Kenaboi State Park of Negeri Sembilan

Yeahโ€ผ๏ธ SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป was recently invited ๐Ÿ“ฉ๐Ÿ’Œ by @NSTGA & joined together the FAM trip to explore & discover Negeri Sembilan๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ

Guess whatโ“โ‰๏ธ

This was her 1๏ธโƒฃst time travelling ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ•ถ๐Ÿงข๐Ÿ‘Ÿ with so so many tour guides ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ฌ, nice meeting all & really appreciate the great friendships ๐Ÿค gained from this trip ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Negeri Sembilan is not just with widely known Port Dickson beach ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ , she has explored some hidden gems ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž during her recent trip ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜Ž

Ohh…Where & whatโ“โ‰๏ธ

1๏ธโƒฃ of the gems ๐Ÿ’Ž๐Ÿ’Ž recently discovered by her is Kenaboi State Park (FKA Taman Alam Liar Negeri) ๐Ÿž๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ

Wowโ€ผ๏ธ Awesome coincidentโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜

Guess whatโ“โ‰๏ธ

She has just read ๐Ÿ‘“ about it from The Sun Daily ๐Ÿ—ž๐Ÿ“ฐ in March & she has then visited it in April ๐Ÿ˜‰

This park ๐Ÿž is located ๐Ÿ“in the Kenaboi Forest Reserve๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ, Jelebu which constitutes Hill Dipterocarp Forest. It overlooks the rainforest ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ landscape, adjoining the Titiwangsa mountain โ›ฐ range in Pahang at north, as well as the borders of states Pahang & Selangor ๐Ÿ˜Š

If you are 1๏ธโƒฃ of the many nature lovers ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š, you will enjoy your time to experience this unspoilt greenery ๐Ÿž๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ of Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ

Your next holiday destination for sureโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜„

It’s with limited network reception๐Ÿ“ถ, so you will enjoy a peaceful & private me time during your visit. Aย perfect place to hide from the constant hustle & bustle city ๐ŸŒ†๐Ÿ™ lifestyle as well as without any phone calls ๐Ÿ“žโ˜Ž๏ธ๐Ÿ“ฑdisturbance ๐Ÿ˜€

Ohh ya…So what’s the exciting bit of this placeโ“โ‰๏ธ

Photo 18-04-2018, 7 55 31 PM.jpg

She truly enjoyed the river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ง trekking ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ, tubing at Kenaboi river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ง, night ๐ŸŒƒ๐ŸŒŒ jungle ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒณ walk ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ& a camping ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ• overnight here

Hmm…How to access ๐Ÿ“to this state park ๐Ÿžโ“โ‰๏ธ

This park ๐Ÿž has began to be discovered in 1990 by 4×4 extreme sport activities through the Jemaloi Valley ๐Ÿž of Negeri Sembilan ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ

True enough, she has transferred to ride on 4×4 after a coach ๐ŸšŒ ride with her friends ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ฌ to get through the bumpy & potholes road ๐Ÿ›ฃ& then arrived at the base camp site ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ•

Dropped off luggages ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ’ผ๐Ÿ‘œ at tent โ›บ๏ธ & captured ๐Ÿ“ธ aย group photo 1๏ธโƒฃst before the river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’งtrekking ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Frankly, it’s quite a challenging ๐Ÿ™ƒ river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’งtrekking ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ i.e. hiking through the streams to reach to Jeram Berungut ๐Ÿž

It’s definitely worth your sweatsss ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ฆ as you will be amazed with breathtaking ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿ˜ views of the river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’งcanyons as well as cool & crystal clear waters as the reward ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Since the river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’งtrekking ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธwas started at late noon ๐Ÿ”…& due to unfavourable weather ๐ŸŒฆ๐ŸŒง, she has yet โŒ to reach & view the well known approximately 93m high Lata Kijang waterfall with all her friends๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ฌ๐Ÿ‘ซ Nevermind, will keep this in her travel bucket list then ๐Ÿ˜†

After the river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’งtrekking๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ, she has continued with tubing at the Kenaboi river ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ง

Just so so relaxing ๐Ÿ˜Œ & not โŒ to be missed ya!! You will feel your mind, body & soul just flow naturally & freely down the river. Amazing!!

