SiennyLovesDrawing has recently visited the KOREAN FAIR 2016 “Experience Korea” at Hartsmas Shopping Centre (HSC), she is now considering to revisit Korea again! πŸ˜‰

Hmm…She has been to Korea the 1st time during its beautiful midst of autumn to winter season in 2009. Ohh…that’s pretty long ago though…(trying finding a reason to convince for a revisit) πŸ˜†

Ha…Ha…Perhaps will revisit Korea again for Viva Ski Festival 2016-17 then πŸ˜„

It is a travel program to explore winter activities & K-theme programmes (including Korean food & cultures) in a No.1 ski resort in Korea.

Korean Fair 2016 starts from 27 Sept to 1 Oct 2016 with all around the mall of HSC to showcasing to all its shoppers’ the Korean food, snacks, fashions, lifestyle etc. Also will be showcasing some of the Korean culture at the Main Concourse of HSC daily from 1pm onwards. It is a meaningful initiative by HSC to share the diversity, culture, connect & experience with all its shoppers.

i. 27 Sept, Korean traditional cultural dance

ii. 28 Sept, Ddakji, sometimes called Ttakji. It is a traditional South Korean game played using folded origami tiles. It is similar to the American game of Pogs that was popular in the 1990s, but there is no “slammer” piece involved in the game play.

iii. 29 Sept, Tuho/ Korean traditional throwing sticks game. It was originally popular among the Royal families & upper class. In a manner similar to horseshoes. Tuho players will attempt to throw the arrows into the top of a narrow-necked wooden jar. The score is calculated by the no. of arrows in the jar. Tuho is presently played by people from all classes.
