Kenaboi State Park of Negeri Sembilan

Yeah‌ SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 was recently invited 📩💌 by @NSTGA & joined together the FAM trip to explore & discover Negeri Sembilan🇲🇟

Guess what❓⁉

This was her 1⃣st time travelling 🎒🕶🧢👟 with so so many tour guides 👫👭👬, nice meeting all & really appreciate the great friendships 🀝 gained from this trip 😃

Negeri Sembilan is not just with widely known Port Dickson beach 🏖🏝 , she has explored some hidden gems 💎💎 during her recent trip 😝😎

Ohh…Where & what❓⁉

1⃣ of the gems 💎💎 recently discovered by her is Kenaboi State Park (FKA Taman Alam Liar Negeri) 🏞🌳🌳

Wow‌ Awesome coincident‌😁

Guess what❓⁉

She has just read 👓 about it from The Sun Daily 🗞📰 in March & she has then visited it in April 😉

This park 🏞 is located 📍in the Kenaboi Forest Reserve🌳🌳, Jelebu which constitutes Hill Dipterocarp Forest. It overlooks the rainforest 🌳🌳 landscape, adjoining the Titiwangsa mountain ⛰ range in Pahang at north, as well as the borders of states Pahang & Selangor 😊

If you are 1⃣ of the many nature lovers 💚💚, you will enjoy your time to experience this unspoilt greenery 🏞🌳🌳 of Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan 🇲🇟

Your next holiday destination for sure‌😄

It’s with limited network reception📶, so you will enjoy a peaceful & private me time during your visit. A perfect place to hide from the constant hustle & bustle city 🌆🏙 lifestyle as well as without any phone calls 📞☎📱disturbance 😀

Ohh ya…So what’s the exciting bit of this place❓⁉

Photo 18-04-2018, 7 55 31 PM.jpg

She truly enjoyed the river 💊💧 trekking 🚶🏻‍♀🚶🏻‍♂, tubing at Kenaboi river 💊💧, night 🌃🌌 jungle 🌳🌳 walk 🚶🏻‍♀🚶🏻‍♂& a camping 🏕🏕 overnight here

Hmm…How to access 📍to this state park 🏞❓⁉

This park 🏞 has began to be discovered in 1990 by 4×4 extreme sport activities through the Jemaloi Valley 🏞 of Negeri Sembilan 🇲🇟

True enough, she has transferred to ride on 4×4 after a coach 🚌 ride with her friends 👫👭👬 to get through the bumpy & potholes road 🛣& then arrived at the base camp site 🏕🏕

Dropped off luggages 🎒💌👜 at tent ⛺ & captured 📞 a group photo 1⃣st before the river 💊💧trekking 🚶🏻‍♂🚶🏻‍♀

Frankly, it’s quite a challenging 🙃 river 💊💧trekking 🚶🏻‍♀🚶🏻‍♂ i.e. hiking through the streams to reach to Jeram Berungut 🏞

It’s definitely worth your sweatsss 💊💊 as you will be amazed with breathtaking 🀩😍 views of the river 💊💧canyons as well as cool & crystal clear waters as the reward 😃

Since the river 💊💧trekking 🚶🏻‍♀🚶🏻‍♂was started at late noon 🔅& due to unfavourable weather 🌊🌧, she has yet ❌ to reach & view the well known approximately 93m high Lata Kijang waterfall with all her friends👭👬👫 Nevermind, will keep this in her travel bucket list then 😆

After the river 💊💧trekking🚶🏻‍♂🚶🏻‍♀, she has continued with tubing at the Kenaboi river 💊💧

Just so so relaxing 😌 & not ❌ to be missed ya!! You will feel your mind, body & soul just flow naturally & freely down the river. Amazing!!

