Yeah! SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻has recently accepted an exclusive invitation to join the Ministry of Tourism & Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) for the launch of new criterias for Classification & Rating Criteria Tourist Accommodation Premises in Malaysia 🇲🇾at Tanah Aina Farrah Soraya🏞

Ohh…It was a 2D1N trip 🎒to Raub, Pahang in Malaysia & travelled in a nice coach 🚌

Had an enjoyable delicious Malay lunch 🍽 at Lemang Toki Bentong

It is glutinous rice 🍚with coconut fragrant & cooked in bamboo🎋stick & served with spicy chicken 🐓🐔 or beef 🐂🐮to dine

A must try when you are travelling to Bentong ya 😋👍🏻❗️

Arrived at the car park area to the resort, then all of us with our luggage bags 🎒👝👜💼transferred to a lorry 🚛

Yeah! We have to travel with the resort lorry to be at the resort⁉️Wow❗️

After breakfast, attended the launch of the new criterias for Classification & Rating Criteria Tourist Accommodation Premises in Malaysia 🤗

SiennyLovesDrawing has learnt much more about the hotel ratings scheme, would be helpful in her future hotel review sharing then 😃

It was officiated by the Minister of Tourism & Culture Malaysia, 👨🏻‍💼YB Dato ‘Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz (YB) & attended by the senior officials of MOTAC, the Pahang State Government agencies & industry practitioners in the hospitality & tourism industry🙂

At the ceremony, YB has launched 5 5️⃣new classification criteria of,

• City Hotel
• Highlands Hotel
• Resort (Island / Coast / lake / river)
• Innovative Hotel
• Boutique Hotel

which all effective from 1^st June 2017

“These criteria also give attention to the elements of creativity & innovation, green 💚elements, local cultural & sustainable tourism without compromising on standards, security & services offered. Innovative new concept hotel surely will attract young people in the hospitality industry ” said YB 👨🏻‍💼during the launch

The Malaysia’s hotel star ⭐️ classification scheme have been implemented since 1996 & followed with the Orchids Standard in 1999. These criteria apply to all types of property regardless of location, suitability, facilities & position of the hotel. This revision of the criteria is implemented to align with the rapid changes & needs.

With this new rating criteria, operators of tourist accommodation premises will also have an alternative in providing services, facilities & infrastructure as well as better quality services to tourists 🤗

Taman Aina Farrah Soraya is rated as 4 4️⃣ stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️for Resort (River) category 👍🏻👏🏻Congrats❗️
