Hmm…Have you been to Pangkor Island๐Ÿ–๐Ÿโ“โ‰๏ธ Or when was your last travelling to Pangkor Island๐Ÿ–๐Ÿโ“โ‰๏ธ

Almost more than ๐Ÿ”Ÿ years for SiennyLovesDrawing๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป, yesโœ…, such a long long time…๐Ÿ˜Œfor island holidays. She was atย Pangkor International Festival (PIF) 2015 to present her handrawn art pieces. Read more,

This travelling journey was started with superb early wake up ๐Ÿ”†๐Ÿ”… for a Transnasional bus ๐ŸšŒ rideย ๐Ÿ˜ต๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ’ค It was about4๏ธโƒฃ hours (9๏ธโƒฃam to 1๏ธโƒฃpm) from TBS terminal, KL to Lumut bus terminal, Manjung Perak๐Ÿ˜Š

Then, a jetty โš“๏ธ transfer ๐Ÿš–๐Ÿš• to Marina Jetty โš“๏ธ by known locally, Mama Jamilah Hasil Laut (Special thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป ya)

Proceeded with a quick 5๏ธโƒฃmins speed boat ๐Ÿšค transfer from Marina Jetty โš“๏ธ to Pangkor Jetty โš“๏ธ by officers from Majlis Perbandaran Manjung (Special thank you ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป ya). She was told that if ferry โ›ด transfer took ๐Ÿ”Ÿmins, however 30-40mins if ferry โ›ด transfer from Lumut jettyโš“๏ธ

So, lunch ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿดtime when she arrived Pangkor Jetty โš“๏ธ approximately 2๏ธโƒฃpm with the writers gang๐Ÿ‘ฌ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ‘ญ

Yeahโ€ผ๏ธ Pangkor Kopitiam lunch ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿดdining.ย Itโ€™s located right beside Pangkor Jettyโš“๏ธ, just so so convenientโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Guess whatโ“โ‰๏ธ

Very reasonable price ๐Ÿ’ฑ with a great varieties too๐Ÿ˜‹

What were the dishes enjoyedโ“โ‰๏ธ

IMG_4632.jpg

Prawn Fritters ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค served with Spicy ๐ŸŒถ Peanut ๐Ÿฅœ Sauce

IMG_4659.jpg

SiennyLovesDrawingโ€™s ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป favourite โค๏ธ from all dishes enjoyed from this kopitiam. Quite addictive & she really can finish the whole dish just by herself๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿคค

Ha…Ha…Sharing is caring as always, of course she still shared it with her writers gang๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ฌ๐Ÿ‘ซ

IMG_4671.jpg

Very crunchy delicious especially after dipped it with the spicy ๐ŸŒถ peanut sauce ๐Ÿฅœ served. Not very spicy & really love ๐Ÿ’— the heavy peanut ๐Ÿฅœtaste to enhance the whole tasting๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜‹

Apple ๐Ÿ Fried Riceย ๐Ÿš

IMG_4658.jpg

Hmmโ€ฆQuite a big portion for a female ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธdiner, as it served with green apple ๐Ÿ slices, an omelette๐Ÿณ, fried prawns ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค served with a small bowl of Thai Tom Yam soup ๐Ÿฅฃ

Very refreshing ๐Ÿ˜‹ tasting of this fried rice ๐Ÿš because of the green apple ๐Ÿ , a bit sour & juicy to enjoy๐Ÿคค

Noodle ๐Ÿœ Laksa ๐ŸŒถ Pangkor ๐ŸŸ

IMG_4657.jpg

Also known locally as Mee Laksa Pangkor in Malaysiaโ€™s ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡พ national language

It’s the signature dish ๐Ÿฒ in Pangkor Island ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ

A must have when youโ€™re travelling ๐ŸŽ’๐Ÿ•ถโ›ด to Pangkor Island ๐Ÿ–๐ŸIt served with fresh fish ๐ŸŸin clear soup ๐Ÿฒ & a spoonful of chilies ๐ŸŒถ You may adjust the spiciness of this dish๐Ÿ˜€

IMG_4668.jpg

SiennyLovesDrawing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป loves โค๏ธ the smooth white noodles ๐Ÿฒ (forgot to clarify with the founder ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธwhether these noodles were handmade, similar to Japanese ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต ramen ๐Ÿœ โ“โ‰๏ธOppss…) & the natural fish ๐ŸŸ sweetness of this dish

Chicken ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ” Chop Fried Riceย ๐Ÿš

IMG_4646.jpg

This is a big portion for her (luckily she was sharing all dishes with her writers gang ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ฌso that get a chance to taste them all ๐Ÿ˜) because of the big piece of chicken ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ“chop, a bowl of fried rice๐Ÿš , a fried egg ๐Ÿณ , crinkle-cut fries ๐ŸŸ & salad ๐Ÿฅ— served with it.

You can opt for either black pepper ๐ŸŒถsauce or mushroom ๐Ÿ„ sauce or a mixture of both ๐ŸŒถโž•๐Ÿ„ for the chicken ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ” chop. Hmmโ€ฆPersonally she prefers mushroom sauceโœ…๐Ÿ„

Black Pepper ๐ŸŒถ Beef ๐Ÿฅฉ ๐Ÿ‚Fried Rice ๐Ÿš

IMG_4645.jpg

Very tender beef ๐Ÿฅฉ slices in this rice ๐Ÿš dish, not very spicy black pepper ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป๐ŸŒถ flavor. It served with some crackers ๐Ÿฅ ๐Ÿฅ  too. Niceโ€ผ๏ธ

Assam Laksa ๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿฅ˜

IMG_4654.jpg

Very appetitive dish because of its sour spicy, moreover with its tangy clear rice noodles served inย the sweetness from its fish ๐ŸŸbroth๐Ÿฅ˜

Quite addictive to enjoyโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿ˜‹

Curry ๐ŸŒถNoodlesย ๐Ÿœ

IMG_4655.jpg

It served with yellow noodles in thick curry ๐ŸŒถbroth. Very tastyโ€ผ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‹

Hmm…If the curry ๐ŸŒถbroth cooked with thicker coconut ๐ŸŒด๐Ÿฅฅ milk, this bowl of curry noodles would be tastier for sureโ—๏ธJust her personal dining preference ya๐Ÿ˜†

Signature Pangkor ๐Ÿ–๐Ÿ Fried Rice ๐Ÿš

IMG_4656.jpg

This dish with spicy ๐ŸŒถ belacan fried rice ๐Ÿš , a fried fish ๐ŸŸ & some crackers ๐Ÿฅ ๐Ÿฅ

Hmm…Not her preference as it’s quite a spicy ๐ŸŒถdish to her๐Ÿ˜Œ

Lemongrass Ginger tea โ˜•๏ธ

IMG_4672.jpg

Really nice ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป to enjoy the lunch ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿดserved at Pangkor Kopitiam with a cup of iced lemongrass ginger teaโ˜•๏ธ

Do enjoy her video clip ๐Ÿ“น๐ŸŽฅ captured from this lunch dining at Pangkor Kopitiam

Yeahโ€ผ๏ธ A happy group photo ๐Ÿคณ of all writers gang ๐Ÿ‘ซ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ‘ฌwith the founder ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธof this kopitiam after the satisfied ๐Ÿ˜ƒ lunch ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿด dining here

  2. Oh, you obviously had a great time! There are so many interesting things that you shared especially the interiors of the restaurants and the food! But what really made it more fun are your travel buddies who are also writers at the same time.
