According to Mr Paul, generally Vietnamese 🇻🇳 foods’ taste slightly different according to its region,
North region ~ foods tend to be slightly salty
Central region ~ foods tend to be slightly spicy 🌶
Southern region ~ foods tend to be slightly sweet
Goi cuon (Fresh prawn spring rolls 🌯) ~ freshly rolled chicken slices with chives, lettuce, mint, vermicelli & fresh prawn. Dip with Hoisin sauce
As you may already know, Vietnamese 🇻🇳 famous with all sort of their rice paper wrap rolls 🌯Moreover, Vietnam also producing lots of rice papers too
Very common, Vietnamese 🇻🇳 rice paper wrap rolls 🌯are to dip with fish sauces to consume 👍🏻😆
Cha gio (Deep fried chicken spring roll 🌯) ~ fried minced chicken rolls with strips of carrot, yam & woodear mushroom. Delicately rolled in fine paper & deep fried in a golden crisp. Dip with fish sauce
For Vietnamese, this dish normally they will get a piece of rice paper, put the amount of herb/ vegetables, the meaty roll, then fish sauce/ chilies sauce, wrap up a roll 🌯& then consume 😁
In this connection, even though the meaty roll is fried/ you may think oily, but after eating it by way of wrapping with vegetables 🌱🌿, it is much more balance & healthy 👍🏻
That’s the reason why Vietnamese 🇻🇳👭👬 genetically slimmer, this is the secret 😉
Goi co hu dua tom thit (Young coconut shoot salad 🥗) ~ young coconut shoot with carrot, radish, onion, tarragon, fried shallot, peanut with Sao Nam fish sauce dressing.

Goi mang cut (Mangosteen & prawn salad 🥗) ~ an unique combination of mangosteen, dried squid flown in from Vietnam, grated fresh coconut & chicken slices. Topped with fresh tiger prawns, peanuts & sesame. With Chef Tien’s special kumquat dressing.
Especially this seasonal Vietnamese salad 🥗, it has been localised to Malaysian tastes by using Mangosteen! Am impress with the creativity of Sao Nam chef 👨🏻🍳 team 👍🏻👏🏻
According to Mr Paul, this salad 🥗 is an award 🥇 dish! Bravo!
Bun thit nuong (Grilled lemongrass chicken noodles salad) ~ chicken/ beef marinated with lemongrass, onion & garlic, then grilled. Served over vermicelli with fish sauce dressing.
Ha…Ha…SiennyLovesDrawing & her foodie friends were tossing this dish similar with Malaysian Chinese did normally during Chinese New Year ~ Lou Sang ~
This is very tasty dish from central region of Vietnam
Banh xeo (Vietnamese crispy pancake) ~ start with a rice flour batter, its taste enhance with coconut milk, turmeric powder & spring oinion. Folded in minced chicken, prawn, bean sprout & skillfully fried till edges are crispy. Dip with fish sauce
This is a famous dish from south region of Vietnam
Again, best to consume by wrapping the crispy pancake in a piece of rice paper with some herb e.g. mint leaves 🍃 / vegetables 🌱🌿a roll 🌯, then dip in chilies 🌶 fish sauce to consume 😋