Ha…Ha…Her tubing journey was being captured 📞 by the officer of Forestry Department, Negeri Sembilan 😅😂🀣

It was really an awesome 😎👏🏻 day to get close with green 💚💚 nature‌😃 Do enjoy a video clip 📹🎥 captured by her for sharing here,

A cosy comfy night 🌃🌃 at camp ⛺🏕 stay, not to worry, there are proper shower 🚿 & washroom 🚜

Hmm…The uniqueness of this park 🏞 includes its rich variety of floral 🌳🌲🌱🌿 cum plants e.g. orchids herbs, ferns, palm trees etc., the abundant waterfalls of the Kering River 💊💧 i.e. the tributary of the Kenaboi River 💊💧which often being associated with the local believed myth of the injured deer 🊌 falling into the waterfall. Yes ✅, hence the name of the waterfalls of Lata Kijang Waterfalls 😀

There are approximately 3⃣ indigenous people villages within this park & namely as Tohor Village, London Village & Nap Village. However, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has yet ❌ to visit to any of these villages during her recent short trip to this park 🏞

So, what are you waiting for❓⁉

Let’s plan for a green 💚💚 getaway with aims to destress 😌 with a great change of green 💚scenery & fresh air 🌬You will definitely recharged‌😃

  2. This is actually very perfect for the kind of adventure that I always love to experience. The fact that it is very unspoiled and tucked in the lush green forest, it is a good place to commune with mother nature while enjoying all the refreshing greenery that it has to offer. I haven’t heard about this Kenaboi State Park before, and will surely consider coming here if I get the chance to visit Negeri sembilan. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

    1. Yeah‌ You love 💚 nature 🌳🌳 too, do visit it whenever you are here in Malaysia 🇲🇟 Most welcome 🙏🏻 my pleasure to share some less travelled places in my home country 😃😁

  3. What an adorable way of sharing, through emojis! At first, I got distracted but I got used to it. The camping/outdoor activities look very interesting and enjoyable. How I wish I could go camping already and enjoy life!

  4. That was a great opportunity to enjoy nature and meet new friends. My family and I went on a field trip also yesterday. We said that we will also have camping next time in this place that we visited. Maybe when my youngest child is a bit older.

  5. I love the views! Have you been to the Philippines? We also have great rivers! You will enjoy it here. Do they serve any food near the area? Were there a lot of mosquitos when you were camping? That looks so fun though! Thanks for the post!

    1. Hi Lee Tian, have been once to Philippines, it was a working trip, so only travelled around the city : ) Great thanks for your suggestion, will plan for a nature trip to your home country in the future 😀

Yes, they will serve food & beverage during your stay (included in the package, suggest you to confirm with them during your trip booking ya 😀 to avoid dissappointment). No mosquitoes surprisingly at the camp site as well as during my night jungle walk, however suggest to bring along your insect repellent as prevention. I bought during my trip too 😀

Hope my reply clarifies your queries, do feel free to ask again, am happy to help & share ya 🙂

  6. it’s always a great experience to explore this kind of place. Nothing beats the feeling of embracing the nature and marveling its beauty. They help you escape from the stressful reality and help you ease all the stress and your problems. I’m glad you had a great blast with this awesome adventure. I haven’t tried camping yet but I am very eager to experience it someday!

  7. I’m really not used to articles with a lot of emojis, so they threw me off a bit. Despite that, I’m happy you got to enjoy your trek! Is it an easy trek for beginners like me? I just wonder if I would just tumble and fall a lot in this route. Hahaha! 🀣🀣🀣

    1. Thanks and appreciate your personal thought 💭 sharing to my blogging style ☺😊

Hmm…I used to hike so this river trekking personally suggest more for intermediate, instead of beginner. It may be slightly challenging to the beginner though 😌☺ Still can do of course with prior trip preparation 1st ya ✌🏻

To avoid slippery falling, ensure you get a pair of good covered water shoes 👟 for the river trekking ya 🀗😊

    1. Yeah‌ Absolutely agree with you, initially I got panic 😌😔 when no network access, but then after I got used to it & really appreciate the quiet space & time to enjoy the green nature 💚🌳🌳 without phone & messages beeping 😝😉

  8. I am officially envious for all these awesome invites you are getting to go to these amazing places! 😀

This one looks like another wonderful place to visit! Just look at those lovely things to do and see. I have never see a falls upclose so that will be an awesome treat. I would also love to cross that river as well as that hanging bridge!

Seriously, bring me with you next time, ayt! 😀

  9. Looks like a great place to explore the outdoors. Too bad you were not able to reach the Lata Kijang waterfall. I am sure that would have been an incredible experience. Hopefully you are able to come back for longer and do the things you did not have time for.
