Yup‌ Yup‌ Both female & male dancers 🕺🏜💃🏟are holding plates 🍜 on both hands 🀲🏻 for this traditional Minangkabau dance 💃🏟🕺🏜

Hmm…She learnt from the dancers🕺🏜💃🏟at the end of the opening launch 🎉🎊 that there is a trick of wearing a ring 💍 on the finger on both hands 🀲🏻 of the dancers 🕺🏜💃🏟 to create the rhythm 🎌🎵🎶 during this plate dance💃🏟🕺🏜…Just so interesting‌😜

Wow‌ 1⃣ of the Chinese dances being performed ~ Lantern🏮dance💃🏻 花燈舞 which was popular in the Qing dynasty 枅朝 It signifies the Chinese 🙋🏻‍♀🙋🏻‍♂community in Malaysia 🇲🇟 Yeah‌ Lanterns 🏮🏮are used by both male & female dancers 💃🏟🕺🏜 in their hands 🀲🏻 for this dance 👍🏻

Very nicely 😍🀩 performed by the Malay dancers 💃🏟🕺🏜, well done 👏🏻👏🏻 to all the dancers‌👍🏻

So many matters happened since 6 May when SiennyLovesDrawing has rushed back from her working tripsss to attend 2 friends’ wedding ceremonies supposedly (meant to be a surprise to both of her friends). However, early morning of 6 May, received a phone call that her big uncle (mama’s family) has passed away

Sigh…Whole family members then rushed to Pahang to be with the big uncle’s family, helped for the wake preparation & attendance till 8 May. She really missed this big uncle so much as since young, he always bought him books & stationeries whenever he came to KL to visiting her family back then.

May you rest in peace, “dua gu” (big uncle in Hokkien dialect)

Then, rushed back to KL as whole family went for #GE14 #509 as a responsible Malaysians

  2. One thing I really enjoy watching is this kind of show on stage. I rarely watch anything like this, which is very interesting and one way of expressing the rich culture of one place like Malaysia. This cultural performance of Colour’s of Negeri Sembilan is something I should really have to watch if I get the chance soon. The dance is perfect with so much color and history. I can’t wait to visit Malaysia soon.