Ha…Ha…Her tubing journey was being captured ๐Ÿ“ธ by the officer of Forestry Department, Negeri Sembilan ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

It was really an awesome ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป day to get close with green ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š natureโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Do enjoy a video clip ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŽฅ captured by her for sharing here,

A cosy comfy night ๐ŸŒƒ๐ŸŒƒ at camp โ›บ๏ธ๐Ÿ• stay, not to worry, there are proper shower ๐Ÿšฟ & washroom ๐Ÿšฝ

Photo 04-05-2018, 7 08 35 PM.jpg

Hmm…The uniqueness of this park ๐Ÿž includes its rich variety of floral ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฟ cum plants e.g. orchids herbs, ferns, palm trees etc., the abundant waterfalls of the Kering Riverย ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’ง i.e. the tributary of the Kenaboi River ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ’งwhich often being associated with the local believed myth of the injured deer ๐ŸฆŒ falling into the waterfall. Yes โœ…, hence the name of the waterfalls of Lata Kijang Waterfalls ๐Ÿ˜€

There are approximately 3๏ธโƒฃ indigenous people villages within this park & namely as Tohor Village, London Village & Nap Village. However, SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป has yet โŒ to visit to any of these villages during her recent short trip to this park ๐Ÿž

So, what are you waiting forโ“โ‰๏ธ

Let’s plan for a green ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š getaway with aims to destress ๐Ÿ˜Œ with a great change of green ๐Ÿ’šscenery & fresh air ๐ŸŒฌYou will definitely rechargedโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  2. This is actually very perfect for the kind of adventure that I always love to experience. The fact that it is very unspoiled and tucked in the lush green forest, it is a good place to commune with mother nature while enjoying all the refreshing greenery that it has to offer. I haven’t heard about this Kenaboi State Park before, and will surely consider coming here if I get the chance to visit Negeri sembilan. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

  3. What an adorable way of sharing, through emojis! At first, I got distracted but I got used to it. The camping/outdoor activities look very interesting and enjoyable. How I wish I could go camping already and enjoy life!

  4. That was a great opportunity to enjoy nature and meet new friends. My family and I went on a field trip also yesterday. We said that we will also have camping next time in this place that we visited. Maybe when my youngest child is a bit older.

  5. I love the views! Have you been to the Philippines? We also have great rivers! You will enjoy it here. Do they serve any food near the area? Were there a lot of mosquitos when you were camping? That looks so fun though! Thanks for the post!

    1. Hi Lee Tian, have been once to Philippines, it was a working trip, so only travelled around the city : ) Great thanks for your suggestion, will plan for a nature trip to your home country in the future ๐Ÿ˜€

Yes, they will serve food & beverage during your stay (included in the package, suggest you to confirm with them during your trip booking ya ๐Ÿ˜€ to avoid dissappointment). No mosquitoes surprisingly at the camp site as well as during my night jungle walk, however suggest to bring along your insect repellent as prevention. I bought during my trip too ๐Ÿ˜€

Hope my reply clarifies your queries, do feel free to ask again, am happy to help & share ya ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. I’m really not used to articles with a lot of emojis, so they threw me off a bit. Despite that, I’m happy you got to enjoy your trek! Is it an easy trek for beginners like me? I just wonder if I would just tumble and fall a lot in this route. Hahaha! ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

    1. Thanks and appreciate your personal thought ๐Ÿ’ญ sharing to my blogging style โ˜บ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hmm…I used to hike so this river trekking personally suggest more for intermediate, instead of beginner. It may be slightly challenging to the beginner though ๐Ÿ˜Œโ˜บ๏ธ Still can do of course with prior trip preparation 1st ya โœŒ๐Ÿป

To avoid slippery falling, ensure you get a pair of good covered water shoes ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ for the river trekking ya ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ˜Š

This one looks like another wonderful place to visit! Just look at those lovely things to do and see. I have never see a falls upclose so that will be an awesome treat. I would also love to cross that river as well as that hanging bridge!

Seriously, bring me with you next time, ayt! ๐Ÿ˜€

  9. Looks like a great place to explore the outdoors. Too bad you were not able to reach the Lata Kijang waterfall. I am sure that would have been an incredible experience. Hopefully you are able to come back for longer and do the things you did not have time for.
