🌦🌧, she has yet ❌ to reach & view the well known approximately 93m high Lata Kijang waterfall with all her friendsπŸ‘πŸ‘¬πŸ‘« Nevermind, will keep this in her travel bucket list then πŸ˜†

After the river πŸ’¦πŸ’§trekkingπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸšΆπŸ»β€β™€οΈ, she has continued with tubing at the Kenaboi river πŸ’¦πŸ’§

Just so so relaxing 😌 & not ❌ to be missed ya!! You will feel your mind, body & soul just flow naturally & freely down the river. Amazing!!

Ha…Ha…Her tubing journey was being captured πŸ“Έ by the officer of Forestry Department, Negeri Sembilan πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

It was really an awesome πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ» day to get close with green πŸ’šπŸ’š natureβ€ΌοΈπŸ˜ƒ Do enjoy a video clip πŸ“ΉπŸŽ₯ captured by her for sharing here,

A cosy comfy night πŸŒƒπŸŒƒ at camp β›ΊοΈπŸ• stay, not to worry, there are proper shower 🚿 & washroom 🚽

Photo 04-05-2018, 7 08 35 PM.jpg

Hmm…The uniqueness of this park 🏞 includes its rich variety of floral 🌳🌲🌱🌿 cum plants e.g. orchids herbs, ferns, palm trees etc., the abundant waterfalls of the Kering RiverΒ πŸ’¦πŸ’§ i.e. the tributary of the Kenaboi River πŸ’¦πŸ’§which often being associated with the local believed myth of the injured deer 🦌 falling into the waterfall. Yes βœ…, hence the name of the waterfalls of Lata Kijang Waterfalls πŸ˜€

There are approximately 3️⃣ indigenous people villages within this park & namely as Tohor Village, London Village & Nap Village. However, SiennyLovesDrawing πŸ‘©πŸ» has yet ❌ to visit to any of these villages during her recent short trip to this park 🏞

So, what are you waiting for❓⁉️

Let’s plan for a green πŸ’šπŸ’š getaway with aims to destress 😌 with a great change of green πŸ’šscenery & fresh air 🌬You will definitely rechargedβ€ΌοΈπŸ˜ƒ

  1. Looks like a great place to explore the outdoors. Too bad you were not able to reach the Lata Kijang waterfall. I am sure that would have been an incredible experience. Hopefully you are able to come back for longer and do the things you did not have time for.

  2. I am officially envious for all these awesome invites you are getting to go to these amazing places! πŸ˜€

This one looks like another wonderful place to visit! Just look at those lovely things to do and see. I have never see a falls upclose so that will be an awesome treat. I would also love to cross that river as well as that hanging bridge!

Seriously, bring me with you next time, ayt! πŸ˜€

    1. Yeah‼️ Absolutely agree with you, initially I got panic πŸ˜ŒπŸ˜” when no network access, but then after I got used to it & really appreciate the quiet space & time to enjoy the green nature πŸ’šπŸŒ³πŸŒ³ without phone & messages beeping πŸ˜πŸ˜‰

  3. I’m really not used to articles with a lot of emojis, so they threw me off a bit. Despite that, I’m happy you got to enjoy your trek! Is it an easy trek for beginners like me? I just wonder if I would just tumble and fall a lot in this route. Hahaha! 🀣🀣🀣

    1. Thanks and appreciate your personal thought πŸ’ sharing to my blogging style ☺️😊

Hmm…I used to hike so this river trekking personally suggest more for intermediate, instead of beginner. It may be slightly challenging to the beginner though 😌☺️ Still can do of course with prior trip preparation 1st ya ✌🏻

To avoid slippery falling, ensure you get a pair of good covered water shoes πŸ‘Ÿ for the river trekking ya πŸ€—πŸ˜Š

  5. I love the views! Have you been to the Philippines? We also have great rivers! You will enjoy it here. Do they serve any food near the area? Were there a lot of mosquitos when you were camping? That looks so fun though! Thanks for the post!

    1. Hi Lee Tian, have been once to Philippines, it was a working trip, so only travelled around the city : ) Great thanks for your suggestion, will plan for a nature trip to your home country in the future πŸ˜€

Yes, they will serve food & beverage during your stay (included in the package, suggest you to confirm with them during your trip booking ya πŸ˜€ to avoid dissappointment). No mosquitoes surprisingly at the camp site as well as during my night jungle walk, however suggest to bring along your insect repellent as prevention. I bought during my trip too πŸ˜€

Hope my reply clarifies your queries, do feel free to ask again, am happy to help & share ya πŸ™‚

  6. That was a great opportunity to enjoy nature and meet new friends. My family and I went on a field trip also yesterday. We said that we will also have camping next time in this place that we visited. Maybe when my youngest child is a bit older.

  7. What an adorable way of sharing, through emojis! At first, I got distracted but I got used to it. The camping/outdoor activities look very interesting and enjoyable. How I wish I could go camping already and enjoy life!

  8. This is actually very perfect for the kind of adventure that I always love to experience. The fact that it is very unspoiled and tucked in the lush green forest, it is a good place to commune with mother nature while enjoying all the refreshing greenery that it has to offer. I haven’t heard about this Kenaboi State Park before, and will surely consider coming here if I get the chance to visit Negeri sembilan. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.
